Lower Class District.

It was early in the morning and Edward Akabe was entering his office at the Royal Underground Association headquarters.

“Morning, Boss.”

Upon entering the building, he was greeted by his subordinates who were working hard at their specific jobs.

“Good morning.”

Edward greeted them with a smile while he made his way to his office.

He opened the door and froze when he looked inside.

“Yo, Partner.”

He saw Miko, who was covered in wounds, sitting in his chair.

“Don, what happened?”

“Are you talking about my wounds?”

Edward nodded.

“I kinda overdid it with my training. When I mean me, I mean Momo. Well, at least I’ve finally become a SS Class. I’ve been stuck at A Class for so long.”

He said while he stood up.

“I see.”

Edward shut the door and walked in.

“Anyway, Edward. We haven’t seen each other for a while, you know considering how busy we’ve both been. So I decided to pay you a visit.”

“I see. Thanks for visiting me. I was meaning to visit you personally, but the number of big shots hanging around the palace frightened the living shit out of me.”

Edward said with a laugh.

“Ah, sorry about that.”

Miko said with a laugh.

“Oh, there was something I meant to give you for a while now.”

“Give me something?”

Miko nodded and took something out of his pocket.

“Here.”

He threw it towards Edward who caught it.

“A ring?”

It was a thick gold ring that had the word General engraved in platinum on it.

Miko nodded.

“I had them made for my Generals, but I got sidetracked handing them out.”

“I see.”

Edward looked at the ring in awe.

“This must’ve been expensive.”

“Yeah. It costed quite a penny. But it’s significance is worth it.”

“You mean it proving that we’re Generals.”

Miko shook his head.

“It doesn’t only signify your position. It signifies that I’ve acknowledged you as a comrade…..Although it sounds cringe worthy when I say it out loud.”

Miko said with a laugh.

“I see. Comrade, huh.”

Edward smiled and placed the ring on his finger.

“I’ll be sure to live up to your expectations and become worthy of this ring.”

“Hey, hey. You’re being too formal.”

Miko patted his shoulders.

“Relax. I’ve read your reports, you’re doing a great job. You’ve even surpassed my expectations.”

Miko smiled.

“In fact, I came here to tell you to take a break.”

“A Break?”

“Yeah, I’m sure we both deserve one.”

“What about the RUA?”

“Leave some of your employees in charge. With the amount of monsters here now, I doubt anyone will get any bright ideas.”

Edward didn’t answered immediately and only nodded after a while.

“Alright. You’re the Don.”

Miko smiled.

“No, I’m the king.”

The two then proceeded to leave the office and exit the building.

Of course, Miko would draw unnecessary attention, so he used Stealth to make himself invisible.

“So where are we going?”

Edward asked.

“Hmm…since I’ve already handed you your ring, let’s just go with the flow and pay the others a visit as well.”

Miko replied.

Outside the walls of the Capital City.

Miko and Edward arrived at the camp for Royal Corps, which was near the eastern wall.

“Hmm….looks like Alexus and the Tertitus Branch kept their promise to fix the country.”

Miko said while looking around.

The destruction at the hands of the the branch leaders battle was nowhere to be found. This satisfied Miko, especially when he realized that some parts were remade better than they original was.

“Maybe I should assign the Tertitus Branch to be the country’s permanent caretakers?”

He said to himself.

‘Ah, now that I think about it. The one who was in charged of repairing the kingdom was Alec’s, Ren’s, and Kirika’s father, Alexis. I haven’t met him before. I wonder what kind of person is he?’

He thought to himself.

While he was thinking that, he and Edward arrived at the encampment.

“The king!”

The moment he entered the camp he immediately drew everyone’s attention.

The soldiers quickly swarmed around him and started to make a ruckus.

Miko handled it with a smile, while continuing to walk. The soldiers uniformly gave him room to walk and didn’t dare to block his path.

“Where is your leader?”

He asked.

“The General is away on business at the moment!”

A high ranking soldier responded.

‘So Leon is still with Rihan. I guess I need to strip him of his title and temporary give Ace and Sora full authority over the military.’

Miko thought to himself.

“Are there any other generals in the vicinity?”

“Yes. Three, My lord.”

The soldier responded.

“Which three?”

*Boom!*

Before the soldier could respond, a loud explosion could be heard a bit in the distance.

Miko focused his senses in that direction and smiled soon after.

“Let’s go, Edward.”

Edward nodded and the two headed towards the explosion.

After walking for a bit, they could see dust blowing in the air, and could hear the explosions much clearer.

That’s when a tree suddenly shot towards them.

Miko lifted his hand up and lightning hit the tree and caused it to explode.

“Tch. They’re destroying what the Tertitus Branch just finished repairing.”

He clicked his tongue and said.

“Well, whatever. I’ll just turn this area into an official training ground.”

He said as he walked closer.

Edward carefully followed behind him as well.

The closer Miko got the more devastated the place looked.

*Boom!*

All of a sudden, someone slammed into Miko.

Miko reacted fast and jumped back the moment he got hit to avoided Edward from getting injured.

He landed on the ground and his feet slid on the ground, until he regained a firm footing.

“Phew.”

He sighed in relief when he finally came to a stop.

He looked down and frowned.

“What are you doing, Sora?”

Miko asked Sora who was limped in his arms.

“T-That guy is a monster.”

He struggled to his feet and said.

He took off his jacket that had a hole in it and threw it one side.

“Where’s Ace?”

Miko asked.

“Over there.”

Sora replied.

*Boom!*

“Hm?”

Miko looked up and saw something cutting through the air while passing him overhead.

“Oh, there he goes.”

Sora said, while watching Ace being blown in the distance.

Miko shook his head and advanced towards where Ace and Sora were blown from.

There he saw Kaido in thorn up clothes standing by himself.

“Oh, Miko. You came to spar too?”

Kaido asked after seeing Miko.

Miko shook his head.

“I’m a little bent up from my training earlier. I doubt I can give you a good spar.”

He replied.

“Nonsense. You’re someone who gets stronger with the more damage you take.”

Kaido said with a smile.

‘Oh? It looks like he’s getting a hand on how to express his emotions again.’

Miko thought to himself.

“Sora, how was Kaido?”

Miko asked Sora.

“A monster.”

Sora replied immediately.

Miko laughed.

“Kaido, what about Ace and Sora?”

“They’re pretty strong. They call me a monster, but they who are 100% human but can push me so far, are monsters themselves.”

Kaido said.

Miko looked at Kaido and then back at Sora.

There was a fist-size hole in Sora jacket, but he didn’t really have that much scratches on him, while Kaido on the other hand was covered with scratches.

They weren’t anything major, but the fact that Sora and Ace could scratch him while keeping the damage to themselves at a minimal showed their growth.

“I’m alive!”

At this moment, Ace appeared out of nowhere with his clothes torn up, he had more scratches than Sora but not as much as Kaido.

‘They ganged up against him, but this is still impressive.’

“Yo Miko.”

Ace greeted Miko.

“I heard that you destroyed the Saevio clan. I never thought you would, to be honest.”

“...The opportunity just presented itself.”

Miko replied.

“Oh, by the way. Thanks for the help, Sora. Thanks to your acting in front of the crowd, people actually thought that I had I died for real.”

“It was a pain explaining to the public that everything was just an act after that. Especially after the Saevio Clan’s fall.”

Sora replied.

“I want a raise!”

He suddenly shouted.

Miko ignored him and threw the three of them rings similar to the ones Edward received.

“Getting a ring from a man, just doesn’t feel right.”

Said Ace.

“Hey, can I pawn this?”

Asked Sora.

“You ungrateful motherfuckers...”

Miko growled.

Kaido looked at the ring for a while before putting it on.

He then noticed that Edward was wearing one as well.

“I see. It’s a General ring.”

Miko nodded.

“At least one of you have a little sense.”

“Forget the rings.”

Ace said while putting it on.

“I heard you fought against some interesting guys. Were they strong?”

“Yeah. They were. The one called Ren fought and severely hurt Kaido.”

“I was just caught off guard.”

Kaido defended himself.

“Really? Then how would we fair against them, your generals?”

Sora asked.

“Hmmm…..”

Miko entered deep thought while recalling everyone’s strength.

“First, let me rank my generals in order. That will make it easier for me.”

“Go ahead.”

Miko stooped down and wrote on the ground.

“Let’s start from strongest to weakest.”

4. Jin/Kaido/Luka

6. Ace

“As expected, I’m dead last.”

Edward said after seeing what Miko wrote.

“Wait, I can’t approve of this list.”

Said Ace.

“How is Sora Higher than me?”

“Because I’m stronger.”

Sora replied.

“You wanna find out?”

Ace said with a challenging tone.

Sora ignored him and looked at the list.

“But this is surprising though. Jin and Kaido are on the same level as Luka. I thought only Miko among us could match her.”

Miko looked at Kaido.

“You have any problems with the list?”

Kaido shook his head.

“It’s pretty accurate.”

Miko nodded.

“Okay, let me make a list of the those I fought with from my clan.”

He proceeded to write again.

“So that Ren guy is tied 4th with that crazy guy.”

Kaido said after checking the list.

Miko pointed at Verde and Chika’s name on the list.

“First of all, none of you are on the same level as these two. Not even myself without Deus Malum.”

He then pointed at Krul.

“He’s a bit difficult because he has two personalities which have different levels of strength. If it’s the weaker personality Krul then he’s weaker my Sin King form, which means he’s below Kaido, Luka and Jin as well.”

“Then what about his other personality?”

Kaido asked.

“He’s higher than my Sin King and could contend my Deus Malum first stage for a bit, but he can’t defeat it.”

“Meaning?”

“Meaning that, since the three of you can fight Dark Apostle to the end, you’re all stronger than him but not by a large amount.”

“I see.”

Kaido said with a nod.

It was then Miko looked at the position of the sun to learn the time.”

He stood up.

“It’s getting late. I need to go to my next training session.”

“In the Primus World?”

Miko shocked his head.

“The Tertitus World.”

He smiled.

“You want to come?”
