Tom appeared with a silent crack and turned right, into a wide driveway that led off the lane. The high hedge curved with them, running off into the distance beyond the pair of impressive wrought-iron gates barring the men's way... the source of the noise proved to be nothing more than a pure-white peacock, sturring majestically along the top of the hedge.

The gravel driveway to the manor house is wide and has a large hedge curving alongside it.

The driveway and hedge go past a pair of wrought-iron gates.

These gates permit select individuals (those who make some sort of salute) to pass through them as if they are smoke, and with others, the iron contorts into a face, which demands the purpose of the person trying to enter the manor.

The yew hedge is known to have albino peacocks roving along the top of it. The outside of the manor is grand and the land surrounding it is vast, filling many acres.

Those acres contain numerous types of trees and various plant and perhaps other animal life.

He looked at the Manor in front of himself and took out a long dark gown with a hood which he put on before taking out his wand and cast a spell which will shut down all the alarms in the house so even the house elves can't find the intruder, with that done he walked towards the gates where he simply walked through.

As the Dark Lord, all of his servants have allowed full access to their houses, and the Malfoy family is no different.

Speaking of the Malfoy family, he found out they used to work for muggles before.

Like many other progenitors of noble English families, the wizard Armand Malfoy arrived in Britain with William the Conqueror as part of the invading Norman army. Having rendered unknown, shady, (and almost certainly magical) services to King William I, Malfoy was given a prime piece of land in Wiltshire, seized from local landowners, upon which his descendants have lived for ten consecutive centuries.

Over hundreds of years, they have managed to add to their lands in Wiltshire by annexing those of neighboring Muggles, and the favor they curried with royalty added Muggle treasures and works of art to an ever-expanding collection.

This expansion ceased when the International Statute of Wizarding Secrecy was passed, in which the Malfoys hotly denied any connections with Muggles to uphold their position of influence in the newly formed Ministry of Magic.

After walking through the gates without setting off any alarm he put on the hood so the only thing someone could see was the red glowing eyes from under the hood.

As a great villain, you have to look scary to make sure that your servants are scared of you or else there is not much fun being a villain other than not having to obey any rules from anyone other than yours.

Malfoy Manor is a "handsome manor house" surrounded by elaborate gardens, including a fountain.

The front door swings inward at the approach of a person (or perhaps just a select group of people) without anyone visibly opening it.

The hallway is large, dimly lit, and sumptuously decorated, with a magnificent carpet covering the stone floor.

The walls of the entrance hall display pale-faced portraits lining the walls, and at the end of the hall is the bronze-handled door to the drawing room.

The drawing room was a widely proportioned room. Probably the grandest room of the house, it had ceilings 30 feet high, two chandeliers, and a pipe organ at one end. It had a long ornate table, it is were Voldemort sat during the meeting in the movie.

Tom went sat at the head table, he already sent his magic throughout the house and could see everyone in the manor.

This is one of the ability's he created during his time in the human world.

The idea came from the fact that Guiana Dolphins Can Use Electric Signals to Locate Prey.

Dolphins are famous for their ability to hunt prey via echolocation.

With this idea, he thought why can't I do the same with magic but instead of electric signals I replace it with magic so everything that releases magic will be hit with this ability and take the information back showing the location of the person or creature.

It took 2 years to perfect it but it worked, now the more he can cover is an area of 1 kilometers.

One of the downsides of this ability is that it takes half his magic reserves as he uses it to cover the area, the more area he covers the more magic is needed so he can only use this 1 time to be safe.

He named this ability 'Eccolocus' ecco for Echo and locus for Location.

Through this ability he aware that there was only one person in the manor today and based on the magic signature he felt it was Lucius Malfoy, it looks like his family went somewhere, this is also not bad as he can talk with Lucius without interruption.

Tom smiled as he saw that Lucius was on his way to the drawing room.

Before Lucius entered the door Tom let go of the hold he had on the dark mark in the soul.

This is was the way he used to hide that he was back, by blocking the signal from the soul to the dark mark, this is also why all those who had the dark mark went on with their lives without knowing that the dark lord was back or else they would be groveling around trying to finding him which would alert Dumbeldoor.

When he let his soul signal pass to Lucius he felt that the link start to vibrate as well as grow very dark.

This meant that the dark mark on Lucius's hand went from barely visible to completely dark, the pain also hit Lucius who went to his knees and held his arm, he hurriedly pulled back his robes and looked at the dark mark growing darker and the snake who started moving.

He went pale and started to shake as he felt through the dark mark that the dark lord was in the room in front of him before he could think further he heard a dark and young voice.

"Come Lucius, or is that you have forgotten me in these past 9 years."
