《The Undead Dungeon》Chapter 3 - Open For Business

"Now that we've chosen our starting monster there is an important thing that we must do Menu," I said Menu smiling like an idiot because I got to choose Undead as my starting monster.
First of all, we didn't choose Undead as the starting monster you did. Second, you are right there is an important thing that we must do write our will and wait for our doom...OUR GROTESQUE INEVITABLE DOOM by the Church of the Sun God.
"Relax Menu that means we just have to be strong enough to repel them," I said to Menu to reassure him that we will be okay.
You are right. Sorry for yelling at you. You are there is an important thing that we must do it's to build an entrance to the dungeon.
"Oh yeah, that too also the other important thing that we must do is give you a name"
A name?
"Yeah, it feels wrong to just call you Menu or Assistant let's give you a proper name. From now on you are Mike Stanley the Third, Mike for short. What do you think?"
Mike, I like it. I thought you were going to give me a generic butler name like Alfred or Sebastian.
"There is no way I would I give you a butler name haha. Anyway, how do I make an entrance to the dungeon" I said trying to change the subject.
Just think of the word Status and from there you can select the Construction category and then just choose the Entrance option.
"Ok sounds easy enough. Status."
Dungeon Status Name: Adam Connor Race: Dungeon(Undead) Mana: 100/100 Mana Regeneration: 1/day Construction Monster Trap Loot Construction
Entrance: 20 mana (One Time Purchase)
Room (20x20ft): 20 mana
Corridor (30ft): 10 mana
Graveyard: 20 mana
After clicking the Entrance option a holographic projection appears from the east wall that seems to lead to the outside. It looks like that I can edit the projection to a certain degree. I made the ground uneven to mess with peoples footing I also made stalagmite to impede their vision and I made the width of the entrance to 1 meter to hinder with swords and a bladed weapon. It looks like I can also extend the entrance and enlarge it but it takes extra mana so I won't do it. After checking the projection I finalized my decision and then the Entrance finally formed.

Since I don't want to have only an entrance that leads directly to my core I built a room in front of the core room. After that, I create a corridor between the room and the core room I edit the corridor so that it will curve to the right so that I can prepare trap or ambush later.
Graveyard
A graveyard is a resting place for undead monsters. It provided undead monsters with comfort and relaxation.
Provided healing to undead monsters.
Regenerate broken or missing body parts.
Create a calm environment for undead monsters.
Instill fear in living beings. (Small Chance)
This seems like it will be useful and it would help my lovely undead monsters. I built the graveyard in the empty room. Now it's finally time for something I have been waiting for. Let's create an undead. Checking the Monster category.
Monster
Zombie: 10 mana
Skeleton: 10 mana
Spirit: 15 mana
Since skeleton would all look the same I will pick it later, I don't know much about spirit, so let's go with something I know the best, zombie it is. I want to see if there will be differences between zombie or not. I'm gonna create 3 to see if they're different or not. The moment I create the 3 zombies I saw a blue text box.
Mana Depleted. Turn To Standby Mode.
"Shit not again." Again everything turns black.

Overgrowth
I never thought I'd be killed by butterflies. But here I am... Edmon Valli was a smuggler, before a freak storm threw him off course and stranded him on a desert island smack in the middle of an uncharted monster zone. Trying his best to survive, or possibly even escape, he stumbles across the find of a lifetime: an unclaimed dungeon crystal. This is a dungeon-ish story, but without reincarnation or transmigration. I started it as a whim for NaNoWriMo so I may drop it any time after that... or I might not. My current plan is to write until I can reach some sort of conclusion and call it 'volume one'. I hope someone enjoys reading it for now! All comments, corrections, and criticism welcome.

The Infinite Labyrinth
(Story complete - Book 1 "Shanghaied", 2 "Shortcuts", 3 "Secrets" and 4 "Sanctions") It is the 19th century, and war smoulders between England and France. Any hope for a quick end to Napoleon's rampage across Europe ended when the Great Gates opened in 1800. For a fortunate few, the strange world of the Infinite Labyrinth offers opportunities, strange descriptors popping in their minds, informing them of growth, and status beyond that of a mere mortal. The materials and power crystal they bring back foster a new age, both military and civilian. Aether-powered Skyships prowl the skies, as all the great nations blessed by the Gates try to turn the blessings of the Labyrinth into immediate advantages. But for Jonas, an apprentice leatherworker, his friend Ira, and so many Londoners, the fabled ones that walk the Labyrinth are distant heroes, seen from afar. They fell short when their Potential was measured, and they fill their mundane lives with distant dreams. One man wants to break the stalemate. The Tyrant of the Dominion of France, Napoleon Bonaparte, has a plan. Eighteen years after the world changed, he will force it to change again. And when civilians are caught in the fallout, the unthinkable happens. Six people, unqualified, forbidden to ever enter the Labyrinth, find themselves stranded in a distant zone, forcefully turned into Professionals. They know little of what that means, but they have to figure out the rules that are now their lot, for they have little hope to escape their predicament otherwise. They need to understand what the descriptors in their minds mean, what each of the strange piece of gear waiting in treasure chests behind terrible guardians can bring them. They have to become Professionals on their own and rejoin the Empire. They will figure out their new lives one way or another. But will there be an Empire waiting for them when the Gates re-open? Caught in a clash of empires and high tiers, they will do what little they can. They will step up and do their best. One way or another. The Infinite Labyrinth is a slice-of-life litRPG adventure set in a real historical setting. It's a hard, crunchy litrpg. Expect blue boxes everywhere, and the system itself is very mathy. It started life as a serial. I prepared some proper worldbuilding, with enough details and background for lots of different potential story arcs, but as I wrote, I realized the main story needs to have a definitive end. So, there are four books in total, for a bit under 1500 pages, plus additional side stories, and even maybe a sequel one day. The Gore tag was added as a precaution because there are a few scenes with some light gore.
