Sophia asked while laughing.

“Seriously, the people in this clan are always a good source of laughs.”

Said Gizmo.

“Hey, Christian. Wake up, Miko is going to fight Nen and KC.”

Kouta said while shaking Christian.

Christian woke up after the 5th shake, and had a dazed look on his face.

“What day is it?”

That was the first thing he asked.

“It’s still the same day.”

Kouta took an eye mask out of his pocket and gave it to Christian.

“Thanks.”

Christian took it and placed it over his eyes.

He was still able to tell what was going on around him because of his superior senses he developed over the years.

“Yo, Christian.”

Alec approached him with a smile.

“Alec huh?”

“I see that your Celestial Body is still affecting your internal clock, thus causing you to fall asleep for long period of times at random moments.”

He pointed at Christian’s eye mask.

“If you want, we can develop something that can replace that. That way you can control your sleep patterns without relying on an enchanted item.”

“By we, you mean me right?”

Said Gizmo.

Alec didn’t deny it and nodded.

“What do you want in return?”

Christian asked.

Alec smiled.

“You let me fully examine your Celestial Body. As you know, a Celestial Body is extremely rare, so the mad scientist in me can’t let this opportunity slip by.”

A Celestial Body was a term for a truly Heavenly Body that appeared in the descendants of heavenly beings like gods.

This body was comparable to one that of a True God would possess. In fact, those who possessed such a body are called Psuedo-Gods by countless people.

Those who are born with a Celestial Body would possess godly powers from birth and couldn’t be judged under common sense.

As expected, those born with this constitution were beyond rare. There were only 7 persons born with a Celestial Body in the last 1000 years.

“There is another person with a Celestial Body you can examine in this clan you know.”

Said Christian.

“Ah, you mean Ravel Dragna.”

Alec replied while shaking his head.

“If I touch her, I’ll get killed ten times over in a second.”

Nero, Raven, and Miko would definitely kill Alec if he tried anything funny with Ravel.

While Alec and Christian were making deals, the fight between the Secundus and Primus branch had already began.

The ones to engage Nen and KC were Chika and Verde. Miko sat this one out since he wanted to save his strength for the other representatives.

Verde was given another drug by Chika to release him from his restraints.

He rushed and attacked the two boys.

“This guy is like a wild beast.”

KC said.

“Let me take him on.”

He stepped out and extended one hand as if he was holding something.

He then pulled back his other hand.

“What’s the best way to hunt a beast?”

Verde pounced towards him.

KC smiled and moved his fingers.

*Boom!*

Verde was next seen pinned to a boulder a couple hundred meters away, with a sword in his stomach.

“The best way is to strike them from their blindspots.”

KC said as he brought his hand at his sides.

Chika looked back at her brother who was pinned to a boulder and whistled.

“He really got you, Verde.”

She looked back at KC.

“Who would expect for them to bring out Roland’s bow.”

“Oh? You recognized it?”

After KC said that, a silver and black bow appeared in KC’s hand. It had no strings to pull which many found hard to understand.

“This is our ancestor’s Silver Stroke. It was one of his two main weapons during his time at the clan.”

“I know it. I was there after all when it took the lives of countless Dragna members including my best friend.”

Chika replied.

“A bow that can turn itself and its attacks invisible. It’s called the Traitorous Bow now I believe.”

‘If I remember correctly, Roland was Rouge’s older brother who sided with his father to fight against the clan.’

Miko recalled.

Behind him, Verde crushed the sword that pinned him up and freed himself.

His wound started to stitch itself up under everyone’s eyes.

“Verde, you can take this one. I’m not a good match against that bow.”

“Good call. To avoid this bow you need superior beast like senses that a Beastly Qi user would possess.”

Said KC.

Chika snorted and turned her attention to Nen who was tightening the bandages around his fists.

“Shall we?”

He asked after taking a fighting pose.

Chika took one of her own and smiled at him.

“Anytime you’re ready.”

The two rushed at each other at the same time.

Nen was the first to attack with a kick.

Chika jumped over it and swung her knee at his face. Nen then dropped himself to the floor to avoid it and roll out of the way.

When he got up Chika immediately swung her leg at his face.

Nen bent his back to avoid, however a block of earth flew out of the sand and hit him in the back and forced him into the kick.

*Boom!*

Chika got a clean hit in his face with her kick, which made him fly to the side.

Chika chased after him while creating a giant sword made of earth in her hand.

Nen flipped his body and landed on his feet. He wiped the blood from his mouth and watched Chika approach him.

“Looks like she wasn’t just boasting earlier.”

He placed his hands in a boxing stance.

Chika swung down her sword with a jump.

“?!”

However, mid-swing she realized that something wasn’t right.

‘Shit! I rushed in too early!’

She shouted in her head.

It was at this moment that the world seemed to have slowed down and was moving in slow motion.

She watched as Nen’s fist thrust forward leaving dozens of afterimages beside and behind it.

It was as if his hand had multiple.

And then-

*Boom!*

Chika was sent flying back while feeling as if she had been hit in a dozen different places simultaneously.

“Ugh?!”

She groaned as fist prints appeared all over her body.

*Boom!*

She crashed into Miko who caught her with one hand.

“You okay?”

He casually asked.

“I’m fine, I just let my guard down.”

She said as she stood on her own.

One could see cracks appearing her body.

Her skin then fell off piece by piece. No, it wasn’t her skin. It was pieces of earth.

“Oh? She formed an exoskeleton out of earth at the last second. That’s impressive.”

Said Aeon.

Chika walked towards Nen with a serious face.

“I underestimated you because you were born in such a peaceful era, but it looks like I was too conceited. For that I apologize.”

Chika’s voice lacked it’s cocky tone and had a more serious tone.

In a split second the air around her changed.

“Hm?”

Verde had been clashing with KC’s bow and was constantly being pinned or hit, stopped when he sensed the change in his sister.

“Is play time over already?”

He said as he stood in place.

*Boom!*

A violent burst of Beastly Qi was suddenly released from his body, accompanied by loud roars in his Beast core.

He took a step forward and the sand around him started to swirl like a tornado.

KC could see his eyes illuminating in the sand storm he created.

“This is bad.”

He said as he dropped his bow.

“I might die at this rate.”

*Boom!*

Verde and the sandstorm around him rushed towards KC like a sand bullet.

KC snapped his fingers and five soldiers formed a wall in front of him.

*Boom!*

They instantly turned into mush when Verde smashed into them.

By that time, KC had already retreated to a safe spot.

The bow in his hand glowed as he pulled it.

“16th Arrow: Law Piercer.”

He fired the silent arrow which bypassed the sand storm and aimed at the emblem in Verde's pocket.

However, Verde dodged it with minimal movement at the last second.

This didn’t surprise KC, who tactically retreated.

“Since I can’t afford to go all out so quickly, I'll avoid facing him for now. That guy is strong enough to represent any of the five branches.”

He said as he faded away.

*Boom!*

On the other side of the battle, Nen was suddenly punched in the chest so hard it cave in with bone crushing sounds.

He stumbled back and looked at Chika who held his emblem in her hand.

“W-What kind of strength is that?”

Nen asked while trying his best to keep standing.

The moment Chika took on a more serious attitude her strength reached a whole new level.

Her figure flickered and Nen leaned his head to the side.

A fist past it and cut his check.

“Oh? You can still keep up a little.”

Said Chika.

“Then how about this?”

*Boom!*

The next thing Nen knew he was cutting through the air like a bullet.

It was then that he finally felt where he was hit.

He held his nose that had been smashed in and forcibly fixed it.

*Boom!*

It was at that moment that he was planted into the ground by Chika’s fist.

“Hm?”

However, Chika’s fist was twisted in an odd shape after she hit him.

Nen wasn’t able to defend himself, but he was able to break her wrist.

“He’s already started adapting to my strength?”

Chika said with a hint of surprise.

She then saw Nen crawled out of the sand before getting to his feet.

“This kid, could he be a brawling prodigy?”

She mumbled to herself.

“Looks like i need to take this up another notch.”

Nen looked at her while loosening the bandages around his fists.

“What are you doing?”

However, KC appeared out of nowhere and stopped him from taking them off.

“She’s incredibly strong, so I need to take them off.”

Nen replied.

“Are you trying to kill her?”

“I don’t think she would die though…..Probably.”

“Forge it. We’re retreating and regrouping. Rin’s orders.”

“But she has my emblem.”

“Leave it. We can just make up for it by defeating some of the other members. There’s a chance of a round 2 as well. Don’t forget that this field is crawling with powerful enemies. We can’t afford to waste too much energy so early in the battle.”

KC explained.

Nen nodded after some thought and looked at Chika again.

He soon disappeared along with KC. However the battle between Primus and Secundus wasnt near over.

A battle 100 times more intense will occur in the future with every side giving it their all.

“They ran away?”

Chika said after seeing the two disappear.

“Looks like they’re conserving their strengths for tougher battles in the future.”

Miko walked up and said.

“It makes sense actually.”

It was then a computerized voice echoed through the arena.
