After plunging the west in chaos, Miko stealthily snuck out of the region and returned to the east where the Dragna army was currently stationed.

He immediately noticed the lack of Hell residents in the area and had a bad feeling.

“Looks like Julio is abandoning everything else and is concentrating his forces in the south.”

Miko spoke to him.

“The chance of him wanting to finish everything with one last battle is high.”

Miko smiled.

“That’s fine by me. I’ll rip him and the three hells apart.”

He flew towards the former base of the Seven Moon Alliance while observing the surroundings.

“They sure reduced this place into a huge wasteland.”

Miko mumbled to himself.

He soon arrived at the base, and approached the gates that led inside. He pushed it opened and walked inside.

“Hm?”

“Welcome back, Miko!”

He was greeted by countless cheers from his allies.

“What’s this? A party?”

He looked around and said.

“Welcome back, Bro!”

Tessa ran up and hugged him.

“I don’t get it, but thanks.”

Miko said while rubbing her head.

“Hehehe. It’s been so long since you’ve done this.”

Tessa laughed and said.

‘The sinister feeling in her disappeared? Could the killing she’s done during the war allow her to relieve some mental stress?’

Miko noted a difference in his sister which made a bit happy. He couldn’t help but to genuinely smile.

‘If that’s so then it’s for the best. I’m the only monster that should exist in this family.’

“It’s good to see you smiling again, Miko.”

Sasha walked up to him and said.

“I was a bit worried with you being like that. Surprisingly though, seeing you like that made me reevaluate myself and figure out what kind of person I really want to be.”

She said with a gentle smile.

“I see. You’ve grown.”

Miko looked at her warmly and said.

“I’m the one that’s suppose to be saying that to you.”

Sasha laughed and said.

“I guess you’re right.”

He looked at Kimiko who was in the back.

“Long time no see, Grams. Thanks for protecting my mother and sister.”

“You’re acting as if we’re strangers. It’s natural for me to protect my family.”

“I see.”

‘Then you wouldn’t mind protecting them when I’m gone.’

Miko thought to himself.

“Where are those from my team?”

“Right behind you.”

Miko heard a familiar voice and turned around to see Momo and the others.

“We just arrived after regrouping.”

Said Alec.

“Mikky!”

The first to approach him was Hina.

“Is it true that you got your emotions back?!”

She asked anxiously.

Miko nodded.

“It’s true.”

“I see.”

She hugged him.

“I’m so glad. The you before was so cold and distant.”

She said.

“You got that right.”

Momo parted the two of them and smiled at Miko.

Miko smiled back at her, and then-

*Bam!*

She hit him with an uppercut. Miko flew back and landed on his back.

“That was for turning off your emotions instead of leaning on us for support.”

She said.

“I don’t remember training someone so weak that they would run away like that.”

Miko slowly sat up and looked at her. There he saw her shoulders trembling and tears gathering in her eyes.

“Do you know how painful it was to see you like that? Just looking at you made it feel like my heart had turned into a pin cushion.”

She said while holding herself back from crying.

“Do you know how much it hurt being treated like a stranger by you? I felt like I lost another precious person.”

She gritted her teeth.

“That’s it! I let me pound you for a bit and release some stress!”

Momo marched towards Miko again but was held back by Kirika.

“Let me go! Just an arm! At least make me break his arm or I won’t feel better! He won’t mind, I do it all the time!”

Said struggled and shouted.

“Just what kind of relationship do you two have?”

Kirika asked with a sighed.

“For some reason, I feel more threatened than when I faced Lennox.”

Miko said with a bitter smile.

“You okay?”

Bloom walked up to him and extended a hand, with Luka standing behind her.

“Yeah. I’m fine.”

Miko took her hand and let her help him up.

“Hearing what Momo said, I kind of feel bad.”

“You should.”

Bloom said with a stern tone.

“You made a lot of people worry you know.”

“I wasn’t worried. I knew that you weren’t that weak.”

Said Luka.

“Say, do you always have to try and act cool all the time? You can be honest like Hina and Momo you know.”

Bloom looked at her and said.

“This is my character. I can’t help it.”

Luka fold her arms in front of her chest and said.

“Character, you say?”

“Ah, it doesn’t matter.”

Hina cut in.

“I know that Luka was really depressed too.”

She wrapped her arms around her and said.

Luka looked the other way and stayed quiet. This reaction caused Hina to laugh at her.

“Well, isnt this great?”

Ace walked up to Miko and wrapped his arm around Miko’s neck.

“So many beautiful women willing to cry for you.”

He suddenly put Miko in a headlock.

“You make me envious, you bastard.”

He laughed and said.

Miko punched him in the stomach and forced him to let go.

“Damn, I can feel last night dinner coming out!”

Ace fell on his knees and said while holding his stomach.

“You didn’t have to hit him that hard.”

Sora walked up to him and said.

“Reflex.”

Miko said.

“Well, anyway its good to have you back man.”

They bumped their fists together.

“Thanks.”

Sora looked like he wanted to say something else, but he held it in and walked away. Miko noticed this, but decided to not force him to speak.

“Kaido, I owe you apology for how I treated Edward’s death.”

Miko looked towards Kaido and said.

“Don’t let it trouble you. I understood that you were hurt, far more than I was. I’m just glad that you’re back to your old self.”

Kaido showed a rare smile.

“I’m sure Code Breaker is happy too.”

Miko smiled and nodded.

He then turned to those from his clan.

“I would also like to apologize for acting like how I did, despite being the one that’s suppose to lead you guys.”

“Miko is properly apologizing?”

Said Rin

“And he’s not acting arrogant in the least?”

Said Ashur

“It’s a miracle.”

“Said Krul.

“Fuck off.”

Miko cursed.

“Now now, cousin.”

Kouta walked up to him and said.

“There’s no need to get upset. They’re joking.”

“What do you want?”

Miko asked after seeing him act like Nova when he wanted to ask Momo for a quick photo shoot.

“I want to borrow a thunder attribute scroll from the treasure vault. I clashed a few times with the Thunder Emperor and found myself lacking.”

Kouta quickly answered.

“Fine. I’ll make Rouge give you some later.”

Miko answered.

“Alright!”

Kouta celebrated.

‘Like father like son.’

Miko thought.

“Anyway, let’s meet up with the others. We need to share info.”

The former HQ of the alliance.

Miko had gathered the central figures of the clan along with his team to go over the events of the war so far.

“So you Lennox and the others deserted the alliance after the rebellions began.”

Miko sat at the head of a long table where everyone was seated.

“Well, that wasn’t what I expected. I thought that at least a few of them would stay back.”

He said.

“Looks like Kirin’s death lingered on their minds, so they ran when they could.”

Said Rouge.

“Are you boasting, you narcissist?”

Nero said with a frown.

“I’m not boasting. I just stated a fact.”

Rouge calmly replied.

“Hmph. You are boasting. Don’t get cocky because you got to kill a big name.”

“Oh, I’m sorry. And just who did you kill other than nameless fodder.”

Rouge snapped back.

“Silence, you maid maniac!”

“Who you’re calling a maniac?! Besides, what’s wrong with maids?! They’re hot!”

Rouge blurted.

“Ah, he finally admitted he has a fetish.”

Echo said.

“Ah, this is the worst! There were so many big names, but I wasn’t able to kill one of them! And to make it worst, this pervert who secretly likes to wear women underwear did!”

“Stop spreading lies, you piece of shit!”

Rouge slammed his hand on the table and said.

Everyone in the room was looking at him with disgust.

“Wait, it’s a lie! I swear!”

Chika whispered to Rin.

“Dammit! I even fought them the most, but was still unable to kill them! It must be Lennox fault! His power caused this! Fucking Plot Armor!”

Nero shouted.

Miko cleared his throat and said.

“Just a second. FUCKING PLOT ARMOR!!!!!!......Go ahead.”

Nero said.

Miko sighed.

“Anyway, regarding the rebellion I would like to thank the members of Fate who worked so hard to make it happen.”

Miko gestured towards Robin and the others who were standing behind Luka.

“If it wasn’t for you guys, this wouldn’t have been possible.”

“We did it for Lulu, not you.”

Said Robin.

“Either way, I’m grateful. I promise that you’ll receive the rewards you deserve.”

Miko replied with a smile.

‘He’s different from what he was 6 years ago.’

Robin thought.

He looked at Luka who was looking at Miko with love and passion and sighed.

“Well, I heard that they’re already an official couple, and she does look happy. So I guess it’s okay.”

He muttered.

“I would also like to thank you all for fighting so hard to buy time, so that they could complete their missions.”

Miko looked at those at the table and thanked them.

“We were gunning for a victory though.”

Said Alexus.

“I even invented some mecha to use and crush our enemies, but the war ended before I even got to test them. Tsk!”

Alexus clicked his tongue in irritation.

“Well, we have many other enemies to use them on.”

“Ah, you’re right.”

Alexus suddenly showed a evil smile.

“That means I get to use my Hyper Bazooka and Hyper Hammer.”

He started to snicker evilly.

“Ah, could you rename those weapons? You know, copyright issues.”

Miko said.

“Anyway, allow me to answer the question that you’ve all had on your mind. Just what was that suppressing pressure you felt yesterday?”

Everyone turned serious when they heard Miko brought that up.

“The one who caused that pressure was none other than one of the most powerful monsters in all of mythology, Typhon.”

“?!”

Everyone was shocked to hear Typhon’s name. That was because they knew just what kind of monster he was. He was the father of all the monsters in the Greek mythos as well as the biggest adversary of Zeus.

He was born between Gaia and Tartarus with the sole purpose of destroying Zeus and his olympians. He made all the gods cower with only Zeus to fight him, and Zeus only won because of his Thunder bolts which he rained down on typhon. The battle between the two was said to almost broke the world in two.

After his lost, Zeus locked him away in the deepest part of Tartarus, but even it couldn’t fully contain his anger. It was said that whenever a volcano erupted it was him expressing his anger.

It goes without saying that he was a terrifying being.

“Typhon along with a few others were locked up in their respective hells when the peace treaty was being signed. Because of this, these beings aren’t restricted and can freely use their powers to the fullest.”

Miko explained.

“The good news is that Typhon still hasn’t left Tartarus yet for some reason. However, other Higher Beings have already made it to our world. These beings includes 6 Buddhas that were in Jigoku showing mercy to the damned. These 6 buddhas will be a problem.”

“Not only that, I’ve learnt that warriors who died under the Greek, Shinto, Buddhist faiths and went to these three hells, can make their way back to the living through the gates.”

Kimiko added.

“What? Is this true?”

Miko asked.

Kimiko nodded.

“I met two warriors who fought in the name of Wakoku during the War For Supremacy. I made Sasha and Tessa fight them, but since they were spirits physical attacks didn’t work. It was then I realized that they could only be defeated through using soul based powers like qigong and soul magic. Also defeating them, means destroying their souls forever.”

She explained.

“We won the east, but it doesn’t feel like we’re safe yet. In fact it feels like we’re even more cornered than before.”

Said Rouge.

“So basically, our enemies are Higher Beings and spirits from the greatest war in history?”

Nero slammed his fists together.

“Sounds great! I can’t wait to test my strength against my predecessors!”

He said.

Miko nodded.

“Now that it had come to this, we only have one path left for survival.”

He smiled and spoke-

“We must surpass the old era! There’s no other option!”

“Surpass the old era huh?”

All the branch leaders looked itching for a fight.

“Sounds good to me.”

Said Nova.

“Looks like we get go all out and beyond.”

Said Echo.

“Hahahaha! I get to use my new mech! I can’t wait!”

Alexus shouted excited.

“Bring it. I won’t back down from a fight.”

Said Andreas, who face was a bit swollen from the last punch Hanzou gave him.

“I swear I’ll kill a lot of big names this time!”

Nero declared.

While everyone was prepping themselves for a grand battle, Miko sat in silence.

He leaned back in the chair and closed his eyes. No one seem to notice the strange atmosphere around him.

He opened his eyes and muttered so low that only he heard it.

“After this battle, I either die or leave the clan. Either way, this might be last time I see anyone in this room.”

The time for the final battle of the war, quickly approached. Just what will be the end result?!

A mad smile suddenly appeared on his face, one flowing with anger and insanity.

“Since that’s the case, I might as well go out with a bang. So get ready, Julio Zebul & Typhon!”
