The disbandment of D’arc caused a lot of waves in the 11th District and the city on a whole.

Crime rate rose to an all-time hifh because of the new territory that was up for grabs. This caused organizations like Silver Crow to have their hands full.

As for the one who caused it, he was sleeping peacefully in bed even though it was long past noon.

*Knock!* *Knock!*

Suddenly a knock came from the front door.

Miko opened his eyes when he heard it.

“Ishma, go check who's at the door.”

He said with a sleepy voice.

“……..”

Ishma didn't respond to him and simply turned over on her bed and turned her back to him.

Miko clicked his tongue and then turned to Regis.

What he saw was a Do Not Disturb sign in front of her.

“……..”

Miko laid there for awhile and wondered where the hell did she get that sign.

He heard the knock again.

After thinking about the pros and cons of getting up and opening the door Miko-

Also turned his back to the door.

*Bam!*

That's when he heard a loud explosion coming from the door way.

“The fuck?!”

He and the girls flew out of their beds and entered full alert.

They were prepared to attack, when they heard a cheerful voice.

“Good morning, Miko!”

It was then the figure of a silver haired girl came into view.

It was Bloom.

When Miko saw her, he didn't drop his guard but he loosen his body up a bit.

“Insolent woman! How dare you disturb my sleep!”

Ishma shouted angrily.

“Oh, what a cute kid!”

However, it seemed that Bloom was thick-skinned, because she ran up and hugged Ishma.

“W-Wha?! Put me down, you bitch!”

Ishma struggled in Bloom’s hands but for some reason it felt like her limbs were being weighed down; thus prevent her from cutting Bloom up.

“So cute! You must be one of Miko's swords!”

“Who the hell are you calling cute?!”

Ishma roared.

“I'm going to cut you into a million-”

“Here I brought some candy.”

Bloom tactful drew some chocolate bars from her pocket and gave it Ishma.

“Oh!”

Ishma eyes sparkled when she saw it.

She quickly took the chocolate bars and started eating them with a docile expression.

She had completely been tamed.

“…….”

Miko didn't know what to say about this.

“A cat. She's definitely more like a cat rather than a crow.”

Regis commented with a sigh.

Bloom had a satisfied expression as she pet Ishma.

“What do you want?”

Miko asked.

“I just wanted to say hello.”

Miko glared at her.

“Ok I was lying. I'm just here to complain.”

Bloom said with a mischievous tone.

“Because of you, I'm swarming with work and had to take the day off from the academy again.”

“The academy?”

Miko heard something that he found intriguing.

He would be lying if he said he wasn't interested in what a magic academy was like, but he still didn't have the motivation to go.

Since Bloom attended the academy, he could get information from her.

But there was something he needed to know first.

“How did you find me?”

He needed to know how his location was discovered.

“It wasn't hard. I just needed to check the video feeds of the surveillance satellite and viola.”

“Satellite? I see, so there's an invisible satellite observing the city. I guess avoiding the cameras weren't enough.”

Miko didn't find it odd for a place with technology as advance as this to have a few satellites with a camouflage system.

He even considered it once, but the people he ‘asked’ had no knowledge of one so he put it at the back of his mind for a while.

The fact that Bloom knew about the satellite and even had access to it meant that she possessed quite a bit of authority in the city.

“Was the satellite built by MYTH?”

Bloom nodded.

“It's called the Uranus Series Observation Satellites. It's hard to detect and is very powerful.”

“I see.”

Miko pondered it for a while before saying-

“So what is it that you really want? The fact that you easily revealed classified information to me, means that you expect something in return. What is it?”

Bloom chuckled.

“It wasnt really classified information you know. It's just some you would know if you had the right connections.”

Miko glared at her.

Bloom didn't mind it and kept her smile.

“Alright, I want something from you.”

“And that is?”

“You.”

“….Just to clarify, you don't mean sexually right? Because trust me, if that's the case I'm more than willing to grant your request. Hell, I'm willing to go right now.”

Miko said with a straight face.

Bloom on the other hand was visibly flushed from embarrassment.

Even though she knew what her words could imply, she only did it to tease Miko. She didn't expect him to easily turn it around to tease her back.

Miko swiftly approached her.

“You, you're a virgin aren't you?”

“?!”

Bloom became visibly more flustered. She tried to step back but Miko placed his hand on her waist and stopped her.

Miko looked into her eyes with a strong gaze filled with passion.

“If you want me I'm willing to give myself to you.”

He moved his face closer to her ears, and spoke softly into it.

“But in return, I want your everything. Your soul. Your heart. Your body.”

“Hold it!”

A yell came from the doorway.

Miko looked and saw that it was Sapphire.

She hurriedly pushed Miko away from Bloom and stood between them as if to hide Bloom behind her.

Miko who saw that-

“What? You want to join as well? If that's the case I'm up for a threesome.”

“Y-You…Don't you have any modesty.”

“Says the woman who appeared naked in my bathroom when we first met.”

“I was wearing a towel! I only strip because you threatened me!”

“Hey, don't play the victim. You wanted to seduce a naïve boy into joining your cult.”

“Its an academy!”

“Cult, school; I don't see the difference.”

Miko pointed at her.

“Besides if I didn't tease that girl, you wouldn't come out from hiding. Just because you're using that helmet that makes you invisible doesn't mean that I can't sense you with Qi.”

Sapphire flinched when she heard that Miko knew that she was there from the beginning.

“It was also fun to tease a girl who's trying to act like a vixen when she herself is pure. You're 100 years too early to seduce me, who is used to seeing beautiful women everyday.”

“You yourself is more beautiful than most women….Ow!”

Miko chopped Regis, who made such a comment, with full force.

“Anyway, I know your type. Strong on the offensive but weak on the defenses.”

Miko showed Bloom a teasing smile, which made her blood boil.

“So? What do you two want? If it's about throwing you out the window, it couldn't be helped at the time.”

“Apologize, damn it!”

Sapphire shouted, but Miko ignored her and looked at Bloom.

He was 100% serious about everything he said to her.

She looked too much like his past lover, that he had a lot of complex feelings towards her.

Part of him wanted to eliminate her to prevent his mind from relapsing, but after thinking it through killing her would more likely cause him to relapse than letting her live.

He also had a high amount of lust towards her.

It was almost on the level of his lust towards Tiamat.

So while it was hard for her to seduce him, it wasn't impossible. And he knew this quite clearly.

Bloom looked at him with an angry glare for a while and then calm down.

“I came here to ask if you wanted to join us.”

Miko was visibly surprised to hear that.

He was considering recruiting them when it was time to leave this place, but he never thought that they would try and recruit him first. This was truly an unexpected turn of events.

However, he had to decline.

“No can do. As you already know I am a king, I can't just abandon my people.”

“Aren't you doing that now?”

Bloom asked with a skeptic tone.

“That's different. I'm only here to accomplish something.”

“Which is?”

Miko shook his head as indicting his intent of not talking.

Bloom frowned for a bit, and then smiled.

“You don't seem to understand your situation, Your Majesty.”

“Oh? Please enlighten me of the situation I'm in.”

“With pleasure.”

Bloom smile had a hint of teasing in it.

“Last night, you single-handedly caused the downfall of one of the biggest criminal organizations in the city. This is worthy of praise despite all the work it created for us.”

She didn't forget to complain.

“But that wasn't the only thing you did last night that drew a lot of attention.”

At this moment the chocolate that Ishma was tamed with had finished, so she regained her rebellious attitude and broke free from Bloom’s grasp while she was distracted.

Bloom didn't pay it any mind and continued.

“Last night you took out Kei Hanazawa.”

“Was there someone like that?”

Miko acted like he didn't know who she was talking about. He was so convincing that you would think he really didn't knew.

“Yes, there was. And that person was the son of one of the Twin-Headed Dragon Syndicate’s top bosses and fighter.”

“And that is…?”

“It's the largest crime syndicate in the city. They have enough strength and influence to rival the Four Pillars that controls the city.”

“So?”

Bloom eyebrows furrowed when she heard Miko's casual tone.

“So, they'll definitely try to get even with you, who disgraced their name.”

“And?”

Bloom was starting to get irritated.

“And, you're currently alone in an unfamiliar city without any backing or protection. You're in a dangerous situation where you could lose your life at any moment.”

“Is that so?”

Miko still didn't look the bit shaken by what Bloom said, which irritated and confused her.

“How can you be so carefree about this?”

She asked.

“Because it's just the usual for me. I'm always in a disadvantageous position, it's nothing new.”

He said nonchalantly.

He then took a seat and looked at Bloom and spoke.

“Besides, compared to fighting in a war with over a million enemies pit against you with the fate of you and your family on the line, what's a single crime organization?”

He spoke with tone that made it clear that he wasn't joking.

Miko really didn't put the syndicate in his eyes.

He survived much worse and came out the winner every time. So what was the use of getting worked up over something so trivial.

“Then you're planning on taking on the syndicate yourself?”

Sapphire couldn't help but to ask.

Miko was technically still her responsibility after all. He was until he attends the academy.

“If I must then I will. I won't take it upon myself to hunt them down, when they'll most like approach me first. I'll repel them a few times, but if they continue to be a pain in the ass then I'll just destroy them and slaughter them all.”

He said with a matter of fact tone.

“I would advise against that, Miko.”

Said Sapphire.

“The syndicate has several strong guys and powerful weapons. Their top fighters are both [S Class] but if they use their weapons they're far more powerful. I don't know if you alone could handle them all.”

“What I can handle and cannot handle is up to me to decide. I appreciate the advise, but I won't hesitate to crush them if they come at me.”

Sapphire wanted to say more to persuade him, but she was stopped by Bloom.

“Alright, I understand. We won't try to stop you from going to war if the time comes.”

She took something from her pocket and threw at him.

Miko caught it and looked at it.

“It's a SC phone created specially for Silver Crow members.”

“Oh?”

Miko looked at the phone that was quite small a thin.

“Give us a call if you run into any trouble that you can't handle. Our boss might be lazy but not even the syndicate would go against him without thinking twice.”

Miko put the phone on the bed and smiled at Bloom.

“Thanks for the gesture. I'll sure to be in touch when I want to hear your voice again.”

He then looked at Sapphire.

“I'll be in touch if I feel the urge to see your naked appearance again.”

“Go to hell!”

Sapphire angrily and bashfully left the room.

Bloom smiled at Miko one last time before leaving as well.

“……..So, no ones going to fix my door?”

After they left Miko's apartment, Bloom made a call on her phone.

“Jin, I gave Miko the phone like you asked. Yeah, he's really set on crashing with the syndicate…..I understand. Sapphire and I will keep an eye on him. Yeah, later.”

After she hung up she and sapphire quickly made their way back to the 11th District.

Not far away someone was watching them closely.

It was a girl in a red and black track suit with cat-like eyes.

She turned her attention to the apartment they came out of, and smiled cruelly.

“Heavenly Demon King, huh?”

She licked her lips in a sadistic manner, and said-

“This is going to be fun.”
