The first couple months of Miko's rule went smoothly.

After he put the aristocrats and the crime world on a leash with overwhelming cruelty and strength, he eliminated the two most common factors that caused an unstable country.

The reconstruction of the Lower Class District had already been completed using the wealth of the slain noble families.

It now looked less like a slum and more like a proper community.

The people were ordered to discard their medieval clothing and don modern clothing, since Miko thought it was stupid to wear those clothing in this era.

For starters, he gave each person 7 sets of clothing. He also created his own clothing line that sells these clothes for a reasonable price.

This caused a bit of a conflict with the previous clothing retailers. But after the most troublesome ones mysteriously disappeared, so did the problem.

The reconstruction of Lower Class District made a lot of people’s lives a lot more comfortable, and there were less people on the streets.

For now it's considered a success.

As for the expansion of the capital, that is something that won't be finished for a while but it's still on track.

And as for the farms, they're now able to produce for majority of the kingdom without the need to import.

And then there was the Royal Underworld Association. It was being handling quite well. More and more criminals realized the benefit of joining the guild, and came to register.

First, the guild indirectly advertises your expertise and finds new customers for you.

The customer will remain anonymous even to the person they're hiring, so no one had to worry about being arrested for hiring a hitman.

As long as they don't break the RUA’s rules and guidelines the criminals won't be arrested while on the job.

However, if you're arrested or killed off the job, there's nothing you can do.

So although they were registered with kingdom, they weren't immune to the law. Their chances of be arrested have just lowered slightly.

But for people in the underworld this was enough.

Also there are rules to bars persons registered with the association to do side jobs not provided by them.

If you do side jobs there's a high chance that you will be arrested and/or killed.

Rapist will be killed on spot. Same for drug dealers and human traffickers.

To prove that he wasn't joking about this, Miko killed all of the known rapists, by hanging them by their tongues over a pit of rabid beasts high on aphrodisiac.

The end result could be imagined.

So Miko who was the king of kingdom, both in the day and night, had strong hold on crime in the kingdom.

This cause the crime rate to drop.

As for the reconstruction of the military, Leon was in charge of that.

As the man who killed the previous military leader, General Han, there was no one who objected to his appointment.

Ace and Sora were in-charged of recruitment and training of the guards. They were like the chief of police.

They actually did a good job recruiting people to join the military. Miko was not clear on how they did it, but they were able to recruit nearly 5000 people in the last two months.

This amazed him.

So everything in the kingdom was running smoothly.

All except one thing.

“We're broke.”

Miko said as he looked at what he had left in the budget.

“We're not broke. We still have funds left.”

Said Hina who was also with him.

“That's too little. At this rate we'll be broke in a year.”

He rested his head in his hand.

“We need a way to generate funds and fast.”

“If you need funds the quickest way is to steal it from other countries.”

Said Tiamat.

“Our military strength aren't there yet. Besides, I already have plans in motion concerning conquering the other countries.”

Miko replied with a bored expression.

“Young Master.”

A Primus servant appeared out of the shadows and kneeled before Miko.

“What is it?”

“The Lord wishes to see you to discuss about your monetary problems.”

“……The old dog was listening, huh?”

Miko got up from his seat.

“Tell him I'm coming.”

“Yes.”

The servant disappeared after that.

After he left the room Miko went to the door that served as a portal to both the Primus and Secundus worlds.

After entering the Primus World Miko flew towards the Xia palace where he met with Momo at the entrance.

“The old man said that he wanted take about my money problem? Do you know what he's going say?”

He asked.

“No, but considering that it's him I'm sure it won't be anything simple.”

“…..You couldn't be more right about that.”

Two then went to meet Nero, who was on his throne like always.

“You came.”

“Yeah. So are you going to give me some money?”

Nero shook his head.

“We're kinda tight on money ourselves. We still have yet to recover from Krow’s rebellion yet. We need money to raise new warriors to fight for us.”

“Then what are you going to do to help me out?”

“I'll give you an opportunity.”

Nero smiled.

“An opportunity to obtain a great sum of money in a short time.”

“Sounds fishy. You're not going to tell me to dress up in a dress and entertain some pervert are you?”

“…….You know you should trust your grandfather every once in a while.”

“I trust you. I trust you to set me up in a situation that would be entertaining to you.”

“Do you want the opportunity or not?”

“I'll take it after I hear what it is.”

Nero sighed.

“Miko, how much do you know about Magic Stones?”

“Magic Stone? Not much, only that it's used primarily in alchemy and weapon forgery.”

“It can also be used to replenish ones magic after they use it up.”

Momo added.

“That's right. Magic Stones have countless uses. They're used as a power source in vehicles and other machinery. If boiled with the right herbs it can create an amazing miracle elixir that can heal even the most fatal wounds. If you bathe in this elixir it will slowly strengthen your body. It's used as the core of most magic weapons. You can drew out the magic residue inside it to replenish your strength, and you can even use it to store magic power for emergencies. The uses are endless.”

“Sounds like an amazing Stone.”

“It is. And as you would expect, it was very expensive and was in high demand.”

“So what? You want me to buy and sell Magic Stones?”

Nero shook his head.

“A few days ago our people discovered an untouched location that had a great quantity of Magic Stone Ores.”

“Oh? How great?”

“Its estimated to be worth 50,000 Paper Notes.”

“That's 50 million gold pieces!”

“And that's only the rough estimate. I believe it could worth even more.”

Miko suddenly found his mouth watering.

“You're not screwing with me, are you old man?”

Nero laughed.

“No, I'm serious.”

“Then what's the catch? I doubt you'll just give this to me.”

“Of course, I'm not just going to give you.”

He smirked.

“You have to steal it yourself, for the kingdom.”

“Steal it?”

“That's right. Someone already claimed this mine for themselves. However, they're trying to keep it a secret. But unfortunately it was discovered by us.”

“Where is the mine and who discovered it?”

“It's located in the ancient runes of a kingdom located at northern tip of the continent. Around 20,000 miles away from here.”

“That's far…..Who controls it now?”

“A small kingdom called the Vox Kingdom. They probably discovered it by accident, and wanted to keep a secret from the bigger kingdoms until they harvest all of the ores.”

“And you want me to take it for myself?”

“That's right.”

“Why? The Primus branch should be able to easily take this mine from them.”

“You’re right. But doesn't the kingdom needs it more than us. We just ask for half of the ores since we discovered it.”

Miko looked at Nero with a skeptical gaze, as if trying to figure out what he's planning.

That's when a light flashed and Tiamat appeared.

“Take the deal, Miko.”

She looked at Nero.

“Nero wouldn't dare try to trick his adorable grandmother, right?”

“Of course, grandmother. I just wanted to see the empire Miko envisions. I just wanted to hurry up the process even a little. I have no other intentions.”

Nero spoke with an earnest tone.

Tiamat looked at him for a while before nodding.

“He isn't trying to trick you. Take the deal.”

“…..If you say so.”

“You know, it kinda hurts how little you trust me.”

Nero put on an expression as if he was wronged.

It disgusted Miko to see his own face with such a expression.

“I can choose when I'll leave and who will accompany me, right?”

“Of course. You can choose even me or Kimiko if you want. After all, your life is far more important than a few Magic Stones. You'll need the proper protection.”

Miko smiled when he heard that.

“Then I'll hold you by your word.”

“Oh? You want me to come?”

“No.”

“Then Kimiko? Or could it be junior?”

“Neither.”

Miko smiled mischievously and said-

“I want to bring Ravel.”

“?!”

Nero's face was covered in shock when he heard that.

“My sister? Why?”

“Because Ravel is strong. But more importantly, I promised her that I would take her out every now and again.”

“T-That...Ravel cannot go. It would be too risky.”

“Don't worry, Nero. I'll be there so she won't lose control.”

Tiamat proudly said.

“……Fine. Since grandma will be there then it should be fine.”

Nero sighed in resignation.

“Who else do you want to bring?”

“Momo.”

“Okay.”

“Hell yeah! I finally get to leave this country!”

Momo shouted excitedly.

This will be first time she will leave the country.

Because of the stuff with her father and brother killing the previous Primus leader, and her mother being banished, Nero barred her from leaving the country because he believed that someone would take that chance to assassination her.

But with all those who were hostile towards her dead, she can go where she pleases. That's as long as the clan knows about it first, and she has someone accompanying her.

The chance of her father making contact with her when she's outside the country, isn't low.

“Anyone else?”

“Raven.”

“Raven? Why?”

“Because we don't know what could happen. I need Gallu to be near me so that I can fuse with her in an emergency.”

Thanks to Miko's [Primordial Chaos Lord] he can fuse with Tiamat's creations and gain a massive strength boast.

This applies to Higher Beings like Bašmu and Gallu as well.

Because of this Miko was practically invincible if he remains in Dragna kingdom, which was filled with Tiamat's creations.

He can just fuse with both Guardian beasts and repel even the average [XXX Class].

If in the future all 11 of Tiamat's supreme monsters return to the kingdom, Miko would truly be unbeatable as long as his body can handle the pressure from fusing.

But what if he's outside the country and far away from Tiamat's creation?

He’ll have to use his own strength to repel the enemy.

That's why he need Raven and Gallu around so that such a situation won't happen.

“Hmm…Sounds reasonable.”

Nero immediately realizes this.

“So when do you leave?”

Miko smiled and said-

“Today.”
