《Dragon Ball: Saga Of The Strongest Human》Chapter 10: Student VS Teacher

Darc approached Zarid with an unbelievable speed and was instantly in front of him.
He started with a punch to the head but didn't think such a simple move would hit and combined 2 more punches to the body and one sweeping kick to the side of the waist.
Zarid naturally moved his head to the right side to avoid the incoming punch while still remaining pretty much in the same spot and focusing more on the dogfighting that was about to commence. He grabbed both fists from Darc that came afterward and lifted his leg up to block his kick.
Then Zarid smiled and counterattacked with flinging both fists that he blocked to the side where Darc`s attacking with his leg came from and destabilized Darc for a short amount of time.
It was just enough to start an attack on him with his fists.
Darc grit his teeth after losing balance but still managed to angle on of his arms into an elbow and engaged one of the incoming hits to his body with that.
But he still got one hit to his stomach since he was too late to block with his other arm.
When his leg reached the ground again he immediately positioned it back beside his other on and leaned backward to avoid an energized kick from Zarid.
Seeing his Kick being avoided after landing that punch, Zarid tried to take his leg back but it was grabbed by Darc and later after he came back up locked under his armpit.
"Let's see how you like it.", exclaimed Darc and punched out.
Zarid blocked all punches with his palms because it was pretty easy. Darc only had one free hand while he had two. But he soon cringed because Darc started punching the leg he locked up.
"Urgh..." Zarid felt the pain and before Darc could continue attacking his leg he used his other leg and kicked explosively to get free.

But Darc saw that coming and caught the other leg while shifting his balance a little and started spinning.
"HAAAAA" After a short while when the gravity force was enough that Zarid couldn't do anything he sent him flying to a huge boulder.
Zarid tried to push some of his ki to decelerate his impact but it was still too fast. So he crashed right into that huge boulder and brought it down with him.
Darc looked relaxed and smiled after he saw Zarid make contact with that.
´But I hope nothing happened to those old bones. I am still not sure how powerful using the environment is´, thought Darc
After about 3 seconds he sighed and made himself ready again because he saw Zarid digging himself out of the rubble and sprint back at him.
"Using the environment was a good idea, child. But now I am angry! Prepare yourself!", shouted Zarid and flared his ki up. He made one hand into a claw and moved it diagonally from his back to his front. "Datushahu (Slaughtering Tiger)!!"
Five white bladelike kibeams blasted out from the earth and reached a height of 3 meters. This beams charged forward and melted into one going beam that rose in height to 5 meters.
"Damn old man. Using ki attacks was not part of the agreement!", complained Darc in shock. He knew that attack and it was devastating. This damn old man actually wanted to see him dead. But Darc didn't hesitate, charged up his own ki and made the same move. "Datushahu (Slaughtering Tiger)!!"
Both pillars of ki traveled and met at the center. The collision at first was tranquil. Both attacks tried to destroy the other. If Darc could he would send out more energy into that attack but this type of ki was more of a one time charge up. It wasn't connected to his body so he could only watch and hope he used enough ki to overtake his teacher´s attack.

But shortly after the attacks didn't push on anymore and melted together. They probably lost their momentum and now this mess was about to explode. It gave a deafening sound from it and truly dispersed in every direction after exploding. Throwing up dust and chunks of earth.
Darc jumped further away from the impact after feeling the strength of the explosion. While doing that he had to destroy flying rubble.
Nothing could be seen any more since a lot of dust hindered the view.
Darc tried to use his hearing instead of his eyes and noticed some steps. He immediately guarded up. And Zarid really came and attacked him.
"Sly old fox, using even this moment to get an advantage.", talked Darc while blocking and attacking back.
Zarid smiled. "Its called experience, child."
"Experience, huh. And what would have happened if I died there because of that attack?" said Darc as a retort to his words.
"Then that would have been your limit...And I could say the same." The smile on Zarid was gone. He knew what his disciple was capable of so he didn't worry that much but sure enough if this disciple of his used strength beyond his control and the one dying would be he himself and not this rascal.
"That would be your old age then.", laughed Darc.
Zarid his eyelid twitched. "Didn't I tell you to respect your teacher? It seems I didn't beat you enough for that"
And with no further add, he immediately punched Darc into his face and it was a clear hit.
Darc gritted in pain and got angry as well punching Zarid as well and hitting too.
Afterward, it was only a beat them up fest. Both Darc and Zarid started to land more and more hit with punches and kicks and the slowly got more and more tired.
That was a true dogfight. Not much resembled a martial art anymore after both were engaged in close quarter battle.
They disengaged after some time and where huffing strongly
Their clothing was also damaged somewhat on some spots here and there but they didn't really care about that.
"Huff....Hey old man..... What's up? Are you already getting ... huff...tired out?" Darc mocked him more to rile him up.
"You.... huff.... are one to talk. It seems you.... huff....can't even beat an old and feeble man...huff... like me" answered Zarid.
Both used the same method of angering the other to get what they want but it, in the end, it didn't really come to fruition
Darc started up again and Zarid engaged as well. They locked their hands together and started a battle of strength. Both of them gritted their teeth and hit knee against knee.
But it looked like Darc had made a bad decision in going in like this. He was smaller than Zarid by about 20cm. So he was short some length and after a while got hit straight into his stomach.
"Gah!...", Darc put his arms in front of his stomach out of pain and habit to protect what hurt and didn't notice that Zarid let go of his hand so that he even could do that in the first place.
It didn't take long and he was powerfully hit on his neck by Zarid and with that Darc´s his eyes defocused and all light went out for him.
He was unconscious. And the winner of this match is Zarid.
Zarid breathed out and sat down. He was really tired out by this kid.
"You really are a monster, child. I don't even want to know into what you will grow."
Zarid placed on hand on the back of his pelvis rubbed his sore back.
"Damn, this pain I am gonna feel for ages to come."

Black Wind, White Lotus
In this world, there are haves and have nots. The former are pureblooded humans, some of whom are capable of manipulating qi, the mysterious energy that flows through every living creature, to miraculous results that defy the laws of nature and physics. Wen Feili was one such cultivator. However, she allied with the have nots- the anthropomorphic hybrids incapable of channeling qi-and dabbled in forbidden demonic arts, seeking to change the very composition of reality. This did not end well for her, and she was consumed by her own flames. A decade later, far in the northwestern mountains, her daughter Wen Fengli is working as a lowly servant of the minor Shuangshan sect. In between sweeping the floor and avoiding bullies, she secretly trains with a wooden sword, hoping to become a warrior cultivator at some point in the future. However, since she's part-human, part-wolf, it's just a pipe dream. ....or so she bitterly thought. However, one day a mysterious amulet that belonged to her mother falls into her hands. A deranged old master, a terrible conspiracy, a mysterious past? None of that matters to tomboyish wolfgirl, who only seeks to become stronger. She embarks on a journey of adventure and self-discovery, towards the mysterious southern lands where pure demi-humans are said to live...as spectre of war once again envelops the world of man. This is a Chinese-themed fantasy story set in a fictional world. You can classify it as xianxia, if you wish, but it's a rather low fantasy variant; the heavenly realm is silent, no one reached immortality in generations, and magical artifacts of old are locked away and feared. Magical beasts and spirits have been driven to the corners of civilisation, and "ordinary" abilities such as flying or controlling swords through telekinesis are considered spectacular feats. The main plot of this book revolves around a kemonomimi girl who seeks power, no matter the cost. This story also features multiple character pov, and will not always follow the perspective of the mc- there are two major plotlines, one connected to conspiracy and war ongoing in the political background of the presented world, and the other focusing on the main character's physical and metaphorical journey.
