"Tell the truth!" Prince Si shouts at Prince Shiyu while winking at him.
"Marco told me that there's a candy shop that is open at night, so I brought Latifa there!" Prince Shiyu shouts with tears in the corner of his eyes.
Prince Si puts his hand over his face in silence.
Mister Marco hides his face with both of his hands.
"I'm sorry, I think I misheard you. Can you say that again?" The cute and cold miss says to Prince Shiyu.
"Eh? I was told that there's a candy shop that is open at night so I brought Latifa there...?" Prince Shiyu say while tilting his head.
"No. Who told you that there's a candy shop?" She asks.
"Marco did...?" Prince Shiyu answers insecurely.
"Hee~" The cute miss who's name I still don't know nods.
"Is that so? Is that so? Marco did... I see Marco told you about the candy shop, I see... I wonder how does Marco know about such candy shop...?" She says with a scary smile.
"Hmm...? This is weird? I thought that Marco doesn't like sweets? I wonder why Marco knows about local candy shops...?" She looks at Mister Marco with smiling eyes.
"Ahaha... My pretty, kind and forgiving wife... There's an explanati-"
Smack!
"You stupid player!" The scary miss smacks Mister Marco on the back of his head making him face plant the floor.
"Oh, what a splendid hit!" Miss says in admiration.
"And here I thought you would be able to behave in the capital... Disappointing as always." The scary miss says and turns towards miss.
"Little Sister Meira, I'm really sorry for this trouble my husband has brought to you." She says and bows her head.
"There's no need to apologize Elder Sister Noelyn. As long as Latifa is safe." Miss bows back.

"Latifa..." The scary, no, the cute miss... lady? Noelyn looks at me.
"So this is the treasure that makes even Lady Sophia go berserk?"
"Awuu...?" Nice to meet you...?
Noelyn's face stiffens.
"A, awuuu...?" D, did I do something wrong...?
"Little Sister Meira." Noelyn says seriously.
"What is it?" Miss tilts her her.
"C, could you pass Latifa to me for a moment?" Noelyn says with a slight blush.
Miss looks down at me, then at Noelyn, then back at me.
"Only for a moment, alright?" Miss reluctantly passes me to Noelyn.
Miss... I'm not sure whether I agree.
I don't think that humans should be passed from one to another like this.
However, I'm just a slave.
Slave is basically an item.
So, it's alright after all?
... I think.

But when they become the target of seemingly random, yet terrifying attacks, some begin to realize that the enemy may be much closer to home than anyone could have ever imagined. Author's Notes: While it helps to have a little bit of prior knowledge about the world of Transformers, you don't need to be a Transformers fan to enjoy this story, or even a Decepticons fan! One thing I can say for sure is that it is unlike any Transformers fan fiction you've ever come across. This story aims to explore one possible set of motivations in depth in a setting of ongoing conflict between the Autobots (and, more recently, the Alliance - a collaboration between Autobots and Neutrals) and the Decepticons. Although this story takes a lot of things from the G1 cartoon, it is by no means strictly G1 toon oriented and introduces characters and/or ideas from other continuities (Sentinel Prime, Jhiaxus, Thunderblast and Rook (not the Autobot Rook - the other Rook!). Set primarily on Cybertron and Alternity City, it also deviates from certain key elements common in Transformers canon. For one thing, the general consensus that all Autobots are good and all Decepticons are bad is challenged, and a new meaning to the motivations behind their conflict is offered (which is a recurring theme in my Heroic Decepticons Alternate Universes). Some personalities have been altered from their canonical profiles as a necessity (Megatron being the most obvious example) and developed to a much deeper level than the original cartoon allowed. [Author's Thoughts] Dropped, obviously. Still, it's my first attempt at a novel and I do love what I did with it. Big step towards learning. Far in the past, there was a civilization much more advanced than the one of modern times. Evidence of that time remains, but it is all but shrouded in mystery as there remains no way to decipher it. Currently, normal individuals wage war with guns and smaller machinery, but those who can wield a higher power vary in their abilities. Scales, born upon humans, are a mystery in their origins but are the source of their abilities and their way towards advancement. Although normally powerless, humans have adapted to the scales and thus can connect with the power of the universe, much like the other races that inhabit its various corners. In one of these corners, there exists a human settlement where Lancing follows his father's footsteps to begin his own ascent to power. However, he finds he is far different from his gifted father, whose scales below his eyes were among the purest ever seen, reaching gem-like quality. Far from perfect, Lancing shows no desire to give up and ceaselessly moves forward to reach the peak of the universe. However, he begins to notice that the mysteries of the universe slowly begin to unravel in front of his eyes. To reach the heavens, Lancing must carve his own path.
