《Mythical Conquest》Reach For The Apex

After Tang left, Miko and the others later met up with Edward and the rest of Exsul, after which they went to the ruins of the 11th District to hide and recuperate.
Miko was sitting by himself on a broken wall mumbling something under his breath.
“What are you doing?”
Bloom came up to him and asked.
“Just preparing some insurance for later.”
He answered without looking back her.
“Shouldn’t you be resting?”
“That’s something I should be asking you. I’m physically fine. I’m just waiting for my depleted Qi and magic to return. However, the 24 hour period Tang gave us was more than enough to do so.”
“Are you planning on fighting him alone?”
“If I must but I doubt it.”
“Can you win?”
Miko turned around and looked at her.
“What do you think?”
Bloom didn’t answer and remained silent.
Seeing that Miko jumped off the wall and landed in front of her. He held her waist and drew her closer to him.
“Don’t worry. I’ve fought and survived against the monster that is Killo. Compared to him, Tang is nothing.”
Bloom nodded and then kissed him passionately for a few moments before separating.
“I’m going to rest. So see you later.”
“You do that.”
Miko then watch Bloom leave before speaking.
“Can’t I get a little privacy?”
When he said that he saw two persons emerge from the shadows.
They were Jin and Kaido.
“Considering what you did to me, I deserve this much.”
Said Jin.
“I just made you live. Don’t make it sound like I impregnated your wife in front of you.”
“Well, life is pretty fucked up you know.”
“Suck it up. At least you can continue tapping Sapphire. I’ve seen that body, and trust me I’m jealous.”
“You’re an asshole you know that?”
“I know and I fucking love it.”
Miko said with a laugh.
“How’s that Nana girl?”
He asked Kaido.
“She finally cried herself to sleep. She's currently with Hana.”
“I see. She lost her family, so she must be heartbroken.”
“A feeling we all can relate to.”
Jin added.
They all had a moment in their life when they’ve tasted complete despair so they understood what Nana was going through more than anyone.
“On a different note, lets discuss the threat that is Tang. There’s also that gigantic robot Gear created but Tang is a more pressing issue.”
Miko looked at Jin and Kaido.
“You two should be somewhat familiar with him. Tell me, what are our chances of victory?”
“Depends. If it’s one on one then you would lose for sure.”
Kaido answered.
“Then what about if we team up?”
“We would have a chance but it would be slim.”
Said Jin.
“The main reason the Syndicate was able to become a threat to the entire city was because of Tang. He suddenly appeared out of nowhere 10 years ago and shook the entire city in a similar way to how you did. The only difference was that he was basically unknown and had zero backing. After killing two of the previous Four Pillars he became famous and people started to gather around him which later became known as the Twin Headed Dragon Syndicate.”
He explained.
“So he’s strong, on top of that he’s a proxy. I highly doubt he just appeared out of nowhere. But whatever, his origin doesn’t matter. We gotta decide how to kill him.”
Said Miko.
“I believe the most logical option would be for the three of us to take him on alone.”
“I agree. The others might not be ready for a fight in a day, but it’s enough for three freaks like us.”
Said Jin.
“We would be able to minimize collateral damage with just us.”
Said Kaido.
“Okay, then just to be clear. Do you two have any trump cards that you didn’t show during our fight?”
Miko asked.
“I do.”
“Me too.”
“Seriously? You bastards are pretty scary.”
Miko said with a laugh.
“Don’t act like you don’t have a card or two hidden away.”
Said Jin.
“Of course. But I can’t use one them because of a promise I made to myself. However I do have more up my sleeve that I’m currently preparing.”
“Good. My trump doesn’t need preparations, but it will cost me.”
Said Jin.
“Mine is a bit similar.”
“That’s great!”
Miko said with an excited clap. He looked like a child who was eager to play a new game as he spoke.
“Now let’s go kill this Prince!”
Not far away from where Miko and the others were hiding, Alec was in a joyous mood and was celebrating while drinking liquor.
“Hahahaha! Finally! My search has come to an end! Cheers for mission accomplished!”
He hit his wine bottle against Mari’s cup in a joyous manner.
Mari felt a bit awkward because she didn’t know what Alec was celebrating.
“I admit that your cousin is amazing, but aren’t you concerned about Tang Hian and the gigantic robot that threatens him?”
She asked.

“Nope. Tang is a strong opponent for him so he’ll definitely benefit from fighting him. If he’s lucky Tang might show off some of the Wakoku Nation’s secret techniques. I’m sure he’ll learn something from them.”
Alec said with a laugh.
“As for the robot, if push comes to shove I can stealthily take care of it.”
Alec finished one bottle and took up another.
“Come on! Drink, drink! This is a joyous occasion, so enjoy this wine made by the dwarfs!”
The sun rose and set in the city and signal the passage of the 24 hour grace period given by Tang.
By this time Miko had long since regained his depleted magic and Qi. Jin and Kaido had also returned to peak condition as well.
Just to be safe they each took a regenerative pill to boost their already freakish healing abilities.
They all stood side by side with serious expressions.
Miko also had Ishma and Regis on his waist.
Everyone else were in a different location so that they wouldn’t get caught up in their fight.
Of course, they were watching everything from the eyes of a observation satellite.
(They’re here.)
Tia said inside Miko’s head.
Moments later clouds started to gathering in the sky out of nowhere.
*Rumble!*
Lightning flashed and thunder resounded.
*Boom!*
A lightning bolt suddenly landed in front of them, and from it two figures stepped out.
They both had azure hair and possessed an imperial aura that made people want to bow.
“Tang….Who’s that next to him?
Miko asked.
(Shenron, the imperial dragon god that governs the weather.)
Tia answered.
“Shenron?!”
Miko suddenly looked at the handsome man wrapped in oriental robes, and frowned.
“Bullshit!”
He cursed.
“Hey, fraud!”
He pointed at Shenron and shouted.
“Fraud?”
Shenron looked at him confusingly.
“Yeah, you’re a fraud! The Shenron I know is a long green dragon that can grant three wishes! And most of all, I don’t remember gathering any Dragon Balls to summon you! If you’re Shenron grant me three wishes right now, you son of a bitch!”
Miko’s sudden outbursts made everyone confused and completely lost.
“W-What is he talking about?”
Shenron was the most confused of them all.
“D-Dragon balls…hahahaha…”
Bloom who was one of the few who understood what Miko was talking about tried her best not to laugh.
“Forget it. I wondered what kind of person Tiamat’s Proxy was, but it seems he’s nothing but a fool.”
Said Shenron.
He no longer paid Miko any attention and directed Tang.
“Hurry and kill these fools, so that we can return to our glorious nation.
“Yes, Your holiness.”
Tang stepped forward and showed his intention of battle.
“Look at him ready to go.”
Jin said with a mocking tone.
“Is it me, or is he looking down on us?”
Said Kaido.
“That’s even better. I love the looks on their faces when my enemies die after underestimating me.”
Said Miko.
The three of them took a step forward.
“Let’s go all out from the beginning!”
Miko shouted and swallowed a dark ball, and released a dark aura.
Inside his soul the black gate of Deus Malum flew open and the darkest darkness rushed out and enveloped Miko.
“Deus Malum 1st Stage: Dark Apostle!”
*Boom!*
An oppressive dark feeling swept throughout the city and caused everything to tremble under its power.
This include immortal existences like Shenron.
“W-What the hell is that evil aura?!”
He stepped back in panic.
This was the first time he’s felt such a dreaded aura from a mortal.
It was like he was in the presence of a True Demon like Lucifer or Beelzebub.
“This is my second time feeling it and I still get chills.”
Said Kaido.
He watched as darkness started to seep from the darken Miko. Just being next to him made it hard to breathe.
The most dreadful thing about Deus Malum Dark Apostle wasn’t the power but the aura it produced.
This aura was strong enough to frighten even the Gods in the heavens and the demons in the hells. So imagine the pressure mortals had to face when in its presence.
It was enough to make anyone with a weak will commit suicide.
Kaido held down his shivers and released the power of the two beasts inside of him.
*Roar!*
Two ferocious roars came from inside him and resounded in the area.
His body was then covered with a wild golden aura as he became even more muscular.
His hair and eyes had turned gold and his body was covered with scales.
Miko named this form Golden Kaido just for fun.
Seeing that the other two was ready to go Jin activated his Eclipse Form.
With his dark yet illustrious appearance he formed countless eclipse behind him.
“Impressive. All of you.”
Said tang.
An azure aura appeared around him which caused thunder to roll and lightning to flash.
It was like his every step created a storm.
“Let’s see if you have what it takes to reach the apex!”

A Sith? During The Fall
Darth Zaros was the Empire’s Wrath; the greatest Sith Warrior and a man feared across the galaxy. He was also just my Old Republic game character until I somehow woke up as him. If that wasn’t bad enough, I was sent thousands of years into the future to the eve of the Great Jedi Purge. Alone and surrounded by enemies, can Zaros survive long enough to figure out how he got there? Can he ever find his way back? Follow along as Zaros uses his powers and more importantly, the knowledge of a fan, to navigate his way through a dangerous Universe. I'm working with a mixture of canon and legends stuff. If it hasn't been written over in canon then it will probably be free game. Because I’m reconciling various different sources, power levels won’t be blown out of proportion to the point that force users become the only relevant people in the Galaxy. I added the gore tag just in case. This is Star Wars, so there won’t be any needless blood spatters, but lightsaber duels often end with some body part cut off.

Orc Lord
A young woman just starting out in life is killed tragically in a car accident. However, she soon regains consciousness as a baby in a fantasy world. But... she's an Orc?! It would be good if she could just enjoy her new life quietly, but she seems destined for war and carnage. How will she fare as a monster in a fantasy world? ________________ This story will have a total of three arcs: Arc 1, The Birth of Babylon: 571 pages (complete) Arc 2, The Baphomet War: 420 pages (complete) Arc 3, The Mad Queen of Carnage: (in progress) ________________ Ultimately, I'm writing this for enjoyment. If you enjoy it too, fantastic! Gore: Extremely infrequent, but moderately intense. Profanity: There are a few swear words here and there, as well as some more creative insults. Traumatizing Content: While I'm at it, there are some questionable morals displayed (mostly after chapter 77). So far we can check off slavery, brainwashing, war, and genocide. This story starts off very Light Novel-ish because I was reading a lot of them at the time. The writing style gradually matures as it goes. Sorry, but I don't have the stamina to go back and fix everything, even if I know it gets pretty roughshod at times. New readers, please keep in mind, I make use of "unreliable narrators" at times. My story accepts donations, but it is free to read and I've only uploaded it here. Lastly, Orc Lord is a member of the WriTEr's Pledge, which means I have sworn to see it through to a satisfying ending. One of my long breaks triggered a dishonor, but I'll redeem it someday when it's actually finished. I'm the ultimate necromancer author. ;P
