“What do we have to lose?...” Kaine hissed to himself as the horde of undead barrelled towards him.
As out of the swarm of monsters a mist of darkness rose, forming into a tattery-cloaked figure hovering over its minions.
The Lich gazed upon Kaine’s blank expression, “Of course, surrender, how wise a child. Nowhere to run, nowhere to hide, nothing left to do. Fully knowing that fighting will only bring the same outcome, ah how fond I am of young wise minds!” Krakt chuckled calmly, “Now come child, join my swarm…Become undeath and fulfil your destiny. With you under me, I shall awaken the Legions myself!”
Once more the Lich laughed, yet no sense of calm came from him now, a wicked cackle escaped the Lich that echoed off the hall’s walls.
“This is crazy…” Kaine then mused, as a smoky darkness began to fill his eyes, “But, let’s find out.”
System error, neurotic connection issues encountered.
Suddenly the blade of energy coming out of his left arm dissipated, reforming the claw like the right, both hands rose before himself and clenched into fists.
System error, multiple connections encountered.
A pressure began to form around Kaine, as sparks of flame and lightning faded in and out around him, as blades of wind began to spin about him, as shadows began to spiral out of where he stood.
The scales that had formed over his fleshy black hide suddenly fell off, falling to the floor and dissipating into puffs of green smoke.
System error, stabilizing connection.
His own dark demonic form began to shake, the skin covering his monstrous muscles and bones, it trembled.
Error 404
The monster that was Kaine took a deep breath inward, exhaling as suddenly he bashed both fists together.

All of the energy surrounding him then melded together, creating an upward rush of pure darkness, hiding him from sight and making the horde of undead stumble to a pause.

“Demonic Path; Weapon Imbue; Type Hell. Custom Casting; Multi Casting; Repeat Casting; Nova.” A voice came out of the darkness, as at the same time a flash of green flame blazed out briefly, “Telaquitzl.” Followed by a blast of wind exiting the spiral of shadows, visibly pushing all the other air away. “Orotovos.” Then a crackle of lighting rose through the darkness, followed by the resounding boom of thunder.
“Tezembre.” And finally, a slashing blade of shadows tore through the spiral, severing the darkness aside and revealing what lingered within.

Rising just as tall as he had in his monstrous form, now he had returned to mostly his original body size, other than several changes in appearance differing from the Elf or the Dark Elf, and far beyond the previous Demon.

A reptilian skin covered Kaine’s whole body, growing thicker in places like his chest, shoulders, arms and legs, even his forehead, neck and pointed ears but softer and thinner around elsewhere. Darkgreen were his tougher scales whilst the softer snakeskin was a gleaming pitch black, the same mixture as his eyes.
A black socket of darkness, with a single slit of dark green within each, his eyes focused on the Lich before him.
As he rose higher, his completely serpentine lower body slithering into a coil and raising his humanoid upper body.
Kaine raised each of his arms to the side, each clenching a different blade, starting with Nova’s grip and hand-guard yet only one was Nova. Four arms, four hands rose, four weapons he held.
Nova, a demonic weapon made up of many shades of green. Telaquitzl, dark green and white. Orotovos, dark green and blue. Tezembre, dark green and black.
Each of these four demonic weapons oozed their own personal aura of menace, exhuming their specific elements all around where Kaine stood.
Subsidiary skill of {Shapeshift} has been unlocked! {Draelith Form} unlocked!
“Nothing…left to do? You misunderstand.” A raspy voice left Kaine’s mouth then, “They were simply indecisive, unlike me, worry not decisive I will be with your unlife. Lich.”
Krakt’s dark eye sockets glowed a fierce blue at those words. “No matter what shape you take, I am several times more powerful than you, Daemon.”
Kaine chuckled, a wide smirk filling his expression as he met the Lich’s gaze. “You take me for a fool? You cannot touch me. You’re a Lich in control of a Dungeon, you have no choice but to wait inside your little boss room for me to come to you. Right now, you’re just projecting yourself here. You pose no real threat to me at this moment, which takes me to the next fact.”
His devilish green slits then fell from the Lich and down upon his horde of minions, his long dark green hair falling onto his face as well and his eyes peeked out from inbetween, “The only things keeping me here, is a swarm of trash mobs each equalling my level and a doorway requiring I at least meet the maximum level acquirable within this very hall. Meaning, as my previous alter ego came to the conclusion of, I simply need to massacre your filth until I meet said requirement.”
With two blade-points facing up, and the other two now turning to face downwards, Kaine’s smirk widened into a grin as his eyes focused.
Krakt chuckled at his words, “You seem set on following the same doom you previously did, tail or no tail, two arms or four, you will not survive this onslaught! Go my minions,” Krakt now exclaimed with as wide a grin. “Bring me his cold corpse.”

At those words the stampede recommenced, a rush of bones, rotting corpses and larger masses of the same, they swarmed upon Kaine.

“Try me, for I’d love to see you rotting flesh bags and piles of marrow…” Kaine hissed, as his entire body resounded with stress, as his muscles condensed and his tail restricted. “Come…Can you kill…This blood thirsty serpent that is me!?!?” Kaine bellowed out, suddenly springing forth, rushing into the horde three times as fast as he could before as his tail pushed him into a pounce.
Spinning as he soared, his four blades rotated about him, slashing and cutting all in his path. Kaine butchered his way through the horde, lightning, flame, wind and darkness bursting out with each hit landed, bodies fell left and right as he rushed through the horde like a heated knife going through butter.
[Draelith Arts] Martial Scroll Unlocked! Martial Art {Coiled Leap}
Ending his rush suddenly as he slammed his tail down, Kaine slid to a stop before turning and coiling once again.
Kaine spun, an abrupt rotation after coiling up, he spun in place like a saw-blade. Using his tail as he turned he began to move, slithering from side to side. Kaine slashed, stabbed, cleaved and cross-cut enemies that came into his path, a dance of blades, a monstrous dance, a demonic dance.
Martial Art {Draelith Dance}
And as a massive form began to rise out of the ground, severely larger than the other minions, a few heads taller even than the lesser dreadknights.
As the Elite Dreadknight rose out of the ground, Kaine sliced up each minion rushing at him, briefly focusing on its large form. Once again Kaine’s tail constricted, coiled up then suddenly burst with movement, sending him soaring into the air.
“Demons that I command, Demons that I wield. Merge and contract, form the blade I wish to wield!” Kaine chanted out of pure memory, of the foul magic he witnessed and clashed with in his past.
Moving his four arms before himself as he soared then, he pushed together the two that held Nova and Orotovos, the two weapons suddenly melding together and forming one hilt exhuming a blade of green lightning.
Using his other two hands, he melded Tezembre and Telaquitzl, forming a blade of dark winds.
Wielding the two weapons with two hands only, he did much the same as before, combining them together.
Spell {Four Demon’s Blade} unlocked!
Wielding now a single weapon, he turned it upside-down, holding it with all four hands Kaine clenched the grip tightly.
Its gleaming blade of dark metal formed, the edge radiating a greenish heat as the centre sparked with energy.
As he fell, blades of wind formed around the blade-point, spiralling about his descent.
“Hell summoning; Demon Art; Hell Blade!” Kaine exclaimed and each element merged then, summoning forth a rush of black-green smoke oozing out of his weapon.
Spell {Hell Blade} unlocked!
As he descended upon the rising monster, stabbing his blade down through its helm and deep into its head. Quickly his tail coiled around the elite’s neck, constricting, Kaine crushed its armour inward.
In reaction the monster raised its hands up to grasp him, trying to grab at him yet try as it might there was no holding onto his scaly tail as it lay crushing its neck. And the rest of Kaine lay all to high up for the monster’s bulky arms to reach.
With his blade stuck deep in its head, Kaine held on as it trashed, smiling all the while as he did.
“Now, for the grand finale!” He then exclaimed, “Lesser Hellnova!”
His weapon shuddered, as cracks of green flame rose from the blade’s core, rising out before suddenly diving down towards the blade-tip.
The Elite’s eyes shone brightly as hellfire spewed out of its rotten wounds, armour sections, eyesockets and mouth. A supernova lightning up deep within its belly, it burst out from any and all holes the energy could find.
Even out of the wound Kaine’s sword made, suddenly forcing his weapon out moments after detonation, Kaine was sent flying with the Elite’s head still clenched within his tail.
Releasing the crushed helmet, Kaine also released the four demon’s blade spell, regaining all four swords as he fell into freefall.
Coming down upon a group of undead, his weapons flashed into action, making short work of each.
Rising to his full height, Kaine glanced back at the Lich who’s own gaze had turned to astonishment.
Level Up!
Martial level 13 reached!
+1 to all Martial stats.
3 Neutral Martial Points available for distribution!
With each level up he had gone through from clearing this room, even as more and more monsters had began to respawn.
He knew as he released his weapons.
As he released his Drealith form, returning go his Dark Elf body.
Kaine knew as he pressed his hands onto the doors.
“I win.” He mused with a smirk.
“You can run, you can hide…But this is my dungeon! I will catch you, I will find you.” Krakt warned, “I will have your soul!”
Kaine chuckled as he pushed open the two doors, “Then come fetch me, you whiny bitch.” he snapped back, shutting the doors behind himself as he entered the new room.

The 8th Day
One day life is good. The next day it isn't! The boundaries between... well, whatever they're between.. have shattered! Monsters burst out from cracks in the universe, and reality suddenly begins to function similar to a game -- but not a game that anyone knows all the rules about! Magic is suddenly real, but so are monsters and death! Lots of death! And the worst part of it all? I think we did it to ourselves! We invented video games, and personally I think that great Finger-in-the-Sky picked up a console somewhere and started playing them. Since He liked what he saw, he must've declared, """"On the 8th Day, let there be Game!"But what do I know about it all, really. After all, I'm just """"The Witness"""" forced to observe it all.__________________________________________________________________________Author's Note: There's a lot of tales where characters get stuck in a Virtual Reality. """"Sword Art Online"""", """"Log Horizon"""", """"The Legendary Moonlight Sculptor"""". This is a story told with the premise inverted -- instead of a person from reality going into a virtual world, what would happen if the virtual world instead came to reality?I want this tale to speak about the aspects of the game, as it has affected the current reality, but the focus of the story should never be on the """"reality-turned-game"""" itself, but on the characters and their oh-so-human struggles, personalities, and attempt to adjust and live within the bounds of their new existence. Hopefully this won't just be a story of """"reality turned into a game"""", but instead will be something more meaningful such as a story of the strengths, perseverance, and humanity of man-kind as they try to adapt and face the unknown.*** And, most importantly, I hope everyone enjoys reading it as much as I've enjoyed writing it. ***WARNING: RATED MATURE M[18+] FOR GORE, SEX, VIOLENCE. The apocalypse isn't a pretty place to try to survive in, and neither is every scene in a story trying to describe it.

The Worst
A try on a virtual reality oriented story, about a guy who's absolutely mundane and anti-social but through FSK a VRMMO finds himself beingone of the worst people on the net. Maybe it's just stress relief or trying to have fun but this one is one step closer to writing a little better. You might find words that have mistaken letters in them or grammarbut I'm pretty confident in my english although it's not my main language.Lastly I would like to say report that the novel will have Mature contentof the worst sort, so please refrain from reading it unless you are an adult.
