Royal Castle, the royal garden.

Darius sat around a table with a cup of tea in front of him.

“…This isn't poisoned, right?”

He spoke to Dario who was seated directly opposite of him.

“Don't be ridiculous. There's no need to poison you.”

“Didn't I free your fiancé?”

“You make it sound like I was confining her. Her leaving means nothing to me. In fact it's more convenient, since I won't owe your clan nothing. If anything it's them who owes me.”

“…Is that so?”

“He say that but he was really devastated when he heard she ran away from him.”

The one who said that, was Marco who sat at the side of the table.

Dario sent him a glare, but Marco drank his tea like it's wasn't his business.

“Well, I do admit that I was a little shocked. I mean if you heard that the woman who was supposed to be your wife ran off with another man you would be shocked too.”

Darius nodded in approval and drank the tea he was given.

“But Lisa running away has angered some really dangerous people.”

Said Marco.

“Yeah. She ran away, but she still won't be able to break the chains that hold her down.”

Dario took up the teacup and drank from it.

“What a shame.”

Around 3000 miles east of the Dragna Kingdom, there was a small country called Calabash. It was a fairly new country that was formed by a group of war orphans over a century. It took the place of an old kingdom that was destroyed by an intense battle between two [XXX Class] Proxies.

In such a place, Lisa and Zanis were cutting through a thick crowd with fluent steps. Not far behind them was a man with his face masked, literally throwing people out of the way.

“Tch.”

When he saw that the distance between his targets was slowly increasing, the man got impatient.

He drew a gun from his waist and pointed it in their direction.

“[Comet Shot]!”

A ball of light shot out of the gun like a comet. What happened next was a disaster.

*Boom!*

Bodies burst apart as the comet cut through the crowd and scorching anything in came in contact with.

The comet headed straight at the Zanis, who turned around and crushed it with his hands.

A dangerous light then flashed in his eyes.

“[Dimensional Grip]!”

He stretched out his hand and it disappeared into space like he had put it into a bucket of water.

“Die!”

Zanis then drew his hand back and a beating heart appeared in his hand.

The masked man's body shook and blood started leaking from his mask.

He watched as Zanis crushed the beating heart. The man fell dead backwards.

Zanis and Lisa then started running.

They didn't run long before numerous shadows started appearing under their feet.

They both jumped up, and watched as several monsters appeared out the shadows.

“They have summoners!”

Lisa shouted, as a chain appeared in her hands.

She wrapped the chain around the heads of the few of the shadow beast and pulled them towards her.

“[White Saber]!”

Her arm formed a blade of light, which she used to cut down the beast.

The remaining beast rushed at her as her feet touched the ground.

“Come out, Puu!”

She stomped the ground and a giant pair of jaws burst out the ground and devoured the beasts whole.

The ground then burst open, and an unbelievable monster came out.

It's head resembled that of an elephant with black tusks and large snake like teeth. It's body was huge with thick elephant-like forelegs and a serpentine lower body.

After devouring the beasts, the monster went beside Lisa and rubbed its cheeks on her in an intimate manner.

“What the fuck is that?!”

A man on a roof couldn't help but shout when he saw the monster.

Lisa point at him and said-

“It's chow time, Puu.”

The large monster then immediately pounced at the man and devoured him and a part of the building.

“Is that a Grootslang? That's an extremely rare monster. Did you summoned it?”

Asked Zanis whose hands were covered in blood. If you behind you would see the slaughtered remains of dozens of masked men.

“Yeah. I normally can't summon monsters stronger than me, but I raised this one from she was a egg so she allowed me to do a blood pact with her.”

Zanis opened his mouth to say something, but he saw a light racing towards Lisa.

“Look out!”

He moved her out of the way and stand in front of her.”

*Boom!*

Zanis used his palm to block the light, but it was frozen solid.

“Zanis is are you okay?!”

“It's frozen down to the bone.”

Zanis grabbed Lisa and leaped back. A pillar of lightning devoured the spot they stood.

“Looks they're really trying to kill us.”

Zanis looked around and saw close to a hundred people surrounded them. Their [Classes] ranged from [S Class] to [SSS Class].

“It's not enough to kill me but it is enough to push me into a corner if I don't fight seriously.”

“*Whistle!* Come here, girl!”

The giant monster called Puu, leaped towards Lisa and wrapped around her to act as a shield.

Zanis walked past Lisa and her pet monster and confronted the pursuers.

“Let me apologize beforehand, Lisa.”

A dark reddish aura started seeping from his body, which frightened the men caused them to freeze in place.

“I'm going to have show you a brutal sight.”

“I don't mind.”

Lisa said with a smile.

Zanis smiled back and nodded.

“Then I won't hold back.”

The smile dropped from his face, and then-

“[I am the servant of the great demon king of hell; the lord of flies, the personification of sin. I am the seven disciple who spreads his terror across the world and preach his word.”

A loud buzzing sound suddenly reach everyone's ears. They looked up and saw something black coming from the east covering the whole sky.

It wasn't long before they could see what the black thing was.

“Flies?!”

Thousands of flies covered the entire country and block out the sun.

“[I am the seventh scripture in the book of Bael.]”

All the flies suddenly rushed down to the earth; more specifically, Zanis.

His body was glowed as the flies devoured and meld with his body. After a few seconds, the flies all disappeared and left a demonic Zanis.

His skin was dark, his hair was long and red, his eyes were jet black with several red spots in them, which gave the image of red stars in the night sky. He was dressed in a dark red armor that looked like it was made of bones, and finally there was a pair of fly wings on his back with the number “7” inside a skull on them.

“[Servant Of The Fly].”

With those words, Zanis completed his spell and transformation.

He swept his eyes over the men once more and smiled.

“Let's go!”

He threw a punch without waiting for the men respond.

*Boom!*

The men were blown away along with the buildings.

The fly wings flapped and Zanis shot towards the sky.

He appeared in front of a man that was blown away and swung his hand downwards.

*Bam!*

The man's body burst like a balloon and his blood splattered everywhere.

“Shit!”

Several man rushed towards Zanis wielding giant swords.

Zanis shattered one sword with his fist. He then spun around with a kick and split a man in two from the sides. His wings then glowed and fired lasers blowing a few men into pieces.

He then felt the ground burst open and a giant worm-like creature devoured him whole.

The men didn't even had time to sigh in relief, before a hand burst out the worm and ripped a man's head off.

“[Magma Wave]!”

With a shout a downpour of lava fell from the sky and devoured the worm Zanis was inside whole.

A giant golem then swung down its club on the same spot.

“Puu!”

At Lisa's command the Grootslang Puu rammed the golem with its body.

The golem fell on its side and shook the town.

“You damn monster!”

A man jumped and punched the monster and sent it flying.

“Grabbed her!”

The man screamed, and dozens of men rushed towards Lisa.

“Try me!”

Two white orbs formed in Lisa's palms. She jumped and threw them.

The orbs attached themselves to each other and began spinning. They then grew as large as a house and collided with the men.

*BOOM!*

The orbs exploded and blew up the entire town and killed several of the men.

The stronger ones remained unfazed and rushed towards Lisa.

“Don't touch her!”

*Boom!*

Two giant jet black feet fell from the sky and stomped dozens of the men into the ground and burst open the earth.

Zanis flew in front of Lisa and hid her behind him.

“Cover your ears!”

She immediately did what he said.

Zanis then opened his mouth and released a hellish screech.

Dozens of the men immediately fell to their knees and held their heads.

Several of them screamed out in agony as their heads started exploding one after the other.

“D-Damn it!”

However some the stronger ones gritted their teeth and got to their feet. They started to take unsteady steps towards Zanis and Lisa when-

“Roar!”

Puu came out of nowhere and rammed into them. The weight of her charge crushed several of the men, while she sent the rest flying.

“You annoying beast!”

The man that punched her away faced Puu once again.

“Die already!”

*Bam!*

He punched Puu again.

“Roar!”

But this time Puu withstood it and used its trunk to swat him away. He flew several hundred meters before crushed through a partially destroyed building.

“T-That little…!”

The building exploded and the man flew towards Puu. Puu charged at him and two clashed.

The man kicked Puu across the face. Puu stomped him under her leg. The man used all of his strength to prevent himself from being squashed, and lifted Puu off the ground by his leg.

He then started to spin while lifting Puu and threw her like he was doing a hammer throw. Puu flew so far that it looked like she disappeared into the sky.

“F-Finally.”

“Good work. You fought so hard.”

“?!”

Zanis put his hand on the man's exposed back and smiled at him.

“He's your reward. [Bloom]!”

*Splat!*

The man's body suddenly burst apart and a giant black rose was left in his place.

Zanis then looked back at the surviving men and stretched out his palm.

“[Despair Garden].”

*Splat!* *Splat!* *Splat!* *Splat!* *Splat!* *Splat!* *Splat!* *Splat!* *Splat!* *Splat!*

Countless bodies bursts and giant roses took their place, as blood poured down on them as if to nurture their growth.

“Zanis, get on!”

Lisa rode up to Zanis on her Apollo Series Chariot. Zanis got on the back, the bike immediately sped through the now destroyed town.

“What about your pet?”

“I sent her back. She'll appear when I call her again.”

Lisa answered.

“By the way, why haven't you transformed back to normal?”

“The guys before were sacrificial pawns to wear us down. There should be more soon. After that the real hunters will make an appearance. I can't afford to relax yet.”

“I see. Then I'll take us somewhere with fewer people. Too many bystanders died just now.”

“I'll leave that to you…..Hm?”

Zanis suddenly noticed that there was a huge shadow that was slowly covering the land.

He looked up and saw a black dot in the sky.

“What the?”

He stared at it for a while and watched as the black dot enlarged.

“Wait….You have to be kidding me!”

“What's happening?!”

“Don't look back! Ride as fast as you can! We need to get out of this country now!”

“Tell me what's happening, Zanis!”

Zanis watched as it fell towards them, and spoke solemnly.

“A mountain! They're dropping a mountain out of the sky!”

Lisa immediately looked up and saw a mountain that stretched for at least a hundred miles falling towards them from an unbelievable height.

“The Fuck?!”

As she cursed, Lisa poured more magic into the chariot and switch to sky mode.

It was like bike became a comet as it cut through the air. However if the bike was a comet, the mountain was a meteor. It even though it was slower, it gave an oppressing pressure.

The moment they left the country's borders, the huge mountain crushed into the earth.

*BOOOOOOOM!*

An explosion so loud that Zanis's brain rattled, spread across the country. The shockwaves emitted from collision hit the Chariot out of the sky and it crashed into the earth.

After rolling and bouncing several times, the two forced themselves to sit up and saw a large dust cloud in the distance. They instinctively knew that a country was just erased from existence.

“To think that they would go this far.”

Lisa spoke with a pale face.

Zanis opened his mouth to say something, but before he could something fell from the sky.

The sudden fall caused a lot of dust to blow up so they couldn't immediately see what had fallen.

“Seriously, I have to put in this much effort to capture a little runaway.”

That's when an aged voice reach their ears.

A person stepped out of the dust and showed themselves.

“Miss Lisa, you've had your fun. It's time to go home.”

It was a man with an elderly face, and a full head of white hair. He was dressed like an old fashioned butler, with the exception of sword on his waist.

“Jeffrey?!”

Lisa called his name with a pale face.

“Were you the one who destroyed that country? Isn't that overdoing it?!”

Jeffrey looked at Lisa with a stern expression and spoke.

“Not at all. The elders gave me full authority on how to wield my power, and I determined that this level of force was needed to corner you.”

Jeffrey spoke with a matter of fact tone without pause.

“Countries raise and fall on a daily basis in this war driven world. So me destroying this country is no different from completely a chore. There's no need to think too much about it.”

“You...i never liked that about you.”

“Is that so? I'll revised my behavior when we return.”

He ignored Zanis and approached Lisa. But he was never able to touch her.

*Bam!*

A backhand from Zanis sent him flying.

“Don't touch her.”

He said coldly.

“My apologies.”

Jeffrey nonchalantly stood up and dusted the dirt off his clothes.

“As a fellow [X Class] it was rude of me to ignore your presence.”

Jeffrey waved his hand.

*Bam!*

A dent appeared on the chest area of Zanis's bone armor.

“Cough!”

He suddenly felt like he was hit by a truck in the chest, and the air escaped his lungs.

“There, that makes us even.”

Hearing Jeffrey's casual tone, Zanis couldn't help but smiled.

“I guess you're right.”

He then turned to Lisa and said-

“Use your dimensional cube and go into hiding. This isn't a fight you can survive.”

“…Will you be okay? Jeffrey is pretty strong, you know?”

Zanis smiled at her.

“Don't worry. I'm the 7th Scripture for a reason.”

Lisa nodded and took out her cube.

“Don't you dare die and leave me alone.”

Saying that, she squeezed cube and was drawn inside it.

Zanis took and put it into a black hole that appeared beside of him.

“Don't worry. I won't die before you.”

When cube disappeared, he turned back and faced Jeffrey.

“As you can see, Lisa is now in my care. So you'll have to beat me to get her.”

A cruel smile which he's never shown Lisa surfaced on his face.

“Are you up for the task, Old Man?”

Jeffrey simply sighed and said-

“Why are the young always so eager to die?”
