《I Came Back In Order To See You》1-7 : Outside and inside

Outside the building, a part of the students already left. Somes just wanted to know if Talia would show up. Now that she really did they had no reason to stay. The outcome was pretty oblivious. The majority that was still there wanted to know in what state Talia would come out.
Abilities, such as Sarah’s Wind Manipulation, could be used in various ways, but the most simple way was for fighting. Schools Competitions had a lot of basic events such as running, and so on. The thing was it was a lot more difficult than usual. So schools had to select the right participants for the right events. There was also a special thing at the end of each competition. An Ability Tournament. Students from a school could fight against students from other schools. Of course, they wore a special combat suit as to reduce the risk of accidents. The goal of these battles was not to kill the opponents. Since the founding of this tournament, nobody died. Of course, the students had to be willing to fight. A school could not force someone to participate.
Some of the students before the Chamber already saw a fight between two ability users, so they knew the danger for Talia. Sanya didn’t know, but she still felt worried. She was more worried about Talia’s mental state than physically. Talia was never very hurt physically by Sarah, but she was still pushed so much into a corner that she nearly committed suicide. So, if she was injured during this so-called training, she might not be able to take it.
Suddenly the sound of engines could be heard. The school was near a road, so it was common to hear vehicles. The problem was that the current location was the Ability Test Chamber, which was clearly a bit far from the road. Nevertheless, the sound was getting nearer and nearer.
“What is going on?”
“look over here!”
A Student pointed at a path connected to the Chamber. The path was quite wide because it had been used for the construction vehicles necessary in order to build the Chamber. Now, some black vehicles, a truck and three hummers, were driving on this path. They were heading toward the Chamber. On the side of these vehicles, the letters ‘A.R.A.’ were written.

Seeing these letters most of the students backed off from the Chamber. It was a normal reaction knowing who they were. The Abilities Regulation Union needed something to show their strength and solve all problems regarding crimes related to abilities. To do this they created an army that could deploy everywhere around the globe. The Abilities Regulation Army was this army.
They had bases everywhere on earth and could display a power similar if not greater than the military of an average country. These vehicles were in this case from this same Army. Most people heard of them, so they knew that it was better to not disturb them.
The vehicles parked near the building. Soldiers in full body black uniforms with helmets and bulletproof vests got off the truck and two of the hummers. They were armed with assault rifles. A man, a woman and two soldiers got off the leading hummer.
The man was quite tall, above 1m90. He seemed around 30 years old and had scary eyes. His brown hair was swept back and his short beard gave him a wild air. This sensation was boosted by his very muscular body which looked more like a bear than a human. On the back of his waist, he had a very long military knife.
In contrast, the woman looked very nervous. She was average in height and looked in her early twenties. She had long straight black hair which gave her similarities to these Japanese beauties. She wore a suit, completely out of place with her environment. Fortunately, the bulletproof on her was enough to know that she was a member of the unit.
The soldiers created a zone in front of the Chamber. No students were allowed to pass them. The man and the woman arrived in front of the door. “She is in there, right Yui?” The man asked without turning his head. He seemed cool-headed despite his look.
“Y-Yes Itch here! I mean, It’s here!” The woman, Yui, shuttered and was red from embarrassment. The man didn’t pay notice to her clumsiness and only looked at the door. “Guess we have to wait until she finishes.”

At this moment, a quite quiet sound came from the building along with some shockwaves inside the ground. The man sensing this could not help but be a bit shocked. ‘I hope she will not kill the other student.’
5 minutes later, the door was open.
--------------------------------------
Inside the Chamber.
Sarah was frozen. Talia’s hand slowly extended toward her. ‘I”m dead.’ Sarah could only think that she would be killed. She clearly understood that Talia was overwhelmingly stronger than her. Her mind was at the limit of breaking. Talia’s hand approached Sarah’s cheek and just like this….She gave a few weak slaps.
“What is it, Sarah? It looks like you saw a monster.” Talia smiled at her with a face filled with mockery. Seeing this, Sarah could not take it.
She went insane.
“AAAAAAAAAAAAAH!” Her eyes turned bloodshot. The wind raged around her. the formless wind attacked Talia at close point. It formed into blade extremely sharp. In response, Talia moved her hand slowly, and when the wind blades were at 30 centimeters from her, her hand accelerated so fast that it was invisible to naked eyes. A loud boom was created as the hand smashed the blades and destroyed it.
Sarah clearly saw it. Since the start, Talia had not a barrier-oriented ability or something like this. It was just pure strength and speed. Even when she appeared behind her. The loud sound was created because she broke the floor with her physical strength.
Sarah fell down on the floor. She had no strength. The girl before her was too powerful.
However, seeing her reaction Talia was not satisfied. Sarah was in a situation where she was taught that her fangs were powerless, leaving her with no hope. But, Talia wanted to show her that even if she were to use those same fangs, she would still be weak.
Talia didn’t want Sarah to think that she lost because her opponent was strong. She wanted her to think that it was her that was weak. She wanted to shatter every possible hope and potential troubles in the future.
‘You should not have called Sanya an ugly.’
The Wind surged around Talia. It blew the same way that when Sarah was wielding it, only in a more stable way.
“I’m truly not fit for Wind magic. I can only go up to the advanced level without losing control. Well, I only need the intermediate level to reproduce what you were doing.” the surrounding wind transformed into air bullets the same size as Sarah’s ones. there was around twenty in total. She also produced a ball of wind in her hand. Sarah recognized the power immediately.
It was exactly the same as her.
‘What is going on… I just wanted to crush her. What is this nightmare?’ Sarah’s reaction was dulled by the shock. Even seeing Talia using a power similar to her, she didn’t react.
“Now, let’s train.” Talia shot the ball that she had in her hand to Sarah. The already broken Sarah took the blow and was knocked backward. She tried to crawl toward the exit but five air bullets were shot in front of her. Talia completely blocked her way.
“Where are you going? It was you that wanted to train. Someone with the same power is the best sparring partner, right?” Talia once again created a ball of air. Her eyes were cold as she watched the girl crawling.
“The training has just begun.”
Less than five minutes later they exited the Chamber.

Verdant Heart Seed - A Reverend Insanity fan-fiction
Back in the Late Antiquity Era, the protagonist meets his untimely demise. But Heaven and Earth always leaves a way out, his new cultivation journey begins anew on the path of reclaiming his former strength and defying Fate.---This is a story about a native cultivator of the Gu world. He lived in the era of/before Spectral Soul Demon Venerable (two venerable eras before the main RI plot). He suffered the rise of the demon venerable, barely able to make his arrangements before his death. He manages to rebirth, but doesn't everything go as planned. The story starts off in an isolated small word (grotto heaven), until the MC can grow and reclaim his former glory, before surpassing it. (long way, he was already rank 8 before) The MC has a pragmatic worldview, aligned with what you would expect from someone living hundreds of years in that kind of hostile environment. He doesn't shy away from immoral acts if it benefits him. The MC bears close resemblance to Fang Yuan in this regard, but his goal is not eternal life. One of my aims was to showcase the later introduced cultivation rules into the mortal cultivation (dao marks, attainment etc.) and explore novel scenarios within this highly technical cultivation environment.
