Two days after Bloom and Sapphire’s visit, Miko took the girls on their nightly stroll through the city.

The purpose of these strolls were to originally collect information about the city through blending into its society, but that failed big time on the first night.

The first problem was that Miko was too eye catching. Everywhere he went he would draw the eyes of several men and women. This was obviously because of his godly beauty he got from Tiamat. This was emphasized with the addition of Regis who was identical to him, and Ishma who had an unique ambiguous beauty.

The second problem was Ishma’s short temper. She didn't like to be gazed at by men since she always lived her life as a male. Whenever she was looked at with lustful eyes, blood would flow.

Regis wasn't as bad, but she also had a bit of temper. Miko lost count of the amount of times he had to prevent them from slaughtering everyone.

Of course this all could have been avoided if Miko had used [Stealth Camouflage] when going out. But Miko didn't want to continuously waste Qi on doing something so pointless.

Because of all the troubles, they just go on strolls for the fun of it now. Miko decided to get information using other methods.

One of those methods was questioning the people Ishma and Regis beaten.

Tonight Miko and the girls were going to look for more people to question.

“Hm?”

That's when Miko realized that something didn't felt right about his surroundings.

“Everyone is avoiding looking at us?”

He noticed that they weren't drawing the usually attention they normally would. In fact it felt like they were being intentional avoided and singled out.

Ishma and Regis also noticed this and stopped along with Miko.

“Something isn't right.”

Said Ishma.

She was veteran fighter so she quickly readied herself to kill at any moment.

Regis did the same, but in a more discreet fashion.

Miko stood in place and used his senses to scan the area.

“We're surrounded.”

He said after a while.

“Everyone here is an enemy.”

The moment he said that, the people walking among them all came to a stop.

They all moved like one organism and surrounded the three of them in less than a second.

There men, women, young and old.

If Miko hadn't picked up on the odd vibe in the surroundings, he wouldn't have imagined that everyone around him was an enemy.

“There's about 500 in total. That's not counting those in hiding.”

He told the girls.

“Who do you think they are?”

Regis asked.

“They should be from the syndicate Bloom and Sapphire spoke about.”

“Hmph! So ants are swarming together to kill a giant. They have balls, I'll give them that.”

Said Ishma.

“Well, there's a possibility that they're under some kind of hypnosis.”

Miko looked at the people's unfocused eyes and said that.

“So what? Puppets or not, if they step in my path they'll be slaughtered.”

Said Ishma.

“I agree. But killing this many citizens could cause unnecessary trouble in the future.”

Said Regis.

“Then we can just beat them until they can't move.”

Said Miko.

“And if they still try to attack with broken bodies?”

“Kill them. It may cause future inconvenience, but it's better than us getting hurt.”

Miko said swiftly and coldly.

“Roger!”

At this time the first group of people moved towards them in an unnatural manner.

Miko watched as they all drew guns and fired at him.

He covered himself in Qi and shot forward. He watched the bullets with his eyes and skillfully moved out of the way.

He then quickly approached the people and kicked one in the face.

He then spun around and elbowed two of them and broke their noses.

He then gathered lightning in his palms and swung his arm; the lightning shot forward and electrocuted around a dozen people.

The weaker ones were frozen in place, but the stronger ones still attacked after a short lag.

“Fuck off!”

At this moment Ishma shot past and stomped one in the ground.

She then jumped and spun around with a kick. Her leg turned into a blade slashed the people apart.

Blades then rushed out her back and skewered the people who were attacking her from behind.

The blades retracted into her back.

She spread her arms out and blades shot out her palms and stabbed into around 10 persons and turned them into kebabs.

She obviously didn't choose to spare the people who were being controlled. She had every intention to kill them.

Miko quickly realized that what's done is done, and didnt retort her for her actions.

*Boom!*

He looked up and saw that building behind him had exploded.

Debris as big as trucks fell towards him. It was obvious that someone was trying to crush him, which he found laughable.

“Regis!”

“Yes!”

Regis jumped and her arm turned into a black blade.

She swung it and an arc of azure light wiped out the debris and even erased the rest of the building that exploded.

Regis then landed and swept her foot on the ground and form another arc.

Azure light then burst through the ground and rushed towards a group of people.

*Boom!*

All of the people were instantly destroyed by the azure light and left a crater in their place.

*Rumble!*

It was at this moment and a monster of a vehicle was seen rushing towards Regis. On it was someone who was behind a mounted gun.

The man fired the gun and dozens of magic bullets flew out by the second.

*Boom!*

The bullets ripped up the ground and burnt through the air as they headed towards Regis.

“Don't look down on me!”

An azure glowed covered Regis’ body. She slammed her palm on the ground.

*Boom!*

A gigantic dragon-shaped blade burst out of the ground and collided with the bullets.

The bullets bounced off the bladed dragon like rain on glass.

The bladed dragon then crashed into the monster vehicle and instantly destroyed it. The person who was behind the mounted gun was cut into paper thin slices.

Blades then spurted from Regis’ back in the form of dragon wings. She then used these wings to fly up into the sky.

“Die!”

She flapped her wings and azure slashes rained down from the sky and fell upon those below.

*Boom!*

The slashes cut up everything they came into contact with like it was butter; whether it was buildings or people, everything was cut up.

The blood of the people stained the ground, and reflected the artificial moon.

Meanwhile, Miko finally met some resistance.

*Boom!*

He was sent flying after blocking a punch from an elderly man.

Miko was surprised because the man was only a [C Class] but could attack with the force of an [A Class].

Tiamat warned in Miko's mind.

Ishma and Regis naturally heard the warning as well.

“Powersuits huh?”

Miko stared at the old man who eyes looked dulled and unnatural.

He rushed forward and the old man did the same.

Miko punches the old man away and then chased after him.

He slammed his palms on the old man's chest and a powerful burst of flames blew him back.

With his clothes burnt away Miko could see the silver suit with the word MYTH written on it.

He then created a lightning lance in his hands and threw it.

The lance pierced through the suit and into the old man's chest.

He fell on the ground, never to move again.

At this time around five more persons leaped at Miko.

He quickly deduced that these people were wearing powersuits as well.

Miko leaped back and gathered flames and lightning in his mouth.

*Boom!*

He then released the dragon’s breath and blew the five persons away.

He quickly spun around and caught a metal arrow that was aiming for his head.

The arrow was beeping.

“Shit.”

*Boom!*

The arrow exploded and Miko flew into a building.

At this time Ishma was cutting people's heads off with her sword arms.

A woman wearing a power suit leaped at her, swinging down a car.

Ishma transformed one of her arms back to normal and covered it with green aura.

“Piss off!”

She thrust her palm forward and blocked the car.

Green light then ran along the car in the form of lines and hit the woman.

*Boom!*

The car was split into five pieces as if it was cut. As for the woman, she was also cut into five pieces.

“How about this?!”

Ishma stomped the ground and a green circle with a black crow in the middle formed under her.

The circle quickly expanded and covered a kilometer circumference before disappearing.

The moment the circle disappeared, the ground, the buildings, the vehicles, the people, everything that was caught up in it, burst into slices.

Blood and concrete flew about in the air.

At this moment a burst of azure flames flew from the building Miko was in and roast the people who were close by.

He stepped out of the building and looked around at the mindless puppets around him.

He used it to form two pairs of arms and two heads. Each arm held a sword.

Azure flames covered each sword and illuminate the night with a beautiful blue light.

He then took a step forward and walked towards the crowd of enemies.

Some took out their magic weapons and opened fire.

Miko pace was undisturbed. His eyes turned draconic as he continued to calmly walk forward.

When bullets reached in front of him, he simple stepped out of the way and continued walking forward.

The bullets continuously rained down on him, but Miko smoothly dodged them with minimal movement.

From a far it looked like he was a ghost and bullets were just flying through him.

This is called [Phantom Step]. It's a technique that requires you to focus your senses to the utmost limit and dodge attacks with extreme minimal movements at a fast speed. This will make the user look like a specter that the attacks are flying through.

This technique was thought to Miko by Momo, who learnt it from Nero.

Miko continued to approach the people firing the guns like a ghost in the night.

It didn't take long for him to be only a few meters away from them.

He held all six burning swords in the air while still utilizing Phantom Step.

“[The Sixth Cycle Of Death…..]”

All swords started burning furiously like they were eager to burn the world.

“[Purification]!”

Miko's six arms swung in six different directions at a blinding speed.

Six azure arcs swept over the area and disappeared a moment later.

The flames on Miko's swords also extinguished.

Miko dropped his arms to his sides and then-

Bodies started bursting into flames like fireworks.

The buildings also started burning, and the cars started melting.

Azure flames covered the entire area from six different directions.

If one was to looked down from above, they would see the flames in the formation of a six petal flower with Miko standing in the middle.

With this move all of the remaining people were instantly burnt to a crisp with most of them eventually turnt into ashes.

Even the corpses that laid on the ground were engulfed in flames, and the blood that soaked the ground evaporated without a trace.

There was no evidence of the people who came here.

Regis landed beside Miko and retracted her bladed wings into her back.

“Looks like that's the last of them.”

She said with a sigh.

“You bastards!”

At this moment Ishma came out of the flames roaring.

Her attire was a mess.

“What happened to you?”

Regis asked.

“What happened to me? You bastards are what happened to me!”

She shouted.

She then pointed at Regis.

“You hit me with those slashes from your wings and cut me up!”

And then she pointed at Miko.

“And just when I thought I was safe, your flames nearly burnt me to a crisp!”

“You were there?”

Said Regis.

“Sorry, I didn't see you. Besides it's not like you'll die.”

“Shut up! It still hurts!”

Ishma roared angrily.

“That's enough you two. Let's get out of here before the authorities come.”

Miko chopped their heads and said.

“What about the bastard who caused this?”

Ishma asked while rubbing her head.

“They should be close, but I don't think that they'll show themselves tonight. If they wanted to then they would've a long time ago.”

Ishma wanted say more but she kept her mouth shut and followed behind Miko and Regis.

The three of them quickly vacated the area.

Not too far away, Sapphire sat down with a tablet in her hand watching everything.

“Looks like he didn't need any help…..”

She said as she stood up from the edge of the roof she was sitting at.

“First let's delete the footage so the Pillars won't see it.”

She operated the tablet and deleted the footage of the last hour from the satellites database.

She then made a call.

“Jin, we might have a problem.”

Not too far away from her, Nana looked at the results of her work.

“That guy seems like fun…..I've decided. I won't use anymore puppets this time.”

She held a silver instrument in her hand that said “MYTH Pied Piper Pipe” in her hands.

“I don't care if Pops gets mad, I'm going to enjoy myself.”

After saying that, she also left the area while laughing like a child.
