《Dragon Ball: Saga Of The Strongest Human》Chapter 50: Future Path

Appearing right in front of the Capsule Corporation, Darc looked around and saw that not much changed. Maybe a few new flowers were planted in the front garden.
Then he walked to the door and rang the bell. It didn't even take too long and Bulma herself opened up the door. She looked at him with arched brows and widened eyes and stayed silent for a while blankly looking at him.
Darc frowned a little because her reaction was weird. Then he looked down at himself and checked if anything was wrong on his body but he couldn't see anything that stood out. He even wore his normal casual clothes before he teleported here.
"Is something the matter or why are you staring at me like you saw a ghost?", he asked her.
"...How many times are you going to change so much?", she asked back and circled around him to inspect him more. "You became a giant! What are you now? 1,90m?"
"Oh, that again. Well, no matter how often you tell me. It's not like anything changes in my perspective. I am actually not sure." Darc didn't know his height himself but he was 188cm and that would be his maximum since he had his growth spurt.
Then Darc also eyed her up as well. "But I got to say you actually did shrink somewhat? Oh, well. That just makes you cuter I guess. And what's with that outfit?", he asked after seeing what she was wearing. It was actually her wild rider outfit that she used when riding her bike. He liked what he saw so he smiled right after the question.
Bulma noticed that and smirked. "You like it?" Then she posed a little bit more to show a little bit more angle on some certain points like her ass when she turned 360 degrees and later her bosom while placing her arms akimbo under her breasts.

Darc only nodded after seeing that and also kinda stayed cool-headed on her tries to use her sex-appeal. "Sure, a lot actually. It compliments your temperamental personality. It's also good you kept your hair longer." He gave her a thumbs up after his words.
She actually pouted a little because his reaction was a little lackluster. Then she sighed and put her hands on her hips and furrowed her brows. "What do you mean I got a temperamental personality? Well anyway, for me it has been a long time! No wonder you look so different every time you visit. At least you won't change that much now...You won't, right?", she said a little bit angrily and actually doubted her words right after.
Darc only chuckled about that. "Of course I won't grow anymore. I do know my father is a giant and got my genes from him but even that has its limit. I should have gone through my growth spurt. Now, are we still gonna stand outside here or do we actually get inside?", he said and asked her about the fact that they still stood in front of the door.
Realizing what he said she did notice standing around here wouldn't be good any longer. "Alright, let's get inside then.", said Bulma and walked in front of him.
Darc just followed her and actually wandered with his gaze to her bottom. He smiled but also as soon as he noticed her looking back he averted his gaze.

Inside the house, both of them met the overfriendly Ms. Briefs again. She seemed to shine even more after seeing Darc again and tried to drag him away from Bulma to get him to keep her some company. Bulma got annoyed by that and won the drag fight for him. He wondered why a few women were so weird sometimes.

"Is your mother always so overly clingy to male visitors?", he asked Bulma after gaining some distance away from her mother.
Bulma on the other hand stayed silent for a second and thought what to say. "It´s just that she is overthinking stuff...She wants to get herself a son in law soon and wants to see some grandchildren. I am definitely not ready for that yet. It's really embarrassing sometimes. And you! Don't always play along with her demands!", she said with a low voice.
"Hmm, but I think you would make a good mother actually. So why are you so against it right now?", he said and thought about future Trunks. She and her future counterpart was pretty caring for her children. Well, if you overlooked her little mistakes like taking baby trunks to the androids and such everything else was pretty good he thought.
Bulma actually blushed after hearing his words. "You think so? I thought you think of me pretty tomboyish and temperamental?", she asked after getting her composure back and looked at him now.
"I never said anything about being tomboyish.", laughed Darc lightly and grinned afterward. "But at the same time, you are pretty caring for the people around you. So I think you would just make a good mother. That´s really it."
She thought about his words and smiled. "Thank you. You are actually the first person that told me that.", she answered and acknowledged his opinion. "Still, I just think I am not ready yet. Maybe in a few years time. After all, I still want to enjoy my young age.", she added and laughed lightly."How about you? Already got anyone special? I know you always teased me so I am not gonna accept the lines like you actually love me. So answer truly, alright?", she asked him directly now and had a little bit of expectation in her eyes. She really was curious about what he was thinking about that theme.
Looks like she matured more than he thought. That put a smile on his face and he actually had to tease her again. Just for the fun. "Oh, really? And what are you gonna say if I do actually love you? Are you gonna say yes and bear my children?", he said with a big smirk and leaned slightly forward to look her into her eyes.
Bulma blushed because he came closer and looked at him blankly. She thought about something at first but came back to her senses. She closed her eyes shortly and put her arms akimbo as if being determined about something and smiled back at him. "Sure, I would do that.", she said and also looked into his eyes now.
Darc arched his eyes upwards. This was actually a moment he couldn't just skip with a half-serious answer. It was actually the moment where his relationship with her would actually change into a certain direction if he really accepted this proposal.
Sure, it still could end up with a disaster but at least he would have tried that path with her. He also could just end any romantic approaches here and also stop being so teasing with her for both of their feelings.
How will he decide? It kinda nagged at his mind and he started to wrinkle his brows and think about this seriously.

Many Minded
Synopsis: Issa Pyxis, Spacer orphan and illegal heretic, graduated from living on the streets to running with a gang years ago, but now it looks like that’s all going to change. Her inheritance, more specifically who—or what—she is, is catching up with her, and on a planet with the Emperor’s inquisitors slinking around in every shadow, nowhere is safe and no one can be trusted. What will she do? A cyberpunk story about identity, loneliness, covert infiltration, evil dystopias, and much more! Features: - Cyborgs and cyberpunk galore - This is indented to be somewhat “rational” and “hard” Sci-Fi story - Original Fiction however parts of my worldbuilding are inspired by other Sci-Fi stories (duh) Rationale: The future is cool, AIs are kickass, and questions about consciousness are simultaneously existential and yet unanswered. To me, this story is a vehicle for exploring these topics, and also, I wanted to write a story where the protagonist was unafraid of themselves and where their self is more like a git-repo than a meat computer. Disclaimer: This story primarily takes place in what we’d describe as a “cyberpunk dystopia” with some extra technocracy, autocracy, and religious fervor thrown into the mix, so there will be some “grittiness” in this story. Caveat emptor. Also, [insert your favorite boilerplate “views expressed” disclaimer here]. I shouldn’t need to say this, but the main character and other characters in my story can be wrong on occasion (gasp!) and the way they view the world isn’t always objective truth (if such a thing even exists) nor do their views and opinions necessarily reflect the views of me, the author. Rage: Crisis / Consequence / ???
Its been ten years since Seth was given his powers, ten years since his town was driven mad by that very same power, and ten years since its source was shunted into his head. A species of energy beings, a people filled with regret for what their entrance onto this world caused. Regret for the deaths that town perpetuated, the devastation they brought, the blow they served to the once proud heroes of this world. Heroes Seth now hopes to join, hopes to heal and atone to for what transpired. But their wounds run deep, their ire sharp, and their acceptance thin. And to top it all off... Seth's power is run far deeper than he knows, and sees his world in a light all its own. This series is my first foray into authoring, with two parts out of at best four if the readership stands. But part three will still book end nicely otherwise. And I'm not stopping till then. It is action heavy with varied and ramping up fight scenes through out. (Book 1 is heavy / Book 2 a little lighter) It is bloody in places, mildly gory in others, and heavily gory in simulated places. Nothing truly horrifying, I think, but be warned. It has trauma. PTSD is a major part of the story, but I will never trust that I got it completely right, so your mileage may vary on how believable or impactful it is. Lastly it has language. Swearing ebbs and flows as the story progresses and attitudes harden or soften. Sometimes bleeding through into the narration... somehow.
