《Dragon Ball: Saga Of The Strongest Human》Chapter 40: GP Outpost

Darc was levitating crosslegged and was in meditation. Around him, some small ki balls were moving around him in a chaotic and at the same time calm matter as if they were little wisps dancing and playing around.
+Darc, we are arriving at our destination. Please prepare yourself. Reducing gravitational stress from 125g back to 1g.+
Darc opened his eyes and the energy balls disappeared around him. "Thanks for telling me, Alice", he said and stopped his levitating and went to the bridge where he could look through a window.
What he saw was a space station that was massive in size. "Is that the outpost of the galactic patrol. They don't even have a planet for that? What the hell are they even doing."
+It matches the information we got from the Headquarters. I already send the secret contact code and we got the green light for landing. Please use your spacesuit when going out.+
"Don't worry. I would have done that even without you reminding me." , he said and went to prepare himself.
He put his armor on his body and also placed his helmet on his head and activated the oxygen connection.
He waited in the decontamination room. That was basically in front of the exit and clenched his fists in expectation. The Ship docked on a landing platform after entering the station.
+Detecting multiple BP around 2k. A few with about 100k. Highest energy signature about 150K. Threat level: Very low. Opening doors now.+
----
"Captain, we got a message from an unidentified ship. But it is a Galactic Patrol code we use from the north galaxy. What should we do?", asked a staff member when receiving the code on the screen and telling his superior.
"It's alright. We already got word that we get reinforcements from headquarters. Rejoice, my fellow comrades. We finally get to bash those Glaze goons back to where they came from!", said a little yellow alien with a big head and brown long hair. He kinda looked like a dwarf with that brown beard combination that he got.
Everyone cheered at those words.
----
When Darc came of his spaceship everyone looked at him weirdly. Even if they were enthusiastic they still remained calm. And what was this? Only one person? This wouldn't help them.
"Captain Adrek, is that our reinforcement?", asked another short guy in a quiet voice. He seemed from the same race as the captain since he also had yellow skin and a beard. Looking closer there were many of that race standing around. They probably were a race that lived in the western galaxy.
"I am not sure, Grell", answered Adrek back in a quiet voice.
Then Adrek moved closer to Darc "Are you our reinforcement? Where are the others? Are they still inside the ship?", he asked him and looked up to him. It was a little comical to see Darc looking down at his quasi-superior officer.

"Yes, I am here to support you...and I am alone...", he said and his voice sounded muffled through the helmet.
At that moment one could clearly feel the atmosphere getting awkwardly quiet. You could also clearly see what everyone was thinking. Did headquarters abandon them? How can they do anything with just this guy?
"I see...That's good to know. And you just accepted your mission like that? Isn't that quiet the suicide mission?", asked Adrek. "Well, anyway. I am captain Adrek. I am your commanding officer and you will receive all missions from me. Let's work well together."
Darc smiled and those people could see it because his helmet had a large part that was clear glass. "Don't worry so much. I am worth thousands of people on my own.", said Darc and someone activated their scouter at those cocky words. Even the good guys seemed to use them.
"A Battle power of 5? Are you kidding me?", said the alien when it looked at the result of its scan.
Darc made big eyes and looked at that person. Not that he was baffled by his words but because this guy actually looked like Yoda! He was really small and green and had long pointy ears! He had a bald head though.
"What, you thought we wouldn't know?", said the guy again after seeing him stare like that as if in shock.
"Stop that, Roger. If you already scan something then why don't you scan the ship for once.", interrupted him a female alien that had darkish blue skin with orange hair.
"Hmm, what are you talking about, Serta?", frowned Roga and scanned the ship. "What the hell? What is that energy generated inside the ship? Is that a new generator?", he asked after he saw the numbers.
Darc looked back. He actually forgot to deactivate the orb he used to track the ship. He sighed and increased his power to his normal level.
"Scan again, then you can see my power level. I just suppressed it a moment ago.", he told them and waited until Adrek himself scanned him.
The numbers rose higher and higher and Adrek slowly got sweat rolling down his face because he felt fear. "6...670.000 battle power", he said with a slight stutter.
"What!?", said Roger and scanned as well. It was the truth. "Damn, it's true. Well looks like headquarters did send someone useful. Sorry for misjudging you. Still, that is a far cry from the special unit guys from Glaze. And our agents also got information that Glaze himself was in the tens of millions himself. You really sure you want to do this?"
Darc smirked and suppressed his energy again. "That's not all my strength and that Maddiri guy is already dealt with. He tried to invade my home planet in the north galaxy. So one guy less to take care of.", explained Darc to them.

"Maddiri, huh. He should have a battle power of a million. Not bad that you were able to get rid of him. He gave us a lot of problems. Alright, listen. If you can help us get rid of those other 9 special unit guys we can handle most of our stuff ourselves. The last problem would be Glaze but he wouldn't act on his own so easily and we could establish a sturdy foothold here", noted Adrek.
"That won't do. I am here to get rid of Glaze. He tyrannized this part of the galaxy already long enough, don't you think? But I will get rid of his goons first to bring his attention to us.", said Darc after hearing Ardek.
"Are you insane? Well, I won't stop you if you really are after your death. Just help us at least a little before doing that. Follow me if you want your first mission."
Darc nodded and followed Ardek. The aliens Roger, Grell, and Serta also came with them. It looked like they were lieutenants and in charge of some areas. The energies that he felt from them was probably the ones that were the highest here from all the people and Ardek himself had the largest signature.
Still, compared to their enemies it is remarkable that they aren't all dead already.
---
Inside the command center, Ardek showed Darc a 3D galactic map of the western galaxy that was way more detailed than the one he got from headquarters. He immediately scanned it and copied the information. Looks like this outpost didn't interchange information much with the headquarters. What the hell was that poor practice?
"Look here. We got information that on this planet" he zoomed in on the 3D holographic map "Glaze´s army is mining a material that is used to produce weapons for his army. If we could manage to destroy that mining post or take it for ourselves it would put his army into a short window of shortage for weapons. There is also information that two other captains of his special unit are there. You would get those two goons and we a window to breath. Can you do that?", explained Ardek and looked at him.
Darc fumbled with his own arm holographic and sorted data. "Consider it done. It still will take me 2 months to go there and come back would make it 4 months. Hell, this galaxy is huge. Seems like my home planet was pretty close to the center of the galaxy to arrive here in 3 months.", he answered.
"That's not really a lot of time. When we do jobs we consider everything under a year pretty fast...", said Ardek and was surprised his ship can go to that distance in only 2 months.
"Well, I am on my way then. You should get people to be already on their way to that planet as well so we do this efficiently. As soon I am finished you can scavage everything there is and take over. Don't even consider me failing. Now let's get moving.", said Darc in a somewhat commanding voice and walked back to his ship.
"Damn, this guy is pretty arrogant to give us orders like that", said Roger.
"Let's just do as he said. We don't have much to lose anyway. Grell, get your people to attack the surrounding planets there as planned as well. Looks like with this guy we will have our hands full of work as well.", said the female Serta to her comrades.
Ardek looked at her. "Good, follow that plan and always stay in contact. Move out!", ordered Ardek to all his officers and men. "Let's just hope this ends in a good result.", he mumbled.
----
Inside his ship, Darc sat on his cockpit and uploaded the data of the map and other useful data like ally ships signatures etc.
"Alice set course to the designated planet. Take any countermeasures needed for any enemy encounter and consult me if anything bad happens. Now, let's move out. Time to train more it seems.", he said.
If those goons really are as strong as Ardek said they are then this job will be harder than he thought. And it would take time. Sure he didn't need to move back but even moving forward would probably take years.
He just shrugged his shoulders at that thought and pressed the start button to start flying. He already got pretty familiar with the ship's controls.
+Understood. Calibrating route. Destination set. Arrival in about 2 months.+
Darc felt the ship start flying. He put his armor to the side and started his training once more. Standing in the training room he stretched himself and got ready. "Alice, let's push my limits. Increase gravity to 150.", he ordered her.
+Understood. Starting to monitor vitals.+
Darc started training again. It was a dull process but he needed to do it for now. He couldn't just believe every enemy would be weaker than him so he needed to get stronger. At least until he can train with the Z-Fighters later and get stronger like that.
