《A Ditto's Tale》Ch 11 - Clash of Titans

The warm and stagnant forest air shuddered with the emanating pressure as a Legendary’s eyes set fiercely upon Ditto, feeling itself being crushed solely under the air’s force and suddenly snapping him out of his transformation.
Ditto’s every fibre…or goo, of being screamed to run. To get as far away as possible from this creature.
Yet something…deep inside Ditto, it reached out to it.
Something from within pulled Ditto forth.
Nothing like a shove, it was a mild feeling, a nudge at best.
But it was ever present and unignorable.
“Abhorrent, your very existence makes my insides churn.” Mewtwo glowed with fury as it hovered up into the air. “That man will have no time to acquaint with you, I will be done justly before.” It’s massive tail whipped behind itself as violet energy rushed down its body.
“Aight b look, I don’t know what I did to you, but I swear it wasn’t me!” Ditto exclaimed, his green complexion paling at the sight of an angry Mewtwo.
All the while he glanced about, trying to find anything to transform into, any other pokemon to merge in with this Mewtwo…
Nothing, not a single target was in sight…except a Goldie as she flailed and screamed still.
And as Mewtwo raised both hands forth, raw psychic power converging before it, one thought went through our Hero’s head.
Fuck it.
“Begone from my sight.” In rapid succession spheres of energy rained down upon Ditto, a dozen a second, it was a merciless onslaught from Mewtwo.
Ending only as a flash of light escaped the smoke screen the assault caused.
Eyes narrowing, Mewtwo waved its hand and the smoke dispersed…
Revealing something that quickly made its eyes widen.
Smooth golden scales covering his bipedal body from the bulging fingertips all the way down to the legs, where two large fins lay. But what caught Mewtwo mostly off-guard, was the head.

Heartless wide white eyes with a tiny black iris at the centre, giving away no emotion, betraying no thoughts from their owner. As below them its mouth lay puff and large with two wiggling tendrils hanging on either end, just like a wicked moustache.
Magitwo rose up from kneeling, meeting Mewtwo’s eyes with its own white abyssal pits.
“You dare…Mock?”
“Yo I’m just tryin to survive.”

Two explosions of power arose from either side as both threw themselves at the other, hands grasping hands, Mewtwo’s enraged face lay inches off Magitwos as they gripped one another momentarily.
Before suddenly both taking light-speed combat quite literally, moving faster than Goldie’s eyes could witness, only flashes of light bursting about the forest could be.
As the two clashed, the pressure about the forest intensifying to the point of collapsing trees on themselves wherever their hits landed.
Appearing suddenly apart from one another each charged up their respective attacks, Mewtwo putting its hands ahead of itself and summoning forth crackling psychic forces.
Whilst Magitwo put its hands together and to its side, and while Mewtwo lay silent Magitwo screamed, “KAMMEEEEHAMEEE~” as psychic energies were joined with a stream of condensed water into coiling about and in between his palms, forming a bright blue orb.
“HA!” Croaking with a high pitch on the last bit of his shout, both attacks surged at one another, clashing in their midst as a blue sphere of watery power spun at insane speed fighting off a ray of psychic energy.
Total concentration filled both of their expressions for long tense moments until suddenly the sphere exploded, sending about a pulse of force as if great amounts of pressure were abruptly released.
Both opponents were sent flying backwards, Mewtwo flying through the air to a sudden stop whilst Magitwo dragged through the dirt to a slow pause before both once again met each other’s gaze.

“I’m finishing this.” Mewtwo mused as its eyes glowed brightly, focusing itself, it opened its arms wide as suddenly a powerful force grasped at Magitwo, raising him up into the air.
Crushing agony, this is what Magitwo felt as everything everywhere seemed to be squeezing him, as a force of raw psychic power squashed him from each and every possible direction.
Bellowing out in pain, he could barely even think through the horror.
A terror which only ceased as Mewtwo suddenly let go.
A blob of green collapsed to the ground then, losing his transformation Ditto lay slumped like a puddle.
Ditto took in deep, exhausted breaths, as green blood lay splattered before him.
No longer sure if it was splattered on his eyes, or just so much lay around him that that’s what the world now looked like. He was tired.
Ditto was tired and shaken, as the monster before him loomed over like an ominous reaper.
“You’re disgusting.” Said the creature, as it raised its three-fingered hand, a sphere of light-blue energy forming within its palm.
“Heh, the pot called the kettle black.” Ditto mused in a pained groan, he couldn’t move anymore.
“Will those be your final words, pretender?” The creature asked, its light pink eyes narrowing and filling with bright white energy.
“Nah, these will be it.” Ditto said with a chuckle, coughing out another splatter of green. “You can suck my infinitely long, thicker than your tail, slimy green c-”
Suddenly Mewtwo raised its right hand forth and once again psychic power gripped hold of Ditto, raising the green puddle to before it.
“Now truly,” Mewtwo coldly said, gripping its three fingers into a fist and the crushing force returned.
Causing Ditto to be squashed into a green sphere.
“You shouldn’t even exist, just as I, but unlike I you will be released of your existence. This is a mercy I do not give lightly.” Mewtwo assured, “Disappear-”
“Stop!” A voice then called out, and Mewtwo ceased its attack, dropping Ditto to the ground.
Turning about, Mewtwo grimaced as it saw Dr.Oak helping a Machamp out from being buried underground. “You will not harm that specimen!” Oak ordered, and with a sigh Mewtwo nodded, lowering itself to the ground.
Both turned to look at where Ditto was…
Both of their expressions narrowed, as they saw no Ditto there, hearing a sound nearby then both turned only to see a yellow Machamp with the head of a Magikarp leaping out of sight with a shiny Magikarp in his arms…
“Woolululululululu!”

The Ruins of Magincia
They say all things end in time, but the exalted City of Magi would’ve begged to differ. Yet when an attempted coup goes wrong, the city finds itself brought to the very brink of destruction. In the wake of the calamity that left no survivors, the autonomous infrastructure still operating the ruined city seeks to restore what was lost. Luckily for it, the Mana-devoid Universe it awoke in holds an unexpected surprise: a planet full of sentient life forms. All capable—with a little help—to become the next generation of Magi. Back on Earth, Millie McArthur is a pregnant out-of-work mechanic struggling with the prospect of moving back in with her parents after leaving her unfaithful fiancé. That is until she finds herself just one of the hundreds that have been shanghaied by the callous artificial constructs still manning the ruins of Magincia. Now, she must struggle to learn magic, compete for resources, get good 'grades,' and fulfill the seemingly arbitrary requirements for her future job in this broken city. All while keeping herself, and her son, alive. Is the miracle of magic really enough to make up for all the pain? The Ruins of Magincia is a dark fantasy that's heavy on the drama (LitRPG aspects are very light). Chapter lengths can be anywhere from 7k-12k and there's no current release schedule as I'm focusing on wrapping up volume one.

In The Maw Of The Gods
Synopsis Lilly Harper was always the type to keep to herself. She struggled to make friendships and so, she simply opted not to. That was why moving to the coastal town of Wilham didn’t bother her. She wasn’t leaving anybody behind and she certainly didn’t expect to be making any friends any time soon. However, when she starts hearing about the school’s “Magic Club”—a group of weirdos who claim that magic is real, she can’t deny that she’s slightly intrigued. Then without warning, she suddenly finds herself wrapped up with them. And what if they aren’t crazy? What if magic is actually real? And what if it’s because of that magic that something more powerful than they could ever conceive of is drawn to Wilham? I plan to follow a release schedule of Tuesday/Friday. Average chapter length will be 4,000 to 6,000 words and I will be using multiple POV's quite often. Also to note, while I am flagging the story with content warnings, I am only doing so because there are specific moments where it will be needed. Overall, the story will be relatively tame and I plan to put extra warnings at the beginning of chapters that it applies to. Thank you to everybody who decides to give my story a chance and I hope you enjoy it!
