《Our Chaoz; Our Reality (Completed)》Project; Timeline

Returning to my body, my soul is anything but intact.
As I open my eyes to find myself staring down at my younger self, sitting on his ass with tears drying in his widened eyes.
"Who...are you?" He asks.
"I am you, long in the future...I am you." I respond, seeing no reason to keep the truth to myself, seeing every reason to tell myself reality.
"What..." He was about to ask further, but I knew his question.
"The beast inside you, which ruined your life, which created mine...I've destroyed." I answer, as I watch Alison rush to his side, terrified of me yet still she came.
Bringing me a smile.
As my younger-self glances at her, then me, then his own hands as frostfire still frolicked about his fingers.
"T-Thank you..." He says...
"Don't thank me yet kid, I didn't come here to be your saviour. I never was, nor ever will be a hero." I say bitterly, as both of their young eyes stare up at mine.
Confusion filling them...
Expectation filling them...
Then worry, as I feel the cracks in time take their effect.
Glancing down at myself, I watch as it begins at my feet and tails.
As my body begins to slowly dissipate.
"What is happening to you?" She asks.
"I destroyed the beast," I answer with a smile, "Therefore, I cannot exist. Yet my existence is such a powerful one that, even time shall take some...time, to fix the paradox that is now me."
"Then...you did save me, at the cost of your own..." My younger self says, ever the sharp mind.
Causing me to chuckle coldly, "No, saving you is only a side-effect. Time will continue the same, the same events, just different people. Different beings, yet the outcome is now open. The ending to this story, has yet to be written." I muse, kneeling down before them.

I raise my clawed hand onto Alison's forehead then, "You, and only you will know of what has happened today." I tell her, as screams fill our surroundings, as my blade-ended tendrils of slime splatter the bodies of what was once a group of idiots.
Filling each of their expressions with fear, as they hold onto one another much more tightly now.
As I glance at the sky, or what I know to be simply a simulation of it. "Promise me, you old fool, that your plans for Chaoz remain the same." I ask the creator.
"The Story of Chaoz remains untouched, heroes will be summoned, wars will be fought. Lessons, will be learned." The voice responds, yet only I can hear it.
"No, not untouched." I chuckle, terrifying the young ones before me further with my insanity, as I glance down at my younger self. "Not after this." I whisper, a bitter-sweet smile upon my face.
"You wouldn't..." The voice says.
"That's what they all say." I muse back, as blueish slime forms at my hand, taking the shape of a thin blade.
As I plunge it into his chest, into my younger self's heart.
Hearing Alison's scream then, still I smile.
"Why?" The voice asks, "A happy life, he...you would have had now. With her." The voice tells me.
As I pull away, allowing the boy to collapse to the ground, shivering, clutching not his pierced heart but Alison who held him back.
"I've lived a long, happy life. With a beautiful family, children and a loving wife." I respond to the voice, as I step away from the scene. "This...This ensures the story, this ensures the beginning of it all..."
I sigh as the disappearance of my body quickens, "This ensures, a different outcome."
No response came from the creator.
Only the screams of this horrified and heart-broken child before me, as the boy dies in her arms.
"Now, you can call me hero..."
As my very existence...
"Two lives, for the price of one. I give."
Finally.

Starchild
“It’s life’s illusions I recall. I really don’t know life at all.” from the song, Both Sides Now, by Joni Mitchell Starchild is an adventure novel set within an understanding of reality that is rooted in Eastern spiritual traditions. It takes as its starting point experiments in remote viewing that were genuinely undertaken by the American military in the nineteen-nineties under the name of the Stargate Project. It then imagines how a more advanced attempt to weaponise the capabilities of consciousness might have been developed in the present day.The story then explores how Ultimate Reality might respond to such a threat.Deep, elemental forces thus bring together Samantha Martin and Sahadeva Varma, old colleagues from the Stargate Project, to avert the apocalyptic consequences of this military attempt to weaponise consciousness. This fast-paced story spans genres including romance, action, adventure, science fiction and more. Although this story is based on concepts drawn from established spiritual traditions, these have sometimes been extrapolated to the point of very extreme speculation for the needs of an adventure story.Much of the underlying philosophy, however, as explained in the dharma talks given by Samantha Martin, is paraphrased from the guidance of respected spiritual teachers. Scheduling: Starchild is a previously unpublished novel of one hundred thousand words which was serialised in weekly instalments over twenty-five weeks from 15th November 2021 to the 29th April 2022. Each instalment contains five chapters – an average of approximately four thousand words in each instalment. The Many Blades of Wuxia
Hundreds of years after the Heretic wars ended, life has returned to its blissful ignorant state that only peace could bring. Whilst the never-ending war between Man, Beast and Mutant rages on, most are not even aware of a war that happened between men. Its prophecies shattered, their remnants surviving only in obscure bard tales. One is about to grow. On the cracked face of the world, Essence storms and Beast Waves keep the citizenry locked atop the Emperor city of Qaelang. Knowledge of the past is as rare as the metals that flow into the hands of Sacred Artists and at the root of it all are whispers of a malignant force, ancient and terrible. Holding humanity back from achieving greatness, but hiding too are secrets best left untouched. Balance, discipline and order have held Qaelang secure since time immemorial, the powers within claiming to adhere to them. None are more fearful of change than the ones with the most to lose, but change is coming. Blade of Wuxia is a long character-focused epic fantasy with progression and growth. It's about a boy's quest to become powerful enough to save those he cares most for and give them a better life. It's set in a world of hidden pasts and uncovering them will set him on a path that shakes the Empire. As this is a rewrite that took on a wildly different spin, reviews are most welcome and help me do better. What can the reader expect? A Wuxia society set in a High fantasy world. People are only doing what they know and may have mistaken beliefs. A clever resourceful protagonist with human flaws A far-reaching hidden fantasy world, rich in history. Multiple points of view are used to follow the story to its natural conclusions, not every NPC has all the answers, but there is one MC in this book. Progression will take time and sometimes even unknowingly. MC is not trained in the ways and knowledge must be tempered against experimentation. Release Schedule. 2 chapters a week, family and work permitting. Only if I'm happy with the chapter will I release it. That being said I am open to revision should an articulated critical response show merit. This story is not completed yet but I do have a general idea of what the end looks like for both MC's (yes both) Ultimately feedback will be most influential on the progression of release as it's you guys I'm looking to entertain. Expected Changes None really, I'm writing as I go and have a path planned for 6 books Chapter release rate might change if we take off and feedback starts flowing, but for now, it is just about making sure Arcs flow smoothly onto the next. Cover, yes absolutely! If there is enough interest I will open a Patreon account and use the first proceeds to commission an EPIC cover and hopefully a few scary artworks of our brave Cultivators and the foes they face.
