《Echoes of Rundan》A Short Break

You've likely all seen this coming.
Book 7 is done, and I haven't been able to catch up and get Book 8 going. As such, I'm taking a short break from posting Rundan. Mostly because there is no Rundan to post. But also so I can get my life in order. I started a new job yesterday so there's bound to be even more stress for a little while.
Regular chapters will resume as soon as I have some to share. No longer than a few weeks. Hopefully.

* Block Dungeon is currently on a short hiatus as well, but there's still over 50 chapters of dungeon core goodness going on. I should be posting new chapters hopefully this week if new job doesn't murder me.
I just wanna take a moment here though to thank you all for reading Rundan. I know it started rough, and I haven't been the best at keeping things exactly to genre. But it's taught me a lot and I'm excited to finish the series. Only two books to go before I get to start tearing it apart mercilessly! Woo!
But alright. Time for me to go work on the next outline.

Well, you can take the boy out of Dockside but you can’t take the Dockside out of the boy. It’s time to tuck that chin and raise those hands. The story of a fire elemental's life in a world dominated by mages. He will have to learn how to manage betrayals, treachery, and maybe even love as he goes on adventures to find a meaning to it all. From dark, humble beginnings he will rise... or fall, devastating amounts in his journey across the world. Hello, Author here! I am, unfortunately, rather terrible at coming up with descriptions that seem to have the right amount of decorum and yet actually serve their function of adequately describing the story, so here's the coursenotes. - The story follows a fire elemental. (As you can tell from that, it is heavily besed on fantasy with mages and the like. Technology will not feature prominently) -As mentioned in the tags, this will have game-like aspects. (E.G. levels, stats. I will be trying to put my own twist on this notion however, so bear with me if the premise intrests you but you despise LitRpg) -It'll get rather dark, but not devastatingly so. (I'm trying to write a more complex story so it will have its dark moments, the prologue being one of them. Rest assured the whole story will not be this dark, though I'll make sure that no-one is a saint either) -The protagonist/protagonists will not be a Mary-Sue. (The plural will be understood when I'm further into the story. They also won't be impossiby unlikeable such as those in many Light novels.) -There is no prophecy (Anyone who says there is, is lying, trust me.)

Celestials. These beings are often known as 'Gods', or 'Superior Beings'. Which is infact true. These beings cannot be compared to the life of a Human, or any other species for that matter. This story is telling the tale of Eloxus and his struggles to survive in this convoluted game called the Evolution Game by the Celestials. Will Eloxus be able to adapt into this harsh, feast or famine world? This is completely new territory for him! Eloxus gets the chance to become a Lesser Being - however, is he able to morph and transform his new self into something special? Maybe he can become a Celestials Instrument if he becomes interesting enough. The world is his oyster. Will he be able to find companions for his needs? If so, who? : )
