Luna Isabel.

To those in the city she’s known as one of the Four Pillars that controls the city.

She is seen as a cold and calculative person who only loves money. There was also a rumor that she hated Infecteds.

From the above stated you could see that the impression of her was a bad one.

However, there’s a story behind every action this woman has taken, as well as why she’s the way she is.

Luna Isabel was born in Grim City 27 years ago to normal middle-class parents.

As a child she was always considerate and never really pressured her parents to buy her anything. She did her best to preserve anything they bought her, so that they wouldn't need to unnecessarily spend money on her.

To working-class parents, a mature kid like her was the best they could’ve ever hoped for.

Luna was also a very kind and cheerful child who would always be the center of attention.

It could be said that she had a relatively easy life.

However that all changed in one night.

When she was just 9 years old a calamity struck the Isabel household. Someone broke into their home and killed her parents.

This murder wasn’t so simple.

The killer was an admirer of her mother as well as her co-worker. He approached her but her mother turned him down and down again.

Unable to accept the rejection, the man decided to make her mother suffer.

To do that he broke into their home and tied up Luna and her parents. He then proceeded to torture her father in front of her mother.

He burnt her father’s skin with hot oil, broke all of his fingers and toes, blinded him with corrosive chemicals. To finish it off he neutered her father, which caused him to die from shock.

Luna’s mother was so devastated that she took her own life by biting her tongue, leaving Luna alone with the madman.

The man was unable to accept Luna’s mother’s death and proceed to rape the corpse in front of Luna.

After he was done he then raped Luna as well.

The enforcers finally came only after Luna was continuously raped for over an hour.

The man was naturally detained and brought before the law, however he wasn't sentenced.

The case was thrown out on the terms that the man was insane.

But that was just what the public was told.

The man was actually an Infected with the ability to turn invisible, which he used to break into Luna’s home.

He was also the person who inspired the development of the Invisibility Helmet. Because of this he had a high position in society. So the then Four Pillars made sure his needs were met.

For example, he saw Luna’s mother in the public one day and requested to be placed in the same company as her so that he could get closer to her.

Luna naturally learnt this from the man himself when he bought her home from the bank that owned their home.

She was left orphaned, soiled, and homeless.

This caused the 9 year old Luna to become twisted.

She determined that if she had money she could’ve kept her home, and if the man wasn’t an Infected he couldn’t have entered their home.

She gain a strong desire for money, and the destruction of Infecteds and privileges they held.

This desire became the driving force that made her move from being an orphan to a Pillar in a decade. To accomplish this, she lied, she cheated, she manipulated, and she murdered.

Luna Isabel had committed every sin known to man and rose to the top.

The first thing she did after becoming a pillar was to order the capture of the man who ruined her life.

He apparently used the money he received from the Pillars to settle down and start a family.

Luna had his family violated, tortured, and then boiled in front of him.

She then forced him to be restrained so that he couldn't take his own life.

For everyday for three years, the man was forced to eat meals created using the meat of his dead family, while the video of their deaths were played in front of him.

When there was no more meat left to feed him, he drank soup made from their bones.

Luna eventually had him sent away to be raped in the most brutal way until she felt satisfied.

“The current condition of the man is unknown.”

Miko said as he read the report he received from Edward while sitting on a ledge.

“This Luna Isabel is pretty fucked up. Well, circumstances are responsible I guess.”

He threw the report away and looked towards the 13th District.

“Are you feeling sentimental?”

Tia asked.

“Me? Don’t joke around. No matter their past or circumstances I never pity an enemy. In fact them having a sad past just makes me want to put them out of their misery faster.”

“Hahaha! I should’ve known that you would say that.”

Tiamat said while laughing.

“So are you going to put her out of her misery?”

Miko shook his head.

“Like I said earlier, somebody else already wants her head.”

Outside the Business District.

Aoi Tsuyoshi stood with a lovely smile on her face and her army behind her.

She looked in front of her and saw countless people standing in the business district wearing business suits and holding all kinds of weapons.

“That’s quite a classy army she has there.”

Aoi looked behind her.

“Compare to them you guys just look like punks.”

“That’s because we are thugs.”

A soldier replied.

“Ah, I guess you’re right.”

Aoi and the soldiers started laughing ignoring the tense atmosphere.

“Ah, come on. Don’t you people have a sense of humor?”

Aoi asked after seeing the serious faces on the people wearing the suits.

“This is why I could never be a blue collar worker.”

She said with a sigh.

“A vixen like you could’ve never made it in the business world.”

While saying that Luna appeared from the crowd.

She was dressed in a business suit as well, however her suit was a bit odd.

It was multicolored and had a moon insignia on it.

When Aoi saw it she showed a strange smile.

“Really now? I thought that vixens in the business world were like fish in a pond.

“Well you thought wrong.”

Luna glared at Aoi.

“Although I know this is just a wasted action, the Pillars code states that I’m to caution an attacker before moving to eliminate them. So I’ll give you one chance Aoi Tsuyoshi. Fallback and live, advance and die.”

“Hahahahaha! That really was a wasted action! Me, fallback?”

Aoi took a puff off her pipe and spun it between her fingers, before pointing it towards the Business District.

“Charge!”

“Ohhhhh!”

After receiving their orders, the thugs roared and charged into the Business District.

“Hmph. Shouldn’t have wasted my breath on you.”

Luna pointed towards the charging thugs.

“Kill them all!”

“Yes, Ma’am!”

The people in the suits also charged forward firing their weapons.

*Boom!*

A big explosion occurred when both sides clashed.

People were cut down by the dozen. People were shot, electrocuted, cut into pieces, trampled, burn, etc.

The Business District quickly turned into a hellhole with people from both sides being drenched in blood with demonic smiles on their faces.

It was a real bloodbath.

“How beautiful. The way the blood flies into the air.”

Said Aoi as she ripped off the head of one of Luna’s men.

“War is truly savagery at its finest!”

“Left Fang Aoi Tsuyoshi! Hand over your head!”

Aoi suddenly found herself being surrounded by several of Luna’s people.

“My? All of you want my pretty ole head?”

In the face of these people Aoi showed no signs of tension and just smiled.

“Very well. Here it is!”

The unbelievable happened next.

Aoi’s neck suddenly stretched and her head charged towards the soldiers while her body remained rooted.

“Kah!”

Aoi’s mouth then stretched so big that it looked like she could swallow someone whole.

In fact, that’s what she did.

Using her giant mouth, Aoi swallowed a soldier in one gulp. She then followed up and devoured another one in a split second.

If you looked at her neck you could see the men swallowed shrinking as they came closer to her body.

It was if they were being forcibly compressed as they traveled down her throat.

“What’s wrong? I gave you my head, but you didn’t take it.”

She said as her extremely long neck moved like a dance cobra.

Her tongue and eyes were also that of a serpent.

Seeing her like that the soldiers became frightened as if they had looked into the eyes of medusa.

“If you guys don’t want my head, then I’ll take yours if you don’t mind.”

Before the soldiers could respond, Aoi had already moved into action.

She swiftly bit off the heads of the soldiers. She even moved in the a zig-zag pattern, purposely skipping some soldiers so that they could watch the blood spray out of their comrades bodies.

She then changed directions and proceeded to eat them while they had terrified expressions on their faces.

“Haaah?!”

After seeing their comrades being tortured to death in such a way, Luna’s men started to run away hoping to get as far away from her as possible.

“Hey, don’t run away!”

Aoi used her neck to start chasing them which terrified them even further.

“Leave my people alone, you damn monster!”

*Boom!*

Aoi swiftly retracted her and avoided having it cut off by a sword that had a blade that was shaped like a crescent moon.

“Whew, that was close.”

Said Aoi.

She looked in front of her and stared at the woman wearing the silver armor which looked rainbow colored when light shone on it. Her helmet had a crescent moon on it as well as the chest plate.

“So this is the legendary Lunar Armor that I’ve heard so much about?”

Aoi used her eyes to capture every detail of the armor.

It was as if she was a predator staring at her prey.

“This moon inspired armor is perfect for someone’s name who means moon. Huh, Luna?”

“Shut it, monster.”

Luna pointed her crescent moon swords at Aoi with a murderous glare in her eyes.

“This is why I’ve always hated your kind. Your actions are truly disgusting and inhumane.”

“Ha! Is this the kettle calling the pot black!”

Aoi responded with a laugh.

“Your self-righteous words just makes me wanna puke. But you were right.”

Aoi’s body suddenly changed into a serpentine monster with limbs.

She had scales, claws, and an unusually slender body.

This was her Infected ability.

She could turn herself into a monster that possessed the attributes of a serpent. She was like a lamia, however unlike lamias she couldn’t turn into a full snake.

“I am a monster.”

An overwhelming magical force could be felt coming from her body.

“So come and slay this monster, human!”

Aoi slithered forward with an incredible speed.

“Gladly!”

Luna also moved forward.

When the two were in close distance, Aoi leaped ate her while bearing her fangs.

Luna swung her sword and the two collided.

Surprisingly aoi’s skin was incredibly tough and the sword wasn’t able to cut her but only repel her a little.

Aoi twisted her snake-like body and easily got behind Luna.

Luna did a back swing and once again repel Aoi.

Aoi didn’t stop her assault and targeted Luna’s legs next. Luna jumped over it and swung down her blade to kill Aoi. However Aoi slithered out of the way and bit at Luna’s neck.

Luna leaped back to avoid the bite, but Aoi followed her closely not giving her any room to breath.

Luna once again swung her blade which clashed with Aoi.

*Boom!*

The force of the two using their full strength caused them to be blown away from each other.

The two quickly charged at each other intending to finish each other off.

*Boom!* *Boom!* *Boom!* *Boom!* *Boom!*

But then loud explosions could be heard coming from the already noisy district.

When the two looked, they saw their subordinates being crushed by an invisible force or by giant debris falling from the sky.

*BOOM!*

That’s when one half of a building fell out of the sky and crushed hundreds of people.

“Guh?!”

Those who weren’t crushed were skewered by blue crystal bursting from underground.

The crystals rose high into the sky with countless people bleeding on them.

The blood flowing down the crystals reflected the sunlight and caused an eery but mesmerizing scene.

“Who?!”

*Boom!*

Luna’s question was cut short when someone burst from underground and rose her into the air with a powerful uppercut.

“Luna Isabel!”

Sapphire shouted as she sent Luna flying.

Luna who was hit by surprised had her brain shook by the impact of Sapphire’s fist, couldn't make out who hit her; but she recognized the voice as Sapphire’s.

“That little-?!”

*Boom!*

She was once again interrupted after being hit by a fist covered in a purple orb.

“Payback, Bitch!”

Bloom shouted as she broke Luna’s teeth with a punch to the jaw.

This signaled Bloom’s and Sapphire’s entry into the battle of maidens.
