The captain didn’t believe me, and imprisoned me instead.
{Anger has become lv 9}
I screamed and shouted at the soldiers to believe me, but they didn’t listen to me at all.
{Yell has become lv 5}
But while they were in the middle of interrogating me, training hall officer came and bailed me out.
He recounted my abilities and vouched for me.
I didn’t know about it until the captain himself came to the cell, patted my back and apologized.
{Charm has become lv 7}
“I’m sorry son. It’s the protocol, I hope you understand.”
*Ting*
[Skill: Military knowledge gained.]
Then he took me to see the commander of the army.
The place was huge. There were units upon units of ants waiting to receive orders.
We entered a smooth and spiral pillar, which the captain told me, was the command center of the entire ant army.
We walked and stopped outside a room.
The guard outside checked the captain and left him enter the room.
“Son, stay here.” Captain told me and went inside.
I peeked behind the guard and saw an ant that left me flabbergasted.
{Admirer has become lv 9}
The commander was big. His body looked absolutely ripped with chitin and had beautiful black color. He had big shiny wings tucked behind his back, and rainbow shine to his exoskeleton.
I couldn’t take my eyes off of him.
The captain talked to the commander and pointed at me.
Commander then glanced at me, and gestured the guard to let me enter.
I slowly moved forward and it suddenly got difficult for me to breath.
{Overwhelm has become lv 6}
My body got heavy and just as I was about to kiss the lovely floor the atmosphere returned to normal.
“Not bad.”
I took a deep breath, calmed my racing heart and gave a salute to the commander.

{Breath control has become lv 2}
{Focus has become lv 7}
“So you know where their camp is?” commander spoke with a somewhat aged voice.
“Yes sir.” I replied.
They showed me a map. It was just some lines drawn on a sand box, which had a lot of different colored stones.
The setup made me remember the map and when I checked it, it turned out that every colored stone were the marks.
I thanked god for my skills.
{Pity has become lv 6}
*Ting*
[Skill: Faith gained.]
“Where did you see the camp?” The scout soldier, a slender ant with bright eyes asked me.
I looked at their crude map, and pointed at a point behind a brown bark, past a stone.
*Ting*
[Skill: Scribe gained.]
“Pfft. I mean tell me where the place is and Leave the map alone. It is not a toy.”
But he got surprised when the location I told him was the exact place where I had pointed.
Even the commander looked astonished at such a display.
{Charm has become lv 8}
{Pride has become lv 4}
The scout asked me how I deduced the position, but the commander didn’t want to listen to that.
Such display of ability was although astonishing, meant nothing more than another ant in scouts department for him.
“So, at that place there are about two hundred black ants camping?”
“Excluding the injured and the returnees.” I added.
{Memory has become lv 7}
The commander nodded his head and the soldier came to take me out.
The commander and captain discussed for a minute or two, and then the captain came out of the room with the scout.
“The commander has sanctioned the mission. The game is on.”
The captain patted my shoulder and walked, but I stopped him.

{Determination has become lv 8}
I asked him to let me come.
“You are not a soldier. You have already done enough son. Now let us handle the rest.”
I politely requested, but the captain didn’t listen and walked away.
I tried to sneak away, but the soldiers on patrol caught me and the captain seeing me being an idiot smirked.
*Ting*
[Skill: Slippery gained.]
While the soldier asked him what they should so with me, the captain told him to let me go.
I was going to ask him once more, but stopped and started walking.
And then I heard the captain.
“But now that I think, I do need an assistant for the mission.”
{Charm has become lv 9}
I stopped and looked back and saw him nodding.
“Don’t just stand there, hurry up and move. We need to attack them before they leave.”
There they are; looking all worn out and exhausted, probably feeling sad and worried too.
That’s might be the reason they look all packed and ready to go.
But they should have left by now.
I actually feel pity for them… not.
Behind me and the captain stand thousand ants.
To our left and right stand two thousand more.
And equal amount of ants are covering the escaping routes, courtesy of Mr. scout.
It was an awesome sight to see so many ants standing shoulder to shoulder in the open.
{Vision has become lv 9}
{Breath control has become lv 3}
{Breath has become lv 7}
And breath finally leveled after such a long time.
“Are you ready?”
The captain asked, and I nodded my head.
“Then let’s go.” He then nodded his head to his other assistant, who followed the order.
“Everyone we charge at the count of three. One… two… CHARGE!!”
{Military knowledge has become level 2.}
And with the shouts of the soldiers and the war song created by the leaf players, the whole circle of ants attacked the enemy camp.
*Ting*
[Skill: Resistance to Mood influence gained.]
The enemy black ants got petrified being attacked from the both sides.
{Admirer has become lv 10}
*Ting*
{Admirer has reached its maximum level}
And present you with the choice to:
Admire or Be admired
{Admirer has reached the max level.}
[Please choose an option: To admire/ to be admired.]
What is this?
The skill is evolving. Now, don’t waste time and choose one option, I have work to do.
I didn’t understand the reason, but following the words, I chose to admire others, rather than be admired.
*Ting*
[Skill: Ward gained.]
The encirclement broke their legs and the share number broke their hearts.
In three minutes we massacred them and got ourselves 50 prisoners and 400 men worth of food.
Though I didn’t get to have fun in the middle, but the whole activity was enough to get my blood boil.
I asked captain what would he do with the prisoners, and he replied.
“Most of them will be used as workers and some of the better fighters will be used to train the next generation.”
{Military knowledge has become lv 3}
When I asked him won’t they create problems, he said,
“They are smart enough to choose between death and being worker.”
The captain is scary.
{Interrogation has become lv 5}
When we returned back home a soldier saluted the captain and passed him a message.
His eyes opened wide and he laughed. He then looked at me and said, “Cheer up son, tomorrow our queen will award you personally.”
{Pride has become lv 5}
