Hello folks, I just wanted to take the time to express my genuine and sincere appreciation for everyone who has read to the end here. We've done it. We've reached the end of this book together. I know Royal Road has a lot of stories written by fantastic upcoming authors, and it means a lot to me that you’ve read through and, hopefully, enjoyed this story. Writing like this is a dream of mine. It’s something I try to pursue with the utmost effort and attention to detail that I can manage to provide entertainment to you, the reader. I want to write stories that you enjoy, and add value to your life and entertainment. The support I’ve gotten for this project surpassed anything I previously had. When I started posting to this site about a year or two ago now, it is more than anything I would have ever hoped for. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for the kind words, enjoyment, and thoughtful insight and critique into my writing that has made me grow on this journey. While this story might be finished, for now, I do someday intend to come back and write more about Luca’s adventure in this world. There’s a lot I’ve had planned for a second book. Including some revelations and stuff I’ve seeded throughout this one, but when I do come back to write it, I want to be a stronger writer to do the story the justice it deserves. So, what comes next? For now, I've launched another story I'm very excited to share. This will be the main story I'll be working on until the book is finished. If you like my writing, there's a decent choice you'll enjoy this one too. It takes place in a post-apocalyptic world and tracks a disgraced noble's attempt to become one of humanity's finest-- A Knight. I'd appreciate anyone who wants to check it all since I love you wonderful folks! It's called...

Knights Apocalyptica

The Earth met its end, bathed in holy fire. The rifts spill monsters into our world. The Kingdom of Cindrus is the last bastion of humanity; the last vestiges of a broken people clinging to life deep underground.
But not all hope is lost. Erec, like all humans, has been blessed by the goddess. From a line of disgraced nobility, he seeks to reclaim his family’s honor and join the prestigious academy–the institution that trains the next generation of Knights. Formidable warriors that blend their Blessing and advanced Armor to reconquer the wasteland of a world from the horrors that spew forth from rifts.
If you want to follow me and see what else I’m up to, or if another project of mine piques your interest down the road, please follow my Writing Group’s discord (ps. There's a lot of talented and lovely authors that call it their home too): Discord Link I hope you have a fantastic day.

The Crossroads
Meet Pete, he suddenly finds himself in a black void for no reason whatsoever, but for some strange reason there is a screen asking him to start the tutorial. For what? He has no idea, but he doesn't really care at this point in his life.Follow along in his story as he travels to The Crossroads, a fantastical place that has every fictional being present, from goons and fodder in videogames, all the way to Frankenstein's monster in books, and then back to the Doc Brown from movies.Pete will have to overcome challenges on a constant basis if he wants to have a life he actually cares about.-------------------------------------I was inspired by things such as the original wreck it ralph movie (haven't seen the new one), Galactic Fist of Legend, and The City Of Terror. Not to mention all the different franchises and characters I am going to mention, I don't own a single one of these nor do I claim to by writing this, I just want people to have something to enjoy since I am drained on my other work.I hope you enjoy, and to say it right off the bat since this is something that upsets me, I don't mind if you're critical of the work, but jesus, don't be rude. I love criticism but I hate people that go and put a 1 star with no reason, but if you put 1 star and give me a good reason then I'll use it to grow as an author! Thanks everyone! Hope you enjoy the story!

Moonshot
Gregarious businessman Evin Tumble is fascinated by the sudden and inexplicable appearance of a low-orbiting moon. Specifically, he's interested in shooting it down with a giant cannon. The moon is only about eight miles overhead, but it's high enough and quick enough that nobody can reach it by balloon or airship. He hires our protagonists: taciturn Iseult Morrin, cheerful Sean Whelan, and nervous Íde Ceallaigh, to help him with his obsession. As our heroes are dispersed across the continent to perform tasks for Tumble, and the moon-hunt draws closer, they become increasingly suspicious of their benefactor's motives and true nature. Moonshot is a story centred around struggling with confidence, the difficulty of being an immigrant, and the duality of truth, all clad in the trappings of an urban fantasy. It is character-driven, from the heart, and based on tropes and ideas that are missing from a lot of contemporary fantasy (a push beyond the flawless-yet-somehow-still-needs-rescuing-by-an-oafish-man heroine trope, a touch of cosmic magic based on the shared geometries of Celtic and Arab art).

Anno Monstrum (Year of the Monsters)
I always wonder whether there’s an afterlife. Like what’s life after you died? Have you ever question it? Well, I don’t know about anyone else, but I’m rather interested in knowing that. More so since I died twice. Not gonna lie, I really did went through death two times, and looking where I’m at, I think a third one is coming along in the future. What can I say? With monsters running loose in the city and portal another dimension kept popping out like they're weeds, I don't think my survival rate would be high not unless I crank that hardworking bones of mine to work. Well, who knows, I might survive... and if you want to know, how about you follow me...
