《I Came Back In Order To See You》1-15 : Her answer
Advertisement
Sanya’s mind went blank. She just wanted to reassure Talia. How did it lead to a confession?! Talia’s eyes absolutely serious. her words were spoken with her soul and heart. In front of her, Sanya could only stare blankly with her mouth wide open. Meanwhile, Talia was smiling sweetly with a satisfied face.
“I finally did it.” Talia looked at the ceiling. It had been 50 years since she wanted to say this. She first noticed this feeling on the first day outside of her world. Since then, she had always wanted to tell Sanya her feelings. But her love and care for her beloved nearly made her unable to remain with her. Fortunately, Sanya had been here to give her the last push. It was like a dream.
‘No, it’s not a dream. Sanya is here, in front of me, and she now knows my feelings for her.’ Talia lowered her head. Seeing Sanya’s crimson face she knew that her feelings went through. This alone made her happy.
“I know you have to think about it. I will not ask your answer now, but one day I want to hear your response.” With this Talia closed her eyes with a thin smile. Now that she was back, she had the time. Talia wanted her to love her back, however even if her answer was not the one she waited for, she would accept it. In this case, They would at least remain friends.
Hearing Talia’s last words, Sanya finally came to her senses. Her brain processed at fast speed what Talia just said. Have to think? Will not ask for her answer now? In parallel, a feeling welled up inside her heart. The thought of having to wait in order to give her a reply made her anxious. What if one day Talia grew tired of waiting? What if Sanya could not find an opportunity until it was too late? The feeling in her heart was burning more and more. Sanya felt that her chest was filled with a volcano that was about to erupt. The temperature and the pressure were rising until they reached the critical point!
‘No...no, no no, no! NO!’
Sanya’s hands moved as they grabbed Talia’s arms. Talia’s eyes opened wide open in surprise. Sanya’s grip was strong, completely non-proportional to her small size. Her gaze was locked on the other girl, totally overwhelming her. The heat inside her broke out.
Sanya’s lips opened.
“Talia, I love you!”
Silence fell down. Talia’s face burned up in response. Same was happening on Sanya’s face. It was only a few seconds later that Talia opened her mouth.

“...I-Is it for re-”
Sanya didn’t let her finish. Her head moved closer, not letting Talia the time to react. She felt a soft sensation on her lips as Sanya’s eyes could not be closer than this. Instead of trying to break free, Talia let herself melt in this sensation. A blissful feeling spread all inside her body.
Not long after; they separated. Talia touched her lips to feel the remain of Sanya’s warmth. Meanwhile, Sanya was holding Talia’s other hand with both hands. Her red face had a small grin.
“This is real, Talia. I love you, and I want to be your girlfriend... Is it ok?”
“You say this after taking my first kiss? Of course it’s ok. From now on, Sanya Cliff is my lover, and Talia Chevalier is your lover.”
“...That’s quite a weird to say that we are going out. Also, this was also my first kiss, so we are quite even.” Sanya flashed a small wry smile. In response, Talia lowered a bit her head and was twirling a strand of hair.
“It’s can’t be helped. I’m embarrassed…” Seeing her reaction, Sanya had her heart skip a beat. Talia was so cute! Since she came back, she had an air of supreme confidence around her. The display of her powers also made her more out of reach. She was kind of a superhuman, which could not be restrained by normal means.
But, Talia current appearance was totally unlike before. She reminded Sanya a bit of Talia from before 10 days period. The sharpness and overwhelming presence of a Protector of Worlds had vanished. The only things that remained were the clumsiness and shyness of a maiden who was with her lover! Well, this logic could also be applied on Sanya. Anyway, Talia was so lovely, causing Sanya to not be able to restrain herself.
“Talia, turn around, please.” Sanya instructed her as she prepared the field. She put the cushion that she was using earlier plus another one behind her.
“Sure. Like this?” Talia turned around and her back was in front of Sanya.
“Yes, perfect!” Suddenly, Sanya spread her legs across Talia and hugged her from behind. She then used her weight to bring down Talia with her. Talia seemed surprised as she tried to grasp the air during her fall. Of course, in normal circumstance she could prevent it, but before Sanya she was powerless. Talia was at loss about the situation. She was now laying on Sanya, while she was being hugged. Sanya’s chin was on top of her head. After a few seconds, Talia settled down and received her girlfriend’s skinship.

The two of them just layed there without moving. Sanya was looking at Talia’s beautiful blue hair, while Talia was listening to Sanya’s calming heartbeat. Then, Talia opened her mouth. “Why did you not take time to think about your answer a bit more? Don’t misunderstand, I’m extremely happy, but how can you be so sure about it?”
Talia wanted to give her the time to be sure of her feelings. She didn’t want her to respond because of the heat of the moment. However, Talia clearly saw it. Sanya’s eyes. Talia had seen people with the same gaze before. Each person with this type of gaze was absolutely sure about their decision. Once they reached this decision, nothing could change their mind. Where did she get this kind of will?
Sanya thought a bit and gave a reply. “I thought that if I waited for another second to answer, I would never have been able to answer you. I know it’s kind of strange, but I know I will never regret this. I know that it can be dangerous. I know that sometimes you will maybe have to fight. However, these things are not even a tiny bit enough to stop me.”
Sanya might be madly in love, but she was not blindly in love. She heard Talia’s explanation, and she still wanted to be with her. Sanya’s words warmed Talia. Then, Talia’s eyes opened wide as she remembered something.
She held her hand in the air as she retrieved something from her earing. Sanya could naturally see her actions. The object in her hand was a choker with a bell attached to it. The band was white with strands of silver fabric in the middle. The form of the bell was an octahedron and it was also silver in color. A point of the shape was directly attached to the band.
When the choker appeared in Talia’s hand, it ringed a crystal clear sound. Talia wanted to remain in her girlfriend’s embrace, but she really needed to give it to her. She raised herself and turned to face Sanya. She looked at the choker in her hand and finally handed it to Sanya. Sanay took it and looked at it from several angles. The choker itself looked beautiful and the bell seemed a bit mysterious, like Talia’s sword…
“This is?” Sanya was a bit surprised as Talia gave it to her. Was it a present?
“My return gift. I totally forgot.” Sanya’s guess was right. Of course, she was quite happy. She was not really fond of jewelry, but the fact that it was present from Talia was enough to make her overjoyed. Nevertheless, she could not shake the feeling that this was not a simple necklace.
In the end, she still wore it. The white and silver choker was a good match to Sanya’s natural blond hair. She moved her hair as to let Talia take a good look. “Thank you, Talia. It’s beautiful….Does it suit me?”
Talia raised both thumbs up in the air. Her head repeatedly nodded to show her agreement. “It suits you perfectly!”
After saying this, Talia moved until her face was close to Sanya’s. Sanya blushed as she closed her eyes and waited. However, the soft sensation that she waited for didn’t come. Instead, she heard the sound of the bell around her neck. She opened one eye to take a peek, but the scene before her made her open her eyes wide. Talia was holding the bell and a flow of blue substance was being poured from Talia’s fingertips to the bell’s outer shell. The substance was flowing alongside hundreds of tiny tunnels. Talia’s face was serious.
Several seconds passed and at one point Sanya started to have a strange sensation. She felt like she was being connected to the bell by some kind of invisible link. She could feel Talia’s touch on the bell. It was like having an extension of the body.
Not long after, Talia released the bell. “You should feel some kind of connection with the bell right now. Don’t worry, its nothing harmful or strange. Wait, why are you pouting?”
Sanya’s red cheeks inflated as she didn’t get what she first wanted. It seemed she would have to take the lead in their relation. Anyway, she quickly came back on the bell. She touched the bell as to check it, and she could clearly feel the tips of her fingers. It was a weird, but not an unpleasant sensation. She raised her face with a questioning face.
Seeing this, Talia could help but smile. As she was about to clear Sanya’s questions…
“Talia! Come give me a hand!” A loud voice came from the first floor of the house. It was loud enough to be heard from Sanya’s room. In response, Sanya sighed while Talia could help but laugh dryly

Midthalion Saga
+++Working on new chapters. Share what I've posted with your friends and family! Be sure to build strong bonds with those who are important to you. We only have each other in this world for so long!+++ Can Roderick XXIII gather together and train a party of adventurers to clear out Madeon Caves and bring peace to the wildmarches of Midthalion? Sent from his home monastery in the west to the wildmarches of Midthalion, Roderick the Holy Avenger is devoted to living out his oath to bring the Holy Light to the dark corners of the world. He enlists the help of an old friend, Ulrich Vogelbrandt the dwarf druid, to train and prepare a fighting force capable of defending the west from the evil they both see gathering and growing in the east. Eoroth is an ode to Tolkienesque epic fantasy, Robert E Howard and H.P. Lovecraft's pulp fiction, and Gygaxian Dungeons & Dragons. I like to write about serious topics because I think it's fun. I hope it makes for a fun read. Place: Eoroth, a vast, flat world with many continents set in oceans that reach out and mingle with the Celestial Sea. Our story takes place on the continent of Thalion in the middle, unsettled region called Midthalion. Peoples: Races in Eoroth aren't different species; the species of man is just incredibly diverse, consisting of many known races (and perhaps some unknown). There are no humans in Thalion. Thalion's races include variations of elves, dwarves, halflings (billowits), pierros (clownish men), bergeracs (long-nosed and swarthy men of honour), orcs, trolls, goblins, and hobgobs. The Church: There's one dominant religion in Westhalion. The faith of the elves is an analogue to Roman Catholicism while the dwarves practice an Eastern Orthodox analogue. (Forgive me for not having figured out names yet.) The practitioners worship a triune god (the All-Father, Son-of-All, and Holy Light). There are many powers in heaven, all created by God. These include the Twelve High Thrones, individual, created beings who take on the role of guiding mankind in different aspects, drawing them closer and closer to God. (That should be the essentials. I could write pages on the theology. Comment where something's unclear in the story.) Natural World: There are plants and animals in Eoroth, but the world is also inhabited by spirits called aeons. Aeons are transformative beings; in the wild, they'll change based on whatever is happening nearby. Pollute a pond? Expect to see toxic toad-men running around. Leave a bunch of dead bodies strewn across a battlefield? Expect the place to become haunted with ghouls and ghasts. Druids are important for making sure that the aeons are pacified; that their needs are met so that they don't become rampaging monsters. Where the wilderness becomes overgrown, so too do the aeons. Aeons and People: Long ago, men learned how to trap aeons in stone tablets and use them for war. Now, anyone can capture an aeon into a special staff made by a druid. Men train, raise, and bond with these aeons. Druids often build entire ranches devoted to raising healthy aeons as allies and companions. Aeons are divided into twelve known families, and the church sees these as corresponding with the Twelve Thrones in Heaven. Direction: My goal is to get the story to one million words by June next year. I have tons of content in mind for the world. I want to release novels set in different ages of the world depicting different historical events. I hope to expand the setting into a tabletop role-playing game as well as a series of old-school JRPGs. But, it all begins with writing some stories and publishing my novels.

Cinder Roots (Undergoing a Rewrite)
This novel is currently undergoing a major rewrite, as I noticed several plot points that needed to be revamped. I'll leave the chapters I've posted here to anyone curious to see how everything started, but I'll be posting the rewritten story as a new novel in the future. The characters will be the same, but the journey will be more understandable and hopefully, a lot more fun to read. -------- First, everything was fire, it killed, it consumed, and it gave him life. He was just a tree, born in the biggest forest that remained in the world, full of dryads, naiads, elves and treants, but he was alone. He couldn’t see. He couldn’t talk. Curiosity plagued him. He dreamed of wandering the land, but could only wonder what stood outside the reach of his roots. The tree was tired of waiting. He decided to not just dream, but to act. How could he survive against a invading empire, a grand conspiracy that threatened to shake the foundations of the world, and the raw danger that lies within these woods? With pure determination. Warning - There are quite a few POV changes in the first chapters, but that'll change after the introduction is done, as I'll be focusing on the MC perspective only.
