《Dragon Ball: Saga Of The Strongest Human》Chapter 9: Last Lesson

Back home Darc went straight to his room and put his school bag and other things to their places and stretched himself out. Then he let himself fall straight unto the bad and rolled over to look at the ceiling.
It is time. Today he is gonna start his new plans. He thought it mostly through and if he succeeds then most things won't become a problem for him.
The only thing that could stop him would be strong enemies or that weird child Zeno.
For strong enemies, only training and fighting would give him progress until he reaches the summit where he could breathe with the utmost freedom and without any regrets in this world.
To reach that he would have to bleed a lot.
He stretched his left hand and grabbed the 6star dragonball from his cupboard and held it in front of himself.
These balls are truly the solution for a crisis. His is a bit of a different one but to get what he wants he will have to use the balls in the end.
Even people like Goku had to rely on them. The revival of the dead. The revival of entire Universes. If one had these balls one would become a god of this world. No, even more than that.
He thought about it and still wondered about why these balls really existed. If for big crisis then why was a crisis in their eyes really such a problem?
When the creators knew that crisis would befall the world why do they let crisis nefall the world in the first place?
And these balls could bring crisis themselves as well.
Darc closed his eyes and placed the ball on his chest. He breathed slowly in and out.
Then he rubbed rapidly through his hair.
`Argh, thinking so much about it gives me a headache. I should just accept it as it is ´

He stood up with the ball and put it into a little suitcase. After close the case he pushed a button and it became a capsule. This capsule he put inside another case with a lot more capsules and put that into a bag.
Darc changed into a comfortable new blue battle gi he brought himself with his allowance. It was much larger then he himself but it also would accommodate some of his growth in the future.
After all, he only was 8 now and with 1,44 meters of height he still didn't reach his peak. But he was pretty tall for his age that was sure. All his classmates were sorter by a few inches.
His oval face was slowly losing his childish look and transforming into rough contours. It would still take a few years until it is all done but he was happy.
He walked downstairs after putting on his gi. It looked a lot like Gohan´s gi while training with Goten if he had to compare it to one of the z fighters. The only real difference is is his white shirt underneath it.
He liked the combination of deep blue with white blankness underneath and a touch of red like the red belt and red feet bandages.
He would probably wear most of his fighting gear in such a color scheme if he would be truthful.
------
Being downstairs again he went to a door and knocked three times against it and waited.
"Come in" came through the door. It was Zarid´s voice. It was the guest room he was staying at.
Darc came inside the room and greeted Zarid.
"Teacher...today is the day. Are you ready?", he asked his teacher Zarid.
Zarid smiled when he heard his words.
"I am always ready, my disciple. These old bones of mine even got a little excited."

Darc noted his words and chuckled. "You aren't so old. At least I don't any other old man that can punch big holes through meters of steel with ease."
Zarid also started to laugh softly: "You flatter me. After all, I don't know another 8-year-old kid who can match my so insane strength that you mention."
Zarid´s gaze drilled right through Darc and he seemed a moment in thought.
After all the hard training and sparing the both went through they both knew about the weakness of the other.
But never would Zarid have imagined that after those few years this disciple of his would reach such heights.
It was a remarkable talent that one would probably never see again in thousands of years. Even he himself is learning at growing in experience himself while teaching this child. And that was also the major reason he was staying longer than the planned to.
"Alright then. Let's move to a suitable wide place." Those words were his agreement.
Both moved outside and Zarid looked around first and after he saw no one around he slowly rose up from the earth.
Yes, he floated upwards then charged up and flew in a direction where one could see mountains at the back.
Darc watched him and started grinning. This right here was one thing he liked most after going through that hellish training. He could fly! It's something everyone dreams of doing when one was small and he himself was now able to do this.
He would have never thought this possible but here was standing.
But he soon shook his head to put those daydreams aside and also jumped up and started to fly after Zarid.
Their speed was fast enough to reach some plains that seemed to have no civilization around them and both landed.
----
Darc stood on the other side of Zarid.
"Uff, I think I kinda get cold feet." He jumped up and down a few times and loosened his wrist shaking his hands.
Zarid on the other side grinned and positioned himself into a fighting pose.
It was the fighting pose of the tiger school that Zarid teaches. It had a lot of similarities from the wolf stance Yamcha was making but both feet were firm on the ground and the left leg was outstretched. Both his hands looking like claws, one further from him away than the other. His body was lowered somewhat. It really resembled a tiger crouching and being ready to jump at his pray.
Darc saw this and a glint of excitement flashed through his sapphire eyes.
He tensed a bit up and also positioned himself into the same position with a big grin was placed on his face.
....
Bot stayed silently on their positions and no one engaged the other. If battle intent could be seen then sparks would fly around. There could no bird be heard chirping at that moment.
At the same time, a giant dino that looked like a Trex ran by and saw them both. It charged at them but after approaching a few meters it felt something and got scared. It turned around and instantly fled.
Then a movement from Zarid with the right foot.
Darc saw it and initiated his attack "HAAAAAA!", he cried out while his heart pumping madly with excitement.
"HOOOO!" came in response from Zarid.
The clash began!

Helena's Plane
Paul, a bored young man, wakes up in a white room. A young woman tells him he has died, that she is some kind of god who likes videogames and he will be reborn in an RPG-esque world so she and her fellow god-friends can watch him for entertainment.Unfortunately, the goddess forgot to give Paul most of the obligatory, obvious cheat-abilities to make him rush to power in easy mode. Paul embraces his new life full of clichés, perverts, magic, loot and action. And animal girls.18+ !CONTAINS GRAPHIC VIOLENCE AND SEXUAL CONTENT! (Actual sex is still hard to find, but you will get it. Eventually. Sporadically.) =================Author's note:So, this is my very first novel. It will be poorly written, has a huge info-dump disguised as a first chapter (to be rewritten. At some point in the future. I guess.), and may or may not offend everyone for different reasons. Perhaps you will just find it boring, which would be even worse. The description turned out a bit comedic, but the story isn't overly so.I have a rough idea of where this will be going, but expect some bumps on the road, as well as logic holes, flat characters and a lot of borderline copyright infringements from all the ideas I got reading other works. And did I mention I'm not a native speaker? No? Well, expect some embarrassing grammar and wording choices. The main character is a more or less normal guy, without high morals, martial arts skills or even a desirable goal in life. There is mature content, in terms of violence and sexual content. It won't become a full-blown erotic novel, and it may or may not be your cup of tea when it comes to the type of content.Critics welcome.

Eater of Spirits
Story is abandoned. There will be no more updates on it. Jarod is kind of a loser, as it goes with these stories. A tear in his reality pulls him into another world, where he gains the ability to devour spirits, the locus of magic within the world. This is far from my first foray into fiction, but it is my first time posting anything to royal road, and first time writing LitRPG. This is an exercise in putting things out there, and just writing. That means that all of this is going to be a first draft, where edits may come sparsely if there is a glaring issue or something I think should be better. Thanks for reading!
