After Teaghan finished with the mining area, she focused on the smaller room within the hallway between the second and third room. She pulled up her dungeon interface to find how she could place the mini mushroom biome.

She selected the “create biome” section, and a list of the biomes available to her was pulled up.
Biomes Available:
Basic Forest (Floor)
-----
Mushroom Room (Mini)
Mana Forest (Mini)
Mana Enhanced River (Mini)
Teaghan selected the mushroom room biome and placed it on the room, and when she did that, another blue screen popped up
This room has had the “Mushroom Room” biome placed on it.
With the biome placed on the room, Teaghan added all of her mushrooms. Including the new mushrooms from the experiment room, the tree mushroom and explosive mushroom, as well as the two mushroom monsters, the mushroom men and chomper mushroom. But she also added some vines and other plants and some mini tunnels that go slightly under the room for the mushroom men. In the hallway leading to the room, Teaghan placed some mushrooms to indicate that this was the mushroom room.
The last of the smaller rooms that she had to add to was the hidden treasure room. Teaghan decided that she wanted this room to be affected by the rune of amber, just like the environment that she found in the cave caverns.
When Teaghan remembered the cave caverns, she realized that she hadn’t looked at that for a while. So she made sure that once she finished the treasure room, then she would pull her attention to it.

She turned back to the treasure room, and she enlarged and placed the amber rune to cover the room, which was about 8 metres wide. When the rune was placed onto the stone, she added about 10 to 15 centimetres of dirt on top of the rune.
Teaghan added a small river that ran through the treasure room. Once she added the river, Teaghan decided that it was time to add the plants, creatures, and monsters to this room. She added all of the creatures that she picked up from the cave in the cave system that originally had the rune of amber. She added golden ferns, yellow grass, amber treasure spiders, and amber beetles. But Teaghan also added other smaller creatures, monsters, and plants into the room. She added mane rats, anchorite spiders, deathstalkers, glass leaf mantis, calleta caterpillars, vixen stingrays, lightning bat flowers, mineral flowers, sunglow, tape grass and a bunch of other smaller plants were placed into the room and the river portion.
Teaghan watched the treasure room for a little bit. She already saw some changes happening, such as tiny pieces of amber already growing in the room.
Remembering about the cave systems, Teaghan turned her attention away from the hidden treasure room and the cave systems. She looked at the new areas of the cave system that were covered and became part of her domain during the event that damaged her core.
When Teaghan finally looked over the new parts of her domain, she found many things.
For one thing, the kobold excavators and Jack had been very busy during the time that she sent them to work. She sent them to work during that period of time, and now, they have uncovered bits of bones, fangs, even a couple of partial skeletal remains. There were only two almost complete skeletal fossils. One of the few nearly complete groups of fossils looked to be like a snake, and one of the other almost complete skeletons was a large canine or cat with a long neck and narrow head. Teaghan was very happy with what they found and absorbed the pieces they uncovered and the fossil remains. She then pulled up all of the available descriptions.

Mesonyx
A long-extinct species of large canines that is built for speed. It has evolved its features for active running. It grows between 1.25 to 1.5 metres long and is a very keen hunter. This species hunts by sight and hearing alone as it has a poor sense of smell. This canine has a large narrow skull with powerful jaw muscles and a dangerous bite.
Lysiad
A long-extinct species of snake that grows 6 - 10 feet. It is a burrower, and it detects predators and captures prey using low-frequency ground vibrations. It will lay in wait until its prey comes into its vicinity before it strikes, biting and strangling its prey to death.
The only descriptions that came up were the two almost complete skeletons, while the other small pieces of bones, teeth, and claws were not enough to be described by the system.
The skeletons and other fossils’ excavations were not the only exciting things that came out of the cave system.
Further, into the cave system, Teaghan found a tree. But this just wasn’t any type of tree. This tree was dead and fossilized. But it did not look that way. It was still standing, but it looked like it was petrified.
Further off, in one of the rooms of a branch of the main tunnel, there was a room with what looked to be human artifacts.
In the room, there was a stone block, right next to a bottomless hole. Teaghan tried to look down the deep hole, but her domain did not cover the hole all the way to the bottom. She looked back into the room and out of the hole, and she saw cave drawings. Kind of like the ones back on Earth. They depicted stick figures, which kind of looked like humans, but Teaghan did not want to assume what species they were. The figures in the drawing seemed to be kneeling and bowing to a giant wolf, with what might be a sun drawn around its head.
What she found incredibly fascinated Teaghan. To think that she would see something like this, something so similar to what you can find on Earth, in the cave system.
The sun wolf was not the only drawing in the cave. There was also what looked to be a cat with the moon’s stages drawn above its head, with human figures worshiping it. As Teaghan studied the room, other drawings became apparent. The other walls had pictures of other animal figures, and the floor had symbols painted on it. The symbols looked somewhat similar to the rune of amber. But Teaghan could not feel any magic in it, so she assumed that either it was just a drawing that was significant to these people or that the magic dissipated from the rune.
Teaghan also found some objects around the room. She found a clay jar, some rock pieces that were chipped into a teardrop figure and made sharp, some seashells with holes in them, and a dagger made from what she thought was bone.

Old rivalries clash with new necessities as the fabric of reality strains once more. ___________________________________________ This is my first shot at posting something I've written and a story set in a literary universe that I really want to take places, one of several that's been rattling around in my brain for a few years now. Constructive criticism always welcome, unconstructive criticism welcome with the caveat that I very well might ignore it. Written for Nanowrimo, because why not.
