After learning of a way to solve his money problem, Miko started preparing for his trip to the northern end of the continent.

Other than the times Ravel brought them to the Beast Continent, Miko has never left the kingdom in his 13 years of life. So he was eager to leave.

The first thing he did was to visit Ravel with Momo and Tiamat.

Nero told them that she was with Falcon learning how to better control her powers.

So they headed towards the fields where they were.

“Miko, grandma, Momo!”

When Ravel saw them, she ran towards them.

“What's up, Ravel? Sorry I was too busy to pay you a visit these last couple of months.”

“It's okay. I know that you're busy being king and all.”

She said with a cute smile.

Falcon approached them and kneeled in front of Tiamat.

“Matriarch, its good to see you again.”

“You're too serious, just call me grandma.”

Falcon shook his head.

“I wasn't able to protect our family in my father’s stead. Not only that, I unjustly butchered family members all in order to quell my anger. I don't have the right to address you in such an intimate manner.”

“Man, you're stifling….”

Said Tiamat.

“Look, all is forgiven. Anyone would lose it after witnessing what horrible thing that was done to their mother. Besides, it happened years ago.”

“For you it's been years, but for me it was just a few months ago at most.”

Since his time was frozen, Falcon experience a 10,000 year leap in a blink of an eye. So what seems like ancient story to others, remains quite fresh in his mind.

Tiamat sighed and stooped down in front of him.

“Look, do you want Ravel to have a mental breakdown?”

“…..Meaning?”

“Ravel’s memory of the incident was erased to preserve her sanity. Do you want to remind her of her mother’s horrible fate? Are you such a heartless brother to kick his sister into the pit of despair?”

“……I'm sorry. I won't mention it again.”

“Good. Then stand up and face me as a grandparent who is glad to see her eldest grandchild after all these years.”

Tiamat stood up, and so did Falcon.

Meanwhile Miko and Ravel were having their own conversation.

“You're taking me out of the country?!”

“That's right. I promise you that I would take out some places didn't I.”

“Yay! I get to go out!”

She suddenly lifted Miko off the ground and threw up in the air.

“Thank you, Miko!”

She threw him at least 100m in the air, before catching him with ease.

“So that's how it is, Falcon. We’re going to borrow Ravel for a bit.”

Said Tiamat.

“No problem. As long as you're with her, I have nothing to worry about.”

“I see.”

She then looked around.

“Where are Verde and Chika?”

“They're in the Illusionary Beast Valley. They've been in there for the last couple months. They said that they'll spend at least a year before coming out.”

“Oh. That's interesting.”

“Tia, lets go. Raven is going to meet us at the border.”

Said Miko.

“Alright.”

She then pat Falcon on the head.

“You shouldn't be so hard on yourself. Take some time and relax. I assure you that the time will come for you avenge Emily.”

He nodded.

She then smiled at him one last time and turned around and follow after Miko.

After they left the Primus World through the monument in the lake, they flew to the eastern border.

There they met with Raven and Gallu.

“Auntie Raven!”

Ravel was the first to greet them.

“Hello, Ravel.”

Raven greeted her with a smile.

“Mother.”

Gallu smilingly greeted Tiamat.

“Did Nero tell you the location of the mine?”

She asked.

“Yes. Raven will teleport us there.”

Said Gallu.

“I still preferred that we walked and enjoy the countries as we past.”

Said Momo.

“That would take too long. The kingdom can't have the king away so long, and the Primus branch won't be able to leave the Primus World without Gallu and Tia.”

Miko reminded her.

“I know that. I just wanted to see more of the world.”

“You'll get the chance, eventually.”

Said Raven.

He then scanned over everyone's face, as if taking attendance.

“Okay. Let's go.”

The moment he said that, they were devoured by light and disappeared.

Just like the times he teleported with Ravel, Miko found himself traveling through a kaleidoscope-like tunnel.

Before he knew it, he appeared in a woodland area.

“We're here?”

“Yeah, it should be somewhere around this area.”

Raven replied.

“I'll go ahead a scout.”

Momo said.

She mumbled something and was then covered in light.

When the light faded, only a small bird was left in her place.

“I'll be right back.”

Momo’s voice came out of the birds mouth, indicating that she was the bird.

She flew up in air and soon moved out of a range Miko could detect.

“For the meantime we’ll also walk around and search for signs of settlements. If we find these signs, they should lead us to the miners.”

Said Raven.

They did as he said and began looking around.

“But I gotta say, this area feels a bit familiar.”

Miko said, as he looked around.

“You too? Maybe it's just my emotions that are making you feel that way?”

“…..It isn't impossible.”

Tiamat looked at Gallu.

“What about you Gallu? Does this area look familiar?”

Gallu shook her head.

“I don't feel any special feeling coming from this area. It seems like a normal forest to me.”

“What was this area called?”

Miko asked.

“The Black Forrest kingdom. It's named after the forest of black trees that used to surround the kingdom.”

“That's it! The Black Forrest Kingdom! I remember now.”

Tiamat suddenly said.

“This kingdom used to be a bustling human kingdom during the war. It was famous for its fertile lands that could grow any crop in half the time.”

“Oh. It must've been because of the huge amount Magic Stone Ores that caused the land to have such an effect.”

Said Miko.

“So what happened to the kingdom in the end?”

“Augustus destroyed it.”

Tiamat answered.

“He destroyed it? Why?”

“They were worshippers of Zeus, and they tried to label him and the kingdom as heathens. He and Zeus already had a poor relationship. So he destroyed it to piss Zeus off.”

“Worshippers of Zeus, huh?”

Miko remembered Augustus telling him that he and Zeus really hated each other. But he wondered if he had another reason to destroy this place.

Miko once again looked around.

“....He did it for the Grand Magic Stone, so that he could use it to create Vastator.”

Miko mumbled to himself absentmindedly.

This statement was suddenly registered as a well-known fact in his mind, so he didn't find it strange.

This was the same for him being able to use Vastator, and him knowing about Ajax.

Without him realizing his perception was changing.

He didn't realize that he himself was continuously changing.

“I found them!”

While he was in a daze Momo reappeared in her bird form and announced.

“How many are there?”

He asked.

“Close to 50.”

“What's their Class?”

“There are three people over [X Class]. The strongest is [XX Class]. The others ranges from [B Class] to [SSS Class].”

She reported.

“Hmm….that's quite a force.”

Said Raven.

“So what are we going to do? Should we killed them all and take the mine? Or should we try to negotiate?”

“…….”

A moment of silence came over them. And then-

“Hahahahahaha!”

They all started laughing.

“O-Okay. Haha. Kill them all it is.”

Everyone nodded in agreement.

“Momo, lead the way.”

“Okay, follow me!”

Saying that, Momo flew towards the east.

They all quickly yet quietly followed her.

After 10 minutes of moving, Miko saw a site coming into view.

He saw a lot of people operating machinery of all sizes.

They sensed that the other party had used a radar spell, and stopped just outside their detection zone. Momo could enter because she was in bird form, and also a master of spells.

“Looks they chose to stick to machines to harvest the Ores. They probably did it to prevent others from detecting them.”

Said Raven.

“Okay, I'll go a head.”

Miko activated [Stealth-Camouflage] and walked towards the men.

He didn't have to worry about a Qi master detecting him, since Qi users were extremely rare. So a small country like this one shouldn't have one.

The only reason Miko was exposed to so many Qi masters was because the Dragna clan was a clan of Qi users.

Outside of the kingdom, the chances of him running a Qi user was extremely slim.

Miko approached the men who were giving out the orders and listened to their conversation.

“Hurry up! Work faster! We got word that the Aloe Kingdom is getting suspicious! We need to hurry and take at least half of the Ores!”

“Aloe kingdom?”

Miko couldn't help to smirk when he heard this name.

“My lord, we're moving as fast as we can, but the Magic Stones are really hard. It takes time to dig up with our current tools.”

A worker shouted.

“Shut up and make it work! We’ve been here for months and we've only harvest 30% of Ores. No matter what that is too slow!”

“30%?”

Miko looked around and saw some small containers neatly stacked in a corner near the cave.

“Those are spatial containers. If I remember correctly, they can hold up to 20 yards of space. They’re around a dozen boxes. Assuming that they're all full, that's 240 yards of Magic Stones. If that's 30% of the overall amount, then roughly 560 yards of Magic Stones should be left. That's means there's a total of 800 yards worth of Magic Stones. And that's just the amount of space it takes up, If i include the possible mass of all of these stones…..then it really might surpass 50 million gold pieces.”

Miko focused on his link Tiamat.

‘We're rich! No, I mean attack!’

Tiamat chuckled when she heard his message.

She then signaled that it was okay to attack.

“Alright.”

Momo turned back into her human form, but this time as an adult.

“?!”

The moment she did that an alarm rung off.

The workers all looked and saw her floating in the sky.

“People of the Vox Kingdom, this mine now belongs to the Dragna Kingdom! Resistance is futile!”

“Fuck off! You think a single [SS Class] can take this mine from our kingdom?!”

One of the [X Class] men shouted.

“Who said she was alone?”

“?!”

The same man who shouted at Momo, heard a voice coming from behind him.

*Boom!*

He couldn't even get to turn around before his body burst into two.

Miko who had already used [Primordial Chaos Lord] to fuse with Gallu, had instantly killed him with a single wave of his hand.

“Wha?!”

When the other men who were in charge saw that, they were shocked.

“A-Attack! We’re under attack!”

One of them shouted.

“Damn you!”

The man who was the strongest rushed towards Miko.

“Whoa, hold up.”

But he was suddenly stomped into the ground before he could reach Miko.

Raven who was standing on him, looked down at him.

“We can't have you harming the King, now can we.”

“K-King?”

The man forced his head up and stared at Miko with shock.

“Heavenly Demon King Miko?!”

“Oh? Am I already that popular that even the nickname the people gave me are known by you?”

He stooped down.

“Or could it be that your kingdom has spies in my country?”

His eyes were cold as he looked at him.

“We might need to bring you back and introduce you to our new ‘Information Collection Team’.”

He then showed an innocent smile.

“I'm sure you'll be happy to tell us everything you know.”

“Die!”

The other man swung down an axe at Miko's head.

*Boom!*

However his body suddenly exploded and turned into red mist.

“Don't touch Miko.”

Said Ravel, with her hand raised.

When the workers saw two of their leaders killed and one captured, they all started to panic.

“Ravel, you and Momo can play with those men.”

Tiamat walked up to her and said.

Ravel nodded.

She and Momo then proceed to slaughter the other 50 men.

Momo handled everyone under SS Class while Ravel played with the rest.

Tiamat then took out a small metallic bottle container, and threw it over the cave.

The bottle paused in the air, and released a gold light.

The light scanned over the cave and everything near it.

It then started lighting up.

Seeing that, Raven kicked the man into the cave.

Immediately after, the cave and ground seemed to turn into liquid as it was sucked into the bottle without leaving a trace.

The bottle then fell in front of the gigantic crater that was left where the cave once was.

“Damn, it actually sucked in the entire mine. Even the man. This military organization called MYTH is too scary.”

Said Tiamat as she picked up the bottle.

“Monkey King Series: Gourd. It's based on the gourd Sun Wukong would used to trap demons. It was really expensive.”

Said Raven.

At this moment, Gallu unfused with Miko and appeared beside Raven.

“Now that we successfully stole the mine and even got an informant, lets go back.”

Said Miko.

Everyone gathered, and Raven teleported them all back to the kingdom with over 50 million gold pieces worth of Magic Stone.

This ended the kingdom's monetary problems, and Miko could now advance with his plans to develop the kingdom.
