《Laria - A LitRPG》Finished

So, unfortunately, I will be done with this project for the foreseeable future. As I did with my previous book, I will outline the direction I was going to give everyone some closure.
I think I realized that keeping up with the statistics of LitRPG was my least favorite part of writing the story, and took the fun out of it. For a future book, I might stick with fantasy or Gamelit at the most. I was thinking of writing a book about our current DnD campaign from the perspective of my character. We have only had a few sessions so far, but my friend (the DM) is doing a great job with a completely new world, all homebrewed by himself. I think if I begin to write that story, I will wait until it is completed before I post on RR. The stress of trying to keep a consistent release schedule when your book actually gets picked up was a little too much for me, I think.
Regardless, thanks for giving this story a shot - I think it was significantly better than my previous attempt. Here is the outline of what I had for the story.
If you have noticed so far, every god or goddess has human features. No elves, dwarfs, etc. The reason for this is these "gods" are actually the original transports from Earth, and are the only ones to retain their memories (besides Vince, obviously). The reason for the experiment on Vince was to try and make someone from Laria become strong enough to ascend to godhood, which I'll explain in a moment.
Pretty soon where the current story is at, Vince will run into a dungeon where he encounters and zombie-like monster labeled as "The Corrupted" with a whole lot of ???'s in the status window. Weird thing was, there was no loot drop when killing it. In passing conversation, he mentions this particular monster to Murdock, who pales. Apparently, many centuries ago, there was an uprising of "Corrupted" that were able to escape the dungeons. It was the only time a worldwide peace treaty was put into place, to come together to stop said Corruption. There is a lot of experience and money tied into the dungeons, for new transports all the way to savvy adventurers. No one wanted to see dungeons fall to these things.

Penelope (magic goddess) talks to him and explains what is going on. There was a fallen "god" (just a human transport) that created these corrupted. As the rules state by the true God of Laria (and other planets he experiments on), they cannot fight each other directly, and thus, use Laria and their playground for power. When Vince tries to understand why they all just don't get along, Penelope makes it clear this God would cause much more trouble than what they cause between themselves.
We do a little bit of fast-forwarding in his training - he was put on a fast track to help with the spread of Corruption. Other countries are not buying the Academies cries for partnership - the corrupted was pushed back, and there was no evidence. So, wars continued, while Vince gets done with school.
In one particular fight with the Elves (they declared War, due to spreading "falsehoods" about the Corruption), he gets into a duel, 1v1 fight with a woman.
They call her the "Mage Slayer" and have been alive longer than most of the generals can remember. The fight is a draw, both hurt and injured, and unable to move on. She is clearly stronger, but Saphira helps make the fight a little more even, sacrificing herself in the process (she comes back, don't worry).
He meets the woman in a cage they keep prisoners and is shocked at what he finds. It is his wife, from Earth. She has no memories of Earth and has been around for several hundred years.
This is where Vince's Memories from the Past trait kicks in. He courts her, slowly. At one point, his emotions get so high and overwhelmed with the unfairness of it all, he touches her hand, and she shrieks. She has some mild memory of him from their time on Earth. Vince has the power to restore people's memories, although he is not very good at controlling it yet.

Eventually, she joins him, and he tests his ability to get her mind to unlock - its a long process, her memories slowly coming back over the next few months. He convinces her about the Corrupted, although he has not seen any since. This just makes the Academy more concerned - they are biding their time.
Slice of life stuff for a bit
Eventually, corrupted spill out. It's a big mess.
During one big fight, Vince runs into the God responsible for the corrupted. He gets his ass handed to him, obviously. Before he is killed, Penelope shows up. Talks about how he is breaking the rules, interfering directly. The fallen "god" says the rules do not apply to him anymore, he reached a deal with the God (always referring to this god as "The God"). He shoots a beam of light at Vince to finish him off, but Penelope stands in the way, the blast hitting her instead. She smiles - he broke the rule on engagement, which allowed her retaliation. So they fight. Penelope loses but is made the Corrupted God weak.
Vince and his wife take advantage and finish him off. His wife has powers the disable teleportation or fleeing, forcing the fight. Its close, but they make it.
That was the end of Book 1/Arc 1, all my other concepts were pretty rough from there on out so it wouldn't do justice to explain them.
Apologies for the summary of the ending, but I hope it gives you some closure, even though the details of it aren't impressive.
Stay safe everyone, if you want to stay and follow, I'll post whenever that next project comes to fruition.

Convergence Series
Eulisses Malinor is a prodigious and somewhat reclusive wizard with an unconventional outlook on life itself. The latter may or may not be related to him shedding the burdens of mortality some time ago. He claims that every wizard that takes pride in themself needs to reside in a tower in the middle of nowhere. It definitely has nothing to do with the Addia fanatics that continue to seek him out. Successfuly, much to his discontent. Ever out to ‘cleanse’ him, or bloody murder him if you'd ask the lich himself. But soon, that will no longer be a problem, as Eulisses has finally gathered every reagent - magical or otherwise he needs. He will tear open and stabilize a miniature Rift, essentially creating his very-own pocket realm in which even Addia’s gaze will no longer be able to reach him. Everything has been carefully planned out in advance, so there is no possibility of failure. You can maybe then imagine his bafflement, when instead of the nothingness of his successfully created pocket realm, Eulisses finds himself in a quite holy looking hall, amidst quite too-baffled looking fellows, in the centre of a gigantic summoning circle - allegedly, he cannot read the runes that make it up - and facing a young and quite fair maiden that stares at him quite wide-eyed.

Truthful Transmigration
Schedule: 1 Chapter each of Tuesday/Friday John Miller was a fairly normal young man, working hard to support a family that had run into many financial difficulties. Unfortunately, his unexpected death ends his difficult but mundane life. He is quite surprised to find himself waking up alive… but not himself. Fortkran Tenebach is… or was… the young master of a cultivation clan in another world. John barely even knows anything about cultivation- even in the theory of something vaguely like it- but he has to make his way with the memories of his new body. His new family isn’t as close as his old one was… but he can’t help but want to be honest with them. He is quite certain that they notice his sudden change in personality among other things, and confesses what happened in a move that ultimately he expects to be fatal. Quite surprisingly, his family instead breathes a collective sigh of relief that the old Fortkran is dead. This leaves John to take over his duties… including cultivation, though he has to start from the beginning and isn’t sure he won’t make some massive mistake.

Campaign: A Project Starfarer Sidestory
This novel’s lore, story and characters are entirely fictitious. Certain long-standing countries, institutions, organizations, agencies, and public offices are mentioned, but their histories and the characters involved are wholly imaginary. "What will you do with your freedom?"Growing up in a meritocracy, infamous for being lawless, Jordan Astros had been repeatedly asked this question, since times unmemorable. In a society where one's accomplishments and skills were tallied and ranked in order to determine one's standard of living however, Jordan quickly grew to understand that 'freedom,' was a reward earned by accumulating Merit. And so, after his 17th birthday, Jordan departed his Clan's habitat in orbit of Europa to embark on his century-long journey to rise from E-Ranker to S-Rank. And spread his name throughout the Galilean Powers. *** Campaign is a sidestory within its NanoPunk parent series, Project Starfarer. (Yet to be published. Be on the lookout for it!) In which the first transhuman known to humanity, the Starfarer, invokes a plan to seed terrestrial life throughout the galaxy. Campaign takes place around the middle of that timeline and explores the life of a key figure in that universe, Jordan Astros. And explores one of four great nations thriving in the Solar System during that time. A Meritocracy that spans Jupiter and its 79 moons, The Galilean Powers. What you'll find in Campaign: Brutal melee combat in airless and pressurized low gravity environments. A technology based progression system influenced by merit and accomplishments; using tech that's theoretically possible to exist in the near-future. An exploratory perspective of the dozens of Galilean societies, or 'Powers,' from Jordans; and sometimes others', POV. What you wont find: Romance. Harems. An MC who receives shortcuts, handouts, learns things unnaturally fast or has OP plot armor. Jordan is not a special individual. Jordan is not OP and he likely never will be. He's no different than any other citizen in the Galilean Powers and will certainly face as many defeats as he does wins. He'll suffer losses and grow as an individual, while the Powers evolves around him as well. This is semi-hard sci-fi/NanoPunk and takes place in a fictional version of our future solar system. Centered around technology that's plausible in the near-centuries to come. Everything abides by the laws of physics/thermodynamics (As best that I understand them, at least. I'm no scientist.) No artificial gravity, inertial dampeners, teleportation, FTL, or hand-wavy materials will be found in the Project Starfarer universe. Just advanced automation, nanotechnology, cybernetics and AI. Set in the backdrop of space. *I do not own the photo used for the cover*
