Author Explanation
Hi everyone, I wanted to take advantage of this opportunity to clarify some points about the cultivation system of the novel. There will be no plot spoilers, except one that serves to understand the reason for my decision. The rest is only information regarding the power system that will be explained during the chapters. For those who wish, you can read this explanation of mine. The only plot spoiler doesn't detract from the enjoyment of the novel; instead it may be that you become more excited about the future part.
The novel, although resuming the characteristics of a Xianxia novel, it is better classified as Xuanhuan. (If you see written Xianxia genre/tag is because Xuanhuan is not included in the options.)
There is a search for immortality that drives many martial artists, but at the same time, it isn't the focal point of this novel. The focal point is another, more focused on the journey of the protagonist Hei.
As for the plot spoiler, it is that the story takes place on a single-dimensional plane. There will, therefore, be no lower worlds and higher worlds where the MC, once it has reached a certain level, advances to the higher world alone.
I have always found sad that previously tight bonds and love relationships are left in a corner to reappear as extras in the higher world. Although it is also present a similar phenomenon, it is to a lesser extent given that it is a shift from the islands to the continent, but always on the same dimensional plane.
Since there are no different dimensional plans, the cultivation system is similar for the races that live in the world. Therefore there will be no diversified cultivation methods, as seen in other novels where there is the division of energy, body, soul. The diversity of cultivation methods mostly concerns the speed of cultivation; that's all.

If you want to make a comparison, it is similar to Douluo Dalu 1, where it is mentioned that they cultivate every day, but the various existing methods aren't specified.
Another reason for this is because in the novels, a distinction is made between spirit power and the understanding of the element laws, but they end up giving the protagonist a method to increase his spirit power as well his laws comprehension. Therefore I decided instead to disconnect the two.
Martial artists have cultivation methods with which they increase the quantity of their spirit power while at the same time, they have to spend time to understand elemental laws. Therefore talent and commitment become fundamental as they have to practice both simultaneously in order not to create imbalances of power. The same also applies to the MC. This is to avoid creating a MC too much OP towards his peers, where thanks to his cheats and cultivation methods, he can easily beat anyone of his generation.
Another reason why I didn't put the typical diversification of energy, body, and soul is that I have always found it a bit awkward.
Body Cultivation allows you to have a strong and hard body, but you can do the same with the Metal Law. Soul Cultivation allows you to create illusions and control objects with the mind, but you can do the same with the Illusion Law and you can control the objects leaving an imprint through a formation with which to move the weapon with the mind.
Furthermore, the novel usually focuses on the MC's Laws, and although it tells us that there are thousands and thousands of laws, only a few are mentioned. Instead of creating thousands and thousands of laws, I put only 18 and only about natural phenomena. Later, I created a further diversification called Concept. The concept changes the essence of the person's spirit power.

A martial artist with the Concept of Destruction can increase the destructive power of his attacks, while a martial artist with the Concept of Life can increase the generative power of his body and heal others only by using his spirit power and so on.
By putting these changes, I can emphasize all the laws and create different types of combat from character to character. This is because, for characters of a certain importance, I have given each one a different bloodline and a different type of weapon that you will see later. Therefore there won't only be the usual bloodlines like dragon, phoenix, tiger etc. nor will there be only the classic weapons such as sword, spear, stick, but neglected weapons such as axe, the hammer, the whip and others that I have already prepared for the future.
That's all for now. I hope the explanation was clear and may have left you with excitement towards the future of the novel. Thanks for reading Son of the Spirit Beast, and if you have any questions or simply want to thank for the chapter, please comment. It is nice to receive comments in the chapters

The path to becoming one is not an easy one and there is always a new step to reach. Our story starts in one of the Tower where Aspirants try to become Arcanists. It's the story of Nikolaï, his struggles, his hopes, his journey ... in a word his life. A small WARNING from Ben: English is not my native language. I'm pretty confident in my ability to read it and understand it but there is a big gap between that and being able to properly write. My grammar being already "not so great" in my own language it makes sense to not expect a flawless one in another one. I'm getting better at it and invite readers to suggest any changes on the matter but if it's a deal-breaker for you you should pass or come back at a later date.Possibly in the future, I will look for someone to help me but if you read those world it's not the case yet.

Viltrumite in the MCU
Seeing the destruction Lord Argall made during his conquest, Frei abandoned the Imperial Army and his noble bloodline to join the Rebellion led by Thaedus. Despite killing Argall, the Viltrum leadership maintained their view on the rebellion being traitors. For worse, they enacted a war against people they considered "weak."Believing Thaedus is the only one who can rally the other races against the Empire, Frei and others sacrificed themselves against the pursuers for Thaeddus to escape. Beaten but victorious, while floating through the outer orbit of Viltrum, Frei entered a portal with scattering blue energy.Exiting the portal, Frei lost his consciousness inside of the Joint Dark Energy Mission Facility, a SHIELD base in 2011. Dr. Erik Selvig was astonished by the appearance of the strange bloody man. Moments before, he was just experimenting with the Tesseract. He called upon Nick Fury about the occurrence.----I do not own anything except for the main character. The profile photo is just something I blended using Photoshop. This project, I'm just working on for fun. Not much really. Maybe a couple of chapters per week.

A Wheel Inside a Wheel
Two brilliant young me, Reinhard von Musel and Yang Wen-li, are forced to flee the countries of their birth and become refugees on opposite sides of a century long galactic war. While they both struggle to adapt to their new lives, their obvious talent propels them to the forefront of the war. Their choices will shape their adoptive homelands forever, and their clash will decide the future of the galaxy. This story is broken up into volumes, each following one half of the conflict. You can read them in chronological order, or you can follow just Yang or Reinhard. See individual descriptions below. Part One - Speaking in Tongues When Yang Wen-li’s father dies, the only thing that he inherits is a mountain of debt, which can only be paid off with fifteen years of his life. Wanting to escape that indentured servitude, Yang flees his homeland and takes up a false identity in the Galactic Empire, a hyper-stratified society where stepping out of line is punishable with imprisonment or death. Yang enrolls in the Imperial Officers’ Academy to study history, but despite his unusual and unmistakeable talent as both a tactician and a scholar, his classmates resent him for being a visible outsider. When tensions at the school boil over and several of Yang’s classmates attempt to murder him, Yang finds an unlikely ally in the top student in the class: the aloof Oskar von Reuenthal. But Reuenthal and Yang both have secrets, secrets which could destroy both their lives and their newfound friendship. [70k words, complete] Part One (Alternate) - Talking Without Speaking When Oskar von Reuenthal enrolls at the Imperial Officers' Academy, he doesn’t expect to make real friends. [77k words, complete] Part Two - Life out of Balance When Reinhard von Musel's mother learns that her husband is about to sell her daughter to become the concubine of the Kaiser, she takes her two children, Reinhard and Annerose, and flees to the Free Planets Alliance, where the three of them must start a new life. Separated from everyone he cares about, Reinhard is forced to make some unexpected allies, and make connections with old friends.
