“The brat said what?!”

In the middle of the Aloe Kingdom army, Rico shouted in shock.

“He said that our intel is fake and that we have 15 minutes to prepare for a battle to the death.”

The female soldier reported.

“Grr! That damn brat!”

Rico roared in anger.

“What do we do now, General?”

The soldier asked.

“What do we do? Isn’t that obvious?!”

He gripped the reins of his mount with bloodshot eyes.

“We fight to the death!”

He roared.

“ If that brat wants a fight then we’ll bring it to him!”

He swung his hand in a dramatic way.

“Tell all troops, hold nothing back! Use everything at our disposal and destroy that brat and his kingdom! We’ll paint this world in blood!”

“Sir yes, sir!”

For the first time the female soldier looked at Rico with admiration. Despite everything he was, he was still the commander for this mission.

Meanwhile Miko remained in front of the crater he created with his arms crossed in front of his chest.

“Gulp.”

All those who were keeping an eye on him couldn’t help but to gulp when they met his draconic eyes, that were filled with bloodlust.

Even his starry aura was leaking with menace, as if he was a dark star getting ready to explode.

Just him standing there made them feel like they were awaiting death, and Miko was their executioner.

Soon fifteen minutes came to past. By that time the soldiers were all ready for battle. Of course, Miko was ready from the get go.

“Now then….”

He took a step forward and his killing intent spread across the land like a tidal wave.

“ Shall we begin?”

The moment he said that, countless stars appeared behind him.

“Engage!”

The soldiers roared and rushed towards Miko like madmen.

Miko smiled when he saw that and charged towards them as well.

The soldiers at the front all halted and got on their knees. They all aimed bazooka-like weapons at Miko as he moved towards them.

“Heh.”

The stars behind Miko shone brighter.

“Fire!”

“Lets go!”

Simultaneously, the stars turned into light beams and charged towards the soldiers, while the bazookas released powerful blasts.

*BOOM!*

A large explosion destroyed everything in the surroundings.

“Hahahahaha!”

Miko flew out of the smoke and into the army with a mad laugh.

*BOOM!*

He swung his arm and dozens of bodies were blown to pieces. Even so the soldiers didn’t falter.

“Fight!”

They all charged towards Miko and started hurling all kinds of attacks at Miko. They quickly devoured him like a tsunami.

*BOOM!*

Miko started throwing punches and kicks in every direction, destroying dozens with every movement.

The soldiers and Miko then engaged in a massive melee.

*BOOM!*

“That’s it! Come at me, warriors!”

He roared as his entire figure was stained in blood.

Elsewhere.

Kouta who was the first of the team other than Miko to fly into battle, was directly over the Aloe Kingdom army.

“Hm?”

Upon looking down at them, he realized that the army sights were already locked on him and they were ready to go.

“Miko must’ve informed them of our attack.”

Christian appeared beside him, standing on a small twister.

“His goal must be to push us all into a corner, and test our limits.”

“Hmph. What a meaningless action.”

Kouta smirked as lightning sparks danced around him.

“Don’t be like that. Just consider it his form training.”

Said Christian.

“More importantly…”

Kouta faced Christian.

“How about a competition between us?”

“Competition?”

“Yeah. Who can destroy the most enemies.”

“Why would we participate in something so meaningless? The enemies are going to be annihilated anyway.”

“Come on, let’s just do it.”

Kouta insisted.

“Sigh, fine.”

Christian opened his palm and a silver orb appeared in his hand. It was the same orb Miko had given him.

“Let’s just make this quick.”

Kouta took out his golden orb given to him by Miko, with a grin.

“Hehehe. That’s my brother.”

At that moment, Christian’s orb changed shape into a silver staff. Meanwhile, Kouta’s changed into two golden tommy guns.

“Hahaha! Let’s go!”

Kouta flew into the army with a laugh.

“Enemy attack!”

The soldiers immediately began their counterattack. Countless soldiers wearing jet busters and other flying equipment took to the skies.

“Oh? An aerial battle, huh? And they’re using some really high powered weapons. If I didn’t have some of my own, I would be in trouble.”

Kouta clinched the handles of his gun.

“Hahaha!”

He charged forward, seeing that the soldiers opened fire on him. He skillfully maneuver himself to avoid the blasts.

His guns started producing electric sparks at the nozzles.

“Take this!”

*BOOM!*

A downpour of lightning bullets rained down on the soldiers.

*BOOM!*

The bullets hit some of them out of the sky and sent them crashing into the ground. The soldiers on the ground were also hit by countless lightning bullets that instantly electrocute them.

The soldier who had avoided Kouta’s attacks, fired at him again but this time Kouta’s entire vision were covered by countless bullets.

He flew through the air, skillfully dodging them.

“Die!”

That’s when soldiers wielding light swords attack him from front and behind.

“Bring it!”

He used his guns to block the attacks from the front and then skillfully dipped in the air to dodge those from the back.

“?!”

That’s when he had to spin around and blocked a shot aiming from behind him with one of his guns.

“Ugh?!”

The force from the shot sent him flying back.

“A sniper?”

Christian who was watching this commented calmly.

*BOOM!*

That’s when dozens of missiles fired from below and hit him directly.

“Snipers and AA Missiles.”

A gust below away the smoke caused by the explosion, and revealed that Christian was unarmed. He was surround by a wall of wind.

“Theses weapons seem to be linked with MYTH. The Aloe Kingdom was richer than I thought.”

He calmly said.

“Now then, I guess I should find out just how many weapons they possess.”

He spun his staff in air, immediately after the clouds in the sky started moving in a circular manner.

“Plus Kouta said he wanted to compete. Not only that, What kind of person would I be if I don’t show my good sides to my little cousin?”

He stopped spinning his staff and swung it down. Immediately after a shocking scene occurred.

As if the gods were ferocious, a gigantic twister descended from the heavens and struck the ground.

*BOOM!*

The twister ripped everything apart and forcefully lifted the soldiers and their vehicles in the air, while tearing them apart. It was as if they were dragged into a blender.

“Wow. When was the last time I’ve seen him use that?”

Kouta said in admiration as he stared at the twister Christian created.

“Alright! Time for me to get serious as well.”

The tommy guns suddenly started flowing, and lightning started dancing in Kouta’s eyes.

A gigantic sigil appeared in the sky and another on the ground.

“Lightning Serpent Gate!”

Suddenly the sigil in the sky opened like a gate, revealing a world of pure thunder and lightning. From it emerged a gigantic serpent-shaped lightning bolt. This lightning bolt then proceed to wreck havoc on the army turning everything it came across into ashes.

“R-Retreat! Retreat! Guaaaaah?!”

A high ranking officer was devoured by the lightning bolt after giving his men orders.

“Retreat? Unfortunately, that’s no longer an opinion. From now on it’s kill or be killed!”

Kouta snapped his fingers and the second sigil on the ground opened up and revealed the same thunderous world from before. As expected, another serpent-shaped lightning bolt emerged and instantly began wrecking havoc.

“Don’t falter!”

A roar so loud it overshadowed the lightning bolts, echoed through the battlefield.

A muscular man wearing a tight fit military uniform appeared in front of Kouta.

“General Rashad!”

The soldiers became excited when he made his appearance.

“Don’t falter! Don’t forget that this is war! If we lose hear what do you think will happen to our love ones back home?! Death, death is what awaits them! I don’t know about all of you but I have a daughter who I must protect even if I die! Don’t you all have someone you must protect too?!”

The soldiers all looked at each other with fighting spirit burning in their eyes. It was obvious that they all respected this general.

“Take up your weapons and fight! If your weapons are useless use your fists! Just keep fighting until the whole world knows that they mustn’t touch the Aloe Kingdom!”

“Yeah!”

The soldiers roared.

“Oh. This guy is good.”

Kouta said as he watched as the soldiers who were fleeing earlier looked at him with fighting spirit.

Rashad got off his horse and looked up in the sky.

“Warriors of Dragna! I am General Rashad of the Aloe Kingdom! State your names so that I can know who I’m fighting!”

“Our names? Why would we-”

“Christian Dragna.”

Christian answered interrupting Kouta.

“Wha?!....,Fine. Kouta Dragna. Be sure to remember it.”

Kouta beat his chest and proudly said.

“Kouta and Christian huh. Very well, prepare yourself!”

Rashad pulled a spear out of nowhere.

“From now you’re about to witness the true strength of my kingdom!”

*BOOM!*

A powerful burst of power was instantly released from his body.

“Oh? A XXX Class. I heard that they were a few inside the Aloe Kingdom. Looks like he’s one.”

Christian said after feeling Rashad’s power.

“Kouta, we’ll take him together.”

“No way. I want to fight him myself.”

Kouta replied.

“Don’t be conceited. Neither of us have yet to master our weapons enough to take on a XXX Class. This isn’t a suggestion. This is an order.”

Christian said with a cold glare.

“All right, all right. Anything you say.”

Kouta changed his tommy guns into two golden gauntlets and landed in front of the soldiers.

“However, I’m the vanguard. You’re the support.”

“…..Do as you like.”

Kouta smiled when he heard that and slammed his fists together.

“Hehehe. You heard that old man? We’re ready to go.”

Rashad took a fighting stance with his spear.

“Come!”

“You don’t need to tell me twice!”

The two charged forward at the same time.

Rashad thrust his spear, while Kouta thrust his fist.

*BOOM!*

The two collided and caused a massive explosion to spread out.

Kouta was blown back a few meters, while Rashad stood in place.

“I see. This would be tough alone.”

A savage smile appeared on his face.

“?!”

When Rashad saw it he immediately felt a chill down his spine.

‘W-What is this immense bloodlust I’m feeling?’

It was then he could've sworn he saw the image of a golden dragon appear behind Kouta.

The dragon was covered with electric sparks and had its fang and claws stained with blood. This image made Rashad feel a strong sense of danger.

“Looks like I’ll be able to truly go wild for the first time in a while.”

Said Kouta.

“Come, old man! Let’s tear each other apart!”
