With the news of Miko’s return reaching the ears of his love ones, the Dragna Empire which was already like a group of mad beasts became even wilder.

The armies sieged enemy bases one by one, brutally killing anyone they came across before taking the bases for themselves.

As it stands, the Dragna side had already covered all the loses it experience at the hands of the Alliance ten times over. They had made sure to pay them back for everything they’ve done with excess.

Even so, the East just wouldn’t give in. They continued to fight the mad beasts of the Dragna Empire with no intention of backing down. The reason for this wasn’t just because Lennox was leading them. No, it was something more.

The east just didn’t want to give in. In other words, they were just being as stubborn as a mule. They refused to given despite all their loses, and continued to fight.

This wasn't a show of heroic spirit, this was just pure recklessness. However, it’s because they’re reckless why people like Lennox enjoys fighting along side them.

Speaking of the Human God, he was inside the stronghold looking down on the person on the ground.

“Who’s this?”

Asked Ezra, who was also looking down on the same person.

“Drake.”

“Huh? This is Drake?!”

Ezra was shocked to hear this. This was because the person who laid before them was just skin and bones, completely different from the chubby Drake that he knew.

“I’ve said it already, haven’t I? Drake uses his fat as fuel to power his barriers. However, he had to use his barriers so much in this war that the rate he burnt fat far exceeded the rate he stacked it up.”

“And this is the end result?”

Lennox nodded.

Drake laid on the ground breathing heavily with his eyes seemly unfocused.

“Hey, Paige and Touma. Come out of hiding.”

Lennox looked around and said.

Shortly, Paige was seen emerging from a soldier’s shadow, while Touma peeked out from a tree; upside down by the way.

“Boss, with all do respect I feel safer here.”

Said Paige.

“Yeah, me too.”

Touma agreed.

“Why are those two hiding?”

Ezra asked with a confused look.

“You’ve never heard about it before?”

Skyler appeared from a lightning bolt behind Ezra and asked.

“Heard about what?”

Ezra turned around and asked.

“How Drake became a Tyrant.”

“Now that I think about it, I haven’t. I just heard that there was a tyrant that specialized in defense.”

“If that’s the case, how did someone who only defends became a tyrant?”

After Ezra heard Skylar’s question, he started to think. It was definitely weird that a tyrant like Drake existed, since he only defends.

“You don’t need to rack your brain trying to figure it out.”

Lennox said as he picked up Drake.

“Because he’s ready to show you.”

“Ekk!”

When they heard that, Paige and Touma immediately went into hiding. Skyler also left, which caused Ezra to freak out.

Lennox picked up Drake and approached the gates to the stronghold.

“Open up!”

After his shout, the guards obeyed and opened the gates. Lennox walked out carrying Drake with one hand.

“If I remember correctly, rouge should be in that direction.”

He said.

“Consider this revenge for Kirin!”

He then took a step forward and threw the starving Drake with all of his strength.

Drake cut through the air like an arrow. He soon arrived in the area where the Dragna army was stationed.

“Hm?”

Rouge, who was the commanding officer, sensed something quickly approaching. When he looked in the sky, he saw a scrawny person flying towards him.

“Shoot it down!”

Rouge immediately ordered.

The army immediately opened fire on Drake.

*BOOM!*

Drake was hit with countless blast which caused a massive explosion in the air. Drake fell out of the smoke cloud in the air and slowly crashed onto the ground.

“What was that?”

Rouge said.

Immediately after he felt his phone vibrating. When he looked at the caller id, he saw that it was Nero.

“What is it?”

He answered the phone and said.

“Nothing much. I just figured that I should give you a word of warning since you’re the closest to the alliance stronghold.”

Nero said.

“Warning?”

“Yeah. Drake should be running out of fat anytime now, so be careful.”

When Rouge heard that, he suddenly recalled a rumor he heard once. Nero continued.

“I know that you’re the type of arrogant guy that won’t bother to research the Tyrants in the world, so let me inform you now.”

As Nero spoke, Rouge could see the burnt body of Drake struggle to its feet.

“Once Drake loses all his body fat, he’ll suffer from a great insatiable hunger. It’s when he experiences that hunger that his true self surfaces. A savage beast that devours everything in fronts him. A beast that doesn’t defends itself, it just attack and rip his prey apart leaving not even bones behind.”

Drake’s body swayed from side to side as if it couldn’t stand straight.

“The other name of Barrier King Drake is Cannibal Drake.”

“……..”

Drake finally stood firm and stared in Rouge’s direction with vacant eyes.

“Shit.”

Rouge cursed and threw his phone away.

“All troops retreat!”

The moment he shouted, Drake rushed forward. Rouge tried to intercept him, but when he tried to grabbed him all he grabbed was air.

“So fast!”

Rouge quickly turned around and saw Drake grab hold of a soldier. Before the soldier could even scream, Drake sunk his teeth into the man’s neck and ripped a hole in it.

The man screamed as blood sprayed from his neck wound. Rouge moved to stopped Drake, but once again drake’s speed surprised him.

Drake escaped and appeared in the middle of the army with first soldier being quickly devoured. Drake munched on the body while sucking it down his throat like it was noodles.

The soldiers watched in horror as Drake’s mouth expanded to swallow the man from his shoulder to his hips. A second later his entire body entered Drake’s mouth and was crushed under Drake’s teeth.

Drake didn’t possess any form of fangs. What he used to tear his victim apart was his human teeth.

“Fuck!”

Rouge drew his saber and rushed forward moving the soldiers out of his way. He quickly appeared in front of Drake.

He swung his sword, which Drake bent his back and avoid. He used the momentum to do a handstand and slapped rouge with his foot.

Drake then took advantage of the fact that Rouge couldn’t use his full power because of the risk of killing his own soldiers, and systematically attack soldiers and rip them apart with his teeth.

“The hell? This guy can actually devise strategies in this state?”

Rouge was surprised by how diverse this Drake was.

Meanwhile, Drake moved between the soldiers like the wind. He circled around a woman’s back and bit into it.

“Ahhhhhhh?!”

The woman screamed out in agony as Drake ripped out her spine with his teeth and immediately started crushing it in his mouth.

Rouge thrust his sword through the woman and stabbed into Drake’s chest. This surprised both the woman and Drake.

“If I can’t protect them, then I’ll have to sacrifice a few of them to save the majority.”

Rouge said.

*BOOM!*

Drake’s chest which was stabbed, exploded and caused Drake’s blood to spout into the air.

“Die!”

Rouge moved in for the kill with a sword thrust to the exposed heart. However what happened next was something that far exceeded what he could expect.

Drake quickly bent forward and shattered Rouge’s sword with his teeth.

“Wha?!”

It didn’t stop there. Drake continued to munch on the sword until he ate Rouge’s arm at lightning speed. After he ate rouge’s arm he launched himself forward and devoured the upper bodies of nearly a dozen soldiers who were lined up behind each other in an instant.

When he stopped, he was seen slurping down some intestines like it was spaghetti.

*BOOM!*

That’s when he was blown away with everybody around by an explosion.

“You son of a bitch!”

When Drake looked up, he saw Rouge who had became a dark red silhouette with a burning crimson aura surrounding his body.

“Shit! The master has lost it!”

The soldiers who knew rouge, immediately started to run for their lives.

“I’m gonna destroy you. I won’t even spare a single atom!”

Rouge lifted his hand and a burning ball started appeared in his palm. This ball looked like it had what it took to destroy this entire region if not the neighboring ones as well.

Even so, the vacant eyed Drake just looked at rouge like he was a snack, and even started to approach him.

*Bong!*

That’s when the sound of a bell rang out. When Rouge heard the bell he froze for a second.

In that second, Drake was getting ready to pounce.

“Change of plans.”

However, that’s when Lennox appeared in front of him and stopped him.

“Rouge, my apologies but it looks like our contract with the former Seven Moon Alliance has ended. Since that’s the case, we’re issuing a ceasefire and are leaving the continent.”

Lennox’s words confused Rouge. But from the pained expression on his face and the disappointed aura he gave off, he seemed to be telling the truth.

Somehow, Rouge calm down. If he had forced the fight, that would give New Era the excuse to use their full force to come and crush the Dragna Clan. Since they were already tired from months of war, inviting New Era would truly be the end of them.

As such, he dropped his hands to his side.

“Fine. But prepare yourself, Lennox. The Dragna Clan will get our revenge on New Era for what they’ve done during this war.”

“I’ll keep that in mind.”

Since it wasn’t the right time for either sides to clash because they lacked the force to decide a clear winner, Rouge threat was ignored.

Lennox grabbed a couple soldiers and threw them at Drake who quickly tore them apart. He then grabbed Drake and bowed to rouge before leaving.

Let’s rewind time a bit before Lennox issued a ceasefire between New Era and the Dragna Clan.

“What did you say?”

He was back in the stronghold when the leading respective of the alliance, Chloe approached him and reported something shocking.

“My empire is currently experiencing a coup. I just received the reports myself. Apparently, the citizens from the various countries that make up the empire suddenly started demanding that I step down as Empress.”

She said.

“It’s not only my empire, all the empires that make up the alliance are experiencing similar situations. There are reports of riots all over our countries.”

Her face was paled and her body was trembling. It was obvious that she was one step from having a panic attack. The fact that she didn’t was proof of her mental strength.

“……….”

Lennox silently reflect upon her words.

‘Coups in all seven empires? There’s no way that’s a coincidence. This was premeditated, but how long was this in the making?’

Lennox thought.

That’s when Miko’s face popped up in his mind.

“I see. We lost this war long before it even began. These fights were just buying time until these coups happened. These coups didn't need to successful, as long as they happened during war the countries are sure to collapse. After that, taking the East will be as easy as breathing.”

He muttered to himself.

“Hm?”

That’s when the communicator in his pocket started vibrating. He didn’t need to look to know who it was from.

“Yo, Ringo.”

He answered, and as expected he saw Ringo on the monitor.

“Yo, Lennox. Looks like you already know why I’m calling.”

“I’m not withdrawing from this war.”

Lennox immediately said.

“But you must Lennox. So far you’ve been using the 7 Moon Alliance as pretense to fight in this war, now that the alliance is no more, then you have no excuse to stay.”

Ringo said.

“If you continue to fight in the war, it will be interpreted as the New Era declaring war on the Dragna Clan. If we pick a fight with them it will be on a bigger scale than the battle you’re in now. It won’t finish until one side is completely eradicated. Considering all the secret weapons that they possess, a war with them will result in us suffering heavy loses.”

“I don’t care about that. This war is fun, I’ll regret it if I don’t see it through to the end.”

Lennox replied.

“Unfortunately you don’t have any choice in the manner.”

“Oh? Elaborate.”

Ringo smiled.

“A meeting was held among the remaining leaders when you left to join this war. In that meeting we all decided that if the alliance loses we would withdraw.”

He said.

“You are just one of the leaders, Lennox. You can’t risk our fate on your whims. Besides, what about your subordinates? Are you going to get them all killed? I’m the one who has to answer to Killo if his daughter dies you know. I don’t want to face an angry killo. I don’t have nearly enough lives.”

Ringo furrowed his eyebrows.

“Not to mention that Julio Zebul is a part of this war as well. We can’t face both the Dragna Clan and the Zebul Empire at the same time with our current strength. You want to doom us all? Are you that worthless son who picks fight with everyone just to get acknowledged by his parents? Please stop, you’re already an adult.”

Lennox sighed when he heard that.

“Fine! I’m coming back with everyone!”

After he said that Lennox left with his Tyrants, leaving Skylar, Ezra, and Benkei to decided their next actions.

While racing to leave the continent, Lennox muttered something under his breath.

“Just how did Miko cause all the countries in the alliance to riot?”
