District 3.

Jin and Sapphire were riding through the night on an Apollo Series Silver Chariot bike.

They were heading towards a mansion that was located on the north side of the district.

Sapphire insisted on coming along so Jin brought her with him.

“Hm?”

Jin who was the controlling the bike suddenly stopped it.

“What's wrong, Jin?”

Sapphire asked. They were still some distance away from their target so she couldn't guess why Jin stopped the bike.

‘Unless he was having second thoughts?’

She was hoping that was the case, because that would mean that his heart wasn't completely numb.

However, Jin's next words shattered her hope.

“Sapphire take this bike and leave.”

“Leave? Why?!”

Jin didn't respond for a while and jumped off the bike.

He looked up at the roof of a building.

“I have a guest I need to attend to.”

“Guest?”

Sapphire followed Jin's line of sight and also looked at the roof top. There she saw someone dressed in a suit sitting on the edge of the roof, with a briefcase laying beside him.

“Andre Bernard?!”

Sapphire was shocked out of her mind to see Andre. She predicted that he would eventually come to find Jin but this was too fast.

Jin just spoke about him earlier and now he's already in front of him.

Sapphire knew from Jin that Bernard was incredibly strong. In fact Jin said that Andre could take on a pillar by himself and even kill them in broad daylight.

Someone as dangerous as that was casually sitting in the dark night flying paper planes.

“Oh? Right on time.”

Andre noticed Jin and Sapphire and stood up holding his briefcase.

He walked off the building but surprisingly enough he didn't fall, instead he continued to walk like he was on the ground. And then he started to descend like he was walking on invisible steps.

His steps were slow and carefree but also had a bit of dread to them.

It didn't take long for his feet to touch the ground.

“Jin Makoto, I presume.”

He casually spoke to Jin as he walked towards him.

“That would be me. I believe you should be Andre Bernard.”

“That's me. I take it you know my reason for appearing before you like this?”

“Of course. There's only one reason the infamous Bloody Justice would appear in front of a small character like myself.”

He showed an amused grin.

“You're here to erase me from society.”

Andre casually nodded.

“But please refrain from calling yourself a small character. If you the one hailed as the city's death god is a small character then I'm just a failed concept that didn't even get the chance to be introduced to the audience.”

“Hahaha! I thought that you would be more of a serious person, but it seems that even you have a sense of humor.”

When he said that Andre was already standing directly in front of him.

“Jin!”

“Sapphire, leave this place.”

Jin said without taking his eyes off Andre.

“If you stay here you'll die either by his hands or mines.”

“Jin….”

“Go and no matter what don't come back here until I say it's safe!”

He suddenly shouted.

Sapphire body jolted because Jin wasn't really one to shout.

Since of late she realized that something inside Jin has changed. He has become even harder to predict and a lot more aggressive.

She bit her lips and took control of the bike.

She knew that Jin intended to fight Andre to the death and that if she stayed here she would become a hindrance.

That was the difference between she and them.

“You better come back alive!”

Saying so she turned the bike and rode away.

Andre looked past Jin's shoulders and stared at sapphire’s back.

“If I remember correctly that woman was involved in the massacre.”

His eyes narrowed.

“I should erase her as well.”

He was about to move when he felt something cold and sharp pressed against his throat.

“I appreciate it if you let her go.”

Andre looked at the blade with the word kusanagi on it and Jin who was placing it at his neck with a fake smile on his face.

“MYTH’s Kusanagi X3, huh? Based on the Storm God Susanoo’s sword that he used to slay the 8 headed dragon Yamata-no-orochi. I heard that it was quite powerful. Second only to the Arthur Series Excalibur and Roland Series Durendal.”

“You know your stuff.”

Jin said with a smile.

“Well, I heard about it from Tommy.”

Andre waved his hand and pushed away Jin's sword.

“I prefer to not let that girl escape so I'll have to finish this quickly.”

He snapped his fingers.

*Boom!*

Jin was suddenly blown away and was sent flying.

Despite this Andre didn't look satisfied. He only looked surprised.

Jin stabbed his sword in the ground to force a complete stop.

“Why didn't you blow up?”

Andre asked with some surprise in his voice.

“That's because your Law Maker doesn't work on me.”

“Doesn't work? That's impossible. My Law Maker allows me the rewrite the laws that govern anything that's within my domain. I'm the ruler. If I wish for something it happens.”

Law Maker, a special ability that belongs to Andre. It has the power to distort reality to anything he sees fit. However that only applies to anything that's inside 30 meters range around him. Even so, in that 30m range Andre is god.

He is the ruler of his own world.

He is the judge, jury, and the executor.

Or that was how it was suppose to be.

“Well think of it like this. You have the power of a god, but I have the power of a devil god inside my body. Devil God trumps god.”

“Don't fuck with me!”

Andre angrily shouted.

“I explained it and you got mad.”

Jin shrugged.

“Okay here's an explanation you can be satisfied with.”

He pointed at himself.

“My body is pretty much a blackhole. It can absorb a percentage of any and everything in this world. In order words it absorb the laws you recreated and weaken it to the point that my body could easily stay intact even though you ordered it to explode.”

Andre was shocked to hear that.

If what Jin said was true then it would take far more power to harm him than the ordinary person that's because his body would absorb and weaken any attack it receives.

“Well, this is troublesome.”

Andre placed his hands inside his pockets as calm returned to his voice.

“You're the first person I've been unable to rule in a very long time. I've met persons with great defenses but not like yours. I actually tried my best to blow you up.”

He casually said.

“Then what are you going to do? Are you going to give up?

“What are you talking about? I said that it was first in a long time, but you're not the first person I couldn't easily kill.”

*Boom!*

The space around Andre sudden distorted before exploding.

“I've long since created a countermeasure for abnormals like you.”

He dropped his brief case and took off his jacket.

He rolled up his sleeves as his body started pulsating.

His muscles grew larger and firmer. His body became a bit red which gave him an unhealthy look. Even his brown hair started paling as it grew wild.

“Since your body can absorb damage like a sponge I just have to hit it with everything I can muster until your body burst like a balloon.”

He looked at Jin with bloodshot eyes.

His overall appearance was so unnatural that he barely looked human.

“Using your power to rewrite the laws that govern your body, huh? It seems that you've removed the limiter on your body and brain. It's quite the monster thing to do.”

Jin gripped his sword tightly and took a fighting stance.

“As long as society is free from scums like you, losing my humanity isn't a big deal.”

Andre lifted a finger and a drop of blood drip out of it and hit the ground.

The moment the blood hit the asphalt it morphed into a sword of blood.

He gripped it and swung it to the side.

*Boom!*

The asphalt burst open like it was hit by a powerful force.

“Well, damn. This might get a little messier than I thought.”

Jin whispered.

“Let's begin your execution, Death God!”

*Boom!*

The ground burst open as Andre rushed towards Jin.

“Lets see if you have what it takes.”

Jin also kicked off the ground and rushed to meet him.

The two swung their swords at the same time.

*Boom!*

The force from their clash caused the ground to burst open and the surrounding buildings to crack.

*Boom!*

The two started clashing at an impossible to follow speed.

Andre thrust his blood sword with so much force that it was like lightning piercing through the clouds.

Jin lifted kusanagi X3 in front of him and blocked it.

His feet skid on the ground as he was forced back.

Andre chased after him and swung down his sword.

Jin grabbed his coat and dragged it in front of him.

*Boom!*

The blood sword clashed against the coat but it felt like it clashed against a rock.

Jin quickly put the coat back on and deflected Andre’s sword, he then stepped forward grabbed his face with his left hand.

Electric sparks was suddenly released from his palm and hit Andre point blank.

“Guah?!”

Andre’s head was blown back while charred black, Jin used that chance to swung Kusanagi.

*Boom!*

A powerful force hit Andre and pushed him away while ripping open the earth.

*Boom!*

An apartment building was hit by it and was cut in half as Andre flew through it.

Jin kicked off the ground and chased after Andre. He quickly caught up and swung kusanagi.

The moment he did he saw Andre’s eyes shone a dangerous light.

“Judgement Cross!”

Andre slammed his palm on Jin's chest before kusanagi could reach him.

*Boom!*

A gigantic cross of light burst out of Jin's back and blew him into the air.

Andre crashed into the ground and watched as Jin blasted off into the night sky.

300 ft in the air Jin's body floated before falling to the earth. His eyes were rolled over and his body showed no signs of movement.

Andre’s body started cracking as he bent his knees.

*Boom!*

With a jump his body shot off like a rocket and quickly approached Jin.

He thrust his sword upward aiming to pierce through Jin's heart.

“?!”

However Jin's suddenly twisted his body and flew to the right.

“Hermes Sky Boot activate!”

Jin's boot suddenly lit up and wing shaped thrusters appeared at the sides.

Jin suddenly shot towards Andre and spun his body.

He hit him with a corkscrew kick square to the face and sent him crashing towards the earth.

“Ugh!”

Andre who was crashing towards the earth suddenly came to a stop midair and twisted his body to stand in the air.

“The laws of this world is mine to bend!”

A golden light appeared in his palm.

“Disappear!”

He thrust his palm forward and a golden dragon shot towards Jin.

“Silver Bow!”

He shouted and two silver pistol materialized in his hands.

He quickly fired them down at Andre’s dragon.

*Boom!*

They collided and caused a massive explosion which shook the entire 3rd district.

Sapphire who was riding the Silver Chariot felt the vibration caused by the explosion and looked back.

“Jin….”

Meanwhile Jin and Andre shot towards each other in the air.

Andre snapped his fingers and several golden orbs floated around him.

“Silver Bow heavy duty mood!”

The silver pistols turned into light and morphed together and formed a silver chain gun.

“Taste my Justice!”

“To hell with your Justice!”

The two fired at each other while clashing in the sky.

*Boom!* *Boom!* *Boom!* *Boom!*

The sky lit up as the lights of mass destruction collided with each other.

Some stray shot crashed into the nearby buildings and destroyed them, but Jin and Andre didn't seem to care as they tried to destroy the other.

Andre suddenly came to a stop and swung his arms open.

“Scum!”

His muscles started glowing as his eyes started bleeding.

*Boom!*

His figure suddenly disappeared with an explosive sound.

*Boom!*

“Ugh?!”

Jin looked down and saw a fist buried deep into his stomach.

He lifted his hand and swung it at Andre but before he could he felt a heavy blow to his face.

*Boom!*

He was then hit in the sides and then the chest and then the throat.

Andre started destroying him with unbelievable heavy punches.

Even though he was wearing unbreakable gear like his coat and the chain mail hidden under his shirt, but it seemed that Andre was bending the laws that govern them and made them lose their defensive abilities.

Because of this Jin felt the full extent of Andre blows.

Blood sprayed out of his mouth and nose.

“Die!”

Andre’s fist glowed as plasma started gathering around it.

*Boom!*

He slammed it into Jin's face and sent him falling out of the sky like a meteorite.

*Boom!*

He crashed into the ground and cause a huge crater.

His coat was torn. His chain mail was reduced to dust, and his mouth mask was torn up.

Even so his eyes shone brightly.

“So this is being at death's door. It's been so long since I've felt it.”

Even though his body was in ruins he still smiled as if it was someone else's business.

Andre landed not too far from him and walked towards him ready to finish him off.

His suit had long since turned into rags and he had a wild appearance while covered in blood.

Jin saw him approaching and got up.

This surprised Andre greatly.

But what surprised him more was that Jin's wounds were literally going up into smoke and disappearing.

“Say, Bloody Justice. Do you have any intention of dying here?”

“Of course not. But if I die then so be it. At least that way society will have one less scum.”

“Oh? So you're not delusional after all. You know that you're scum.”

“Of course. But that doesn't matter. After I clean up society then I'll receive my punishment.”

“Oh? It seems that we're more alike than I thought.”

Andre suddenly realized that black flames were appearing on the ground.

The sight those flames caused anger to rise up in him.

“This is what you used to torture that woman even after death?”

Jin replied with a single nod.

“I've decide to let you taste them as well.”

The flames started to dance around Jin. Andre could see mourning faces appearing within them.

“Welcome to the lowest level of hell, Andre Bernard.”

The flames spread through the district at an incredible pace forming a skull.

“Hell huh? It's nicer than I expected.”

The space are Andre started distorting as he rewrote laws on his body even further and strengthen it to the point it was glowing.

“Let's end this!”

*Boom!*

The earth cracked open further as lava started rush out like a geyser.

The lava that was spraying towards the sky morphed into two giant wolves.

Andre waved his arm and lightning started gathering in it and swirled like a hurricane.

“Your powers are really that of a god.”

Jin said as he looked at Andre’s display of power.

He smiled as the flames that created the district size fire skull started rushing back towards him and Andre.

“Lets go, Bloody Justice! Let's turn this place into hell!”

A tidal wave of black flames charge towards Andre.

“Lets all go to hell, Black Reaper!”

The lava wolves roared and charged towards Jin. Andre himself turned into a giant bolt of lightning and magma and charged toward Jin as well.

Jin smiled and jumped on the black flame tidal wave which was charging towards Andre.

The two took one last look at each other before they collided.

““Die!””

*BOOOOOOOOOM!*

That night the high class district that was called the 3rd District was erased from this world by a sea of lava and black flames.
