While Miko was focusing on healing his organs, Bloom and the rest of Silver Crow had returned to the entertainment District where their second base was located.

As they expected, even this part of the city was in chaos.

There were enforcers clashing with thugs from the Syndicate in the middle of the street.

A lot of teens and young adults were seen fleeing from the battles, but there were also some joining in to take on the enforcers or the thugs.

“Looks like Code Breaker has yet to deploy any men here.”

Zetsu said after seeing that no one affiliated with Exsul were among the battles.

“Exsul only just started to join the fray, it will take a time for them to spread out to the entire city.”

Bloom answered.

“What makes you think that Jin will be here, Sapphire?”

She asked while looking around.

“A hunch.”

“A hunch?”

Sapphire nodded.

“….Well, considering that you’ve known him the longest then we'll just have work off that.”

Bloom said while scanning the area.

“Hm?”

That’s when something caught her eye.

In the middle of the chaos where several stores were destroyed, a single table stood out.

That table was located at a café and had a single person sitting around it.

That person was the most out of place person she’s ever seen. They were eating a sandwich and drinking coffee while the entire district was set ablaze.

It made Bloom wonder if she was seeing an illusion.

“Hey….Do you guys see that?”

She said as she pointed towards the table.

“What?”

The rest of Silver Crow turned and looked at where she pointed.

“The hell?”

They were all shocked but none more than Sapphire.

“Jin?!”

“What?”

“That’s jin?”

The rest were skeptical. The person sitting at the table and the Jin Makoto they remembered were far too different after all.

“No, I’m certain. That’s Jin.”

However, Sapphire stuck by her statement.

“You guys might not know, because Jin had always dominated his battles, but Jin has more than one appearance.”

“More than one appearances? You mean there’s more than one Jin?”

Reiji asked.

“Don’t be stupid.”

“No, he’s right.”

Sapphire shot down Zetsu refuting reiji.

“A few years ago Jin encountered an opponent that he couldn’t handle and was pushed into a corner. It was then I saw it, Jin’s Day Form.”

“Day Form?”

Sapphire nodded.

“The Jin that we’re all used to is Jin’s Night Form, his Day Form is completely different. I’ve only seen it once but his Day form looks a bit similar to the Jin sitting there. He even mentioned once that neither forms were his real appearance.”

“……”

Bloom thought about what Sapphire said for a while before saying-

“Anyway, we’ll have to check and see for ourselves.”

She then started to approach the table with Silver Crow following behind her.

They cautiously approached the table while keeping their eyes on the person sitting there.

Even now they couldn’t fathom how could someone be so casual in this chaos. Even they had to repel a few enforcers and thugs before reaching the table.

They stopped in front of the table, but the person sitting there didn’t seem to acknowledge their existence because they started to play a video game on their phone while placing their feet on the table.

Sapphire was the one to speak first.

“Jin? It’s you right, Jin?”

The person, Jin heard the voice and looked up and looked at her with his bright blue eyes.

“Oh? If it isn’t Sapphire? Long time no see.”

He said with a casual smile.

“Oh, you brought the rest of Silver Crow? That’s great! Please have a seat.”

Jin snapped his fingers and the table suddenly enlarged and six chairs appeared out of nowhere.

This was a feature that the café had from before the war.

Bloom and the others looked at each other in confusion before taking a seat each.

Sapphire and Bloom sat the closest to Jin.

“…..You’re the Boss, right?”

Chrome asked.

“Of course. I even know about the mole under your left breast.”

“I-I told you to keep quiet about that!”

Chrome frantically scream.

The rest of the members subconsciously had their eyes drawn to her breasts, which made her hide her chest.

“Hahaha! Sorry, sorry. I haven’t seen you guys in so long I just felt like teasing you for a bit.”

Jin said while laughing.

This surprised the others because Jin wasn't one to laugh like that, they didn’t know how to react.

“Jin, what happened to you?”

Sapphire couldn’t help but to ask.

“Hm? Nothing really. I’ve just decided to throw away my burdens and return to my real self. That’s all.”

“Throw away your burdens?”

“Let’s not talk about that. Let’s take about you guys.”

Jin looked at Bloom.

“You’ve matured.”

He then look at the rest of them.

“All of you have, it looks like. I take it that it means that you’ve all finally became independent of me.”

A proud look appeared in his eyes.

“Good, then you guys don’t need me any more.”

“?!”

Sapphire sprung to her feet.

“Why does it sound like your planning on leaving us forever?!”

“That’s because I am. I mean you’ve all should’ve heard by now.”

Jin leaned back in his seat and said with a smile.

“I’m dying.”

“……..”

No one said anything because Jin was right. Miko had told them what Kaido told him about Jin’s situation.

“Why the long face? You’ve all got Bloom to lead you, it’s not like I was a great leader anyway.”

“But you are the leader.”

Bloom said.

Jin shook his head.

“Why do you think the group is called Silver Crow?”

He pointed at her.

“It’s because of you. I remember the first time I saw you use your powers. You were flying in the air while your silver hair glistened under the sun. It was a beautiful sight.”

He smiled gently at Bloom.

“At that time I thought, ‘Ah, what a beautiful sight. I can’t believe that there was still something so pure in the world’. That was when I decided to give you true wings fitting of a Crow. And that’s Silver Crow.”

Sapphire said nothing because she had always knew that was the true reason behind the formation of Silver Crow, to give Bloom a place to spread her wings.

“So Silver Crow can easily survive without me.”

Jin said as he stood up from his seat.

“Now then, shall we get started?”

“Jin?”

They looked at him confusingly.

“Didn’t you all come here to stop me?”

“?!”

Even though that was their original intentions, actually coming face to face with him made them forget about their purpose.

“I’m the one who started this mess, so isn’t it your jobs to put an end to me, Silver Crow?”

As he said that, Jin’s carefree aura disappeared and it was replaced by a strong oppressive aura.

“Jin-”

“Just to make it clear, I have no intention of backing down. If you want to stop me and weaken the Pillars military strength, then you’ll have to kill me. Otherwise I won’t stop fanning the flames of war in this city.”

He interrupted Bloom and sapphire who wanted to plead to him.

“I’ll bring down this whole city to hell with me, that is the only reason I’m still here.”

*Boom!*

The moment he said that he received a punched in the face from Sapphire.

“If you want to die so badly, then I’ll grant your wish!”

She shouted.

Jin smiled at her.

“That’s more like it, Sapphire!”

*Boom!*

He punched her in the stomach and caused her feet to lift off the ground.

Sapphire clenched her teeth and kneed him in the face, before leaping back.

“Sapp-”

“What are you hesitating for Bloom Newgate?!”

Sapphire interrupted Bloom with a shout.

“There’s someone putting the lives of everyone in the city at risk! Isn’t it Silver Crow’s duty to eliminate such a person?!”

She shouted while glaring at the smiling Jin. Tears were seen gathering her eyes, but she quickly wiped them away from her eyes.

“The enemy is front of us! So why are you hesitating, Silver Crow?!”

“?!”

Sapphire words sent a jolt through everyone’s body.

Bloom clenched her teeth and fists.

“Silver Crow….”

Her body trembled as she gave the order.

“The target is Jin Makoto! All members are to show no mercy! If necessary you’re allowed to kill him!”

Jin’s eyes widen for a bit before a proud smile appeared on his face.

“Yes, Ma’am!”

The rest of Silver Crow shouted in unison.

“Well said!”

Jin charged at them, the first one to counter him was once again Sapphire.

*Boom!*

She covered herself in crystals and punched him in the chest.

Jin shrugged it off and slammed his palm in her stomach.

“Makoto Tactics: Blooming Rose!”

*Boom!*

A golden rose burst out of Sapphire’s back as she was sent flying into a store.

“Hm?”

Jin heard a crackling sound and turned around to see both Reiji and Nico sending lightning and fire attacks at him.

*Boom!*

He was hit in the stomach and chest at the sametime.

“Too soft!”

Jin grabbed both of their arms and lifted them over his head before slamming them into the ground.

*Boom!*

However, he was hit in the side by Chrome and Bloom at the sametime.

“Cough?!”

Even he could help but to cough up blood, when the sound waves from Chrome combined with Bloom’s gravity powers and attacked his organs.

He quickly released reiji and Nico and grabbed towards the girls.

“Jin!”

However before he could Sapphire shot out of the store and kicked him under chin.

When his head was blown back he saw Zetsu spin over his head with thrusting down a spear.

He immediately used the momentum from getting kicked to perform a backflip.

*Boom!*

Zetsu’s spear stabbed into the ground, but several broken pieces of iron shot towards Jin from all directions.

Jin immediately used raw mana to form a golden spear in his hand.

He spun the spear and then deflected the pieces of metal like he was performing a dance.

He then thrust the spear at Sapphire who was attacking from the front.

The spear pierced into a her shoulder, but that didn’t stop her charge.

“Rahh!”

She continued to move forward and ignored the pain. This caught Jin off guard which allowed her to approach him.

“Come to your god damn senses!”

*Boom!*

She punched jin in the face with all of her strength which made him fly back and crash into the café.

Bloom appeared over it and thrust her palm downward.

*Boom!*

The café was flatten instantly and a palm shaped crater was formed n the ground.

Chrome ran up to the crater and condense sound into a ball before throwing it at the crater.

*Boom!*

The crater expanded with an explosive sound.

Lightning and flames then shot down from the heavens and hit Jin as well, while hundreds off rubble were thrown at him.

*Boom!*

All of Silver Crow started to mercilessly attack Jin who was being pinned down.

But then-

*Boom!*

A bright light spread out and devoured their attacks.

Jin was then seen floating out of the crater with his body glowing as bright as the sun.

He had entered his Day Mode.

“Not bad. As always your coordination is impressive, but it isn’t enough to overcome absolute power.”

He said with a bright smile.

“Since we’re former comrades I'll let you in on a secret about my Day Mode.”

He stretched his hand towards Sapphire.

“Eh?”

She immediately flew into his grasp against her own will.

“The reason why it’s called Day Form is because I’m literally a human sun when using it.”

Sapphire started kicking him but Jin continued.

“Did you know? A sun have it’s own gravitational field.”

*Crack!*

Cracks started to appear in the ground as chunks of earth started floating around Jin.

“As a self aware sun, I’m able to control every single aspect of the sun. For example, it's gravity.”

Silver Crow members stared in shock as many buildings started to float in the air around Jin.

The buildings started falling towards them.

“Shit!”

Bloom quickly used her power to hold them up.

“Ahhhhhh?!”

She heard a scream and saw Sapphire screaming out in pain as electric shocks flowed into her.

“Sapphire!”

Before Bloom could help her, Sapphire already went limp in Jin’s palms.

“Did you know? There’s Electric Currents within the sun.”

“Jin!”

Chrome, Zetsu, Nico and Reiji angrily rushed towards Jin.

*Pierce!*

However before they could touch him pieces of pipe burst out of the ground and stabbed them in the back.

“Cough?!”

They coughed blood as they were impaled and risen up like flags.

“The sun also possesses its own magnetic field.”

As Jin said that several more pieces of iron burst out of the ground and stabbed into them, until they were no longer able to move.

“JIN MAKOTO!”

Bloom flew into a fit of rage and caused the entire district to flatten under an immense increase in gravitational force.

Only the members of Silver Crow and Jin were spared from being reduced into pancakes.

The space above her head started to distort as a purple ball the size of a mansion appeared. This ball was made of pure gravitational force and had enough destructive ability to destroy this District three times over.

In the face of the angry bloom, Jin still wore a casual smile.

Bloom threw down the ball in a fit of rage.

Jin threw Sapphire one side and lifted his arm.

“Of course. Let’s not forget about the supernova.”

*BOOOOOOM!*

An invincible burst of powerful flames spread out and engulf the entire district and even half of the district next to it.

When it faded, the only thing that was left was a wasteland.

Every building, road, and monument were destroyed without exception.

“……..”

Jin looked down on Bloom who laid unconsciously on the ground.

He then looked at the members of Silver Crow who were seriously injured like Bloom and were even at death’s door.

Other than him, they were the only ones who survived the blast. Of course that was intentional on Jin’s part.

He sighed and dragged them into a pile.

He pointed his palm at them.

A warm light wrapped around them and slowly healed their wounds until the point their lives were no longer in danger.

Meanwhile in the background, the sun slow rose and lit up the entire city.

“Of course, the sun is also the source of life. So things like this are naturally."

Jin then turned his back to them and started to walk away.

“Goodbye, Silver Crow. It was fun.”

It was like this the first night of the war ended and a new day of war began.
