System only accepts cash
Well, too bad, but might as well pick it up, I may have no pants but at least I'll have some nice jewelry.
And so our Hero decided to pick the ring up, which proceeded to glow mysteriously, before throwing a ghostly figure out of the ring, looking surprised that someone found his treasure.
Nice, do I get an old mysterious Master to protect me from my enemies friends?
And so the Cultivator looked around confused, maybe because he had been brain damaged from being in the ring for so long and looked around, trying to find the one who summoned him.
"Ah, even in death you haunt me, narrator-sama, be honest with me, am I in hell?"
After the cultivator noticed that his surroundings weren’t, in fact, burning right now nor can he hear the screams of the damned, he proceeded to look down and see a big, black, hard-
Please stop.
Sloth.
"Ah, are you the pet of the cultivator who found me, mr. sloth? Truly a… unique pet."
"Hey, I didn’t miss the pause in your sentence, the fuck does your ghostly ass have against the supreme race of sloths."
"No…"
"Yes, this handsome sloth is now the owner of your ring."
"How have I wronged the heavens so much..."
"Yeah yeah, get over it, let's cut it short, what overpowered power do I get by having this ring."
"...Well, might as well go with it, maybe it is simply fate that you are chosen to cultivate the secret art in this ring which is one of the most powerful methods ever seen on this plane of existence-
"Cool."
-and with which you can become a literal god, even if you are but a sloth."

"Racist."
"Could you please stop interrupting me?"
"I mean, I could." Not that I will.
"...Your path will be full of hardship and obstacles, but as long as you promise me to help with my revenge against the ones who betrayed me, I promise to help you to the pinnacle. What do you say, are you ready for the path of godhood!"
"Yeah, that’s gotta be a no from me, dawg."
"Great, now let's start out with- what."
"No thanks, seems like too much work for me, being a god is overrated anyway. I mean, just imagine being the guy in charge of this shithole."
*sigh*
"Very well, I shall respect your decision, lay down the ring again where you found it
and let our fates split again."
"Yeah, about that, I’m gonna keep it."
"...Why, did you have a change of heart?"
"Nope."
"Will you use my treasure for trading?"
"Unless I find someone who is willing to trade with a sloth or the system stops being a little bitch, no- no I won’t."
"Why keep it then?"
"I don’t know, it looks nice on my finger...claw thing? Anyways, I like it."
After this revalation the ghost proceeded to sit down, appearing exhausted for some reason, maybe the brain damage just only really kicked in .
"You alright, buddy?"
"...I think I may regret my life decisions."
"Welcome to the club, mate."

Mama runs a vintage diner inherited from family and the farthest I’ve been from home is a thirty-minute car ride to Oklahoma City. It's been a traditional middle-America upbringing. Until I have to defend myself from a vampire at sixteen. Suddenly, life is fight training, classes about monsters, and possessing a power I don’t understand or know the origin of—all made more complicated by a crush on my instructor, Agent Thirteen. I don’t want any of this, but The Agency promises to pay Mama’s medical bills and making sure she’s taken care of always comes first. It’s only been the two of us for years. A Simple Bar In The Multiverse
I'm Lucas, 30 years old and single. I went to drink with some friends that day and when I was walking home, I found some weird glowing door on a wall on which I've never seen anything before. I'm a bit ashamed to say that I instantly tried to open it. Behind it was that weird silver light which I also touched with my bare hand. Don't judge me! I was very drunk. It has nothing to do with my intelligence... Anyway, I seemed to have been transported in a magical room and an invisible female entity has just just given me an offer: Turn this bar into the best bar in the universe where you'll work forever. In exchange I would get great powers with great responsab... Wait! That's spiderman. Anyway, great powers and unlimited lifespan. I think I'll say yes... Follow the story of Lucas, the manager of the Simple Bar, while he turns this seemingly innocuous bar into one that becomes known in the entire Multiverse. Or at least in a big part of it. I mean, the Multiverse is virtually infinite, so... A part of the story will take place in the Divine Realm of the Wanderer's Realms from my first novel 'The Life of a Goddess and a Fox in the Cultivation World '. I will post 1 chapter every week at 7 p.m. EST on Saturday.
