In order to ensure that my upcoming first published book, 'The Birth of a Monster' is the best that it can be, I will soon be requiring 5 Beta-Readers to read and converse with me regarding the quality of the draft I have prepared.

These Beta-Readers will be provided a copy of the drafted novel, and be required to undertake the following responsibilities:

-Read through the Draft (recommended twice, but however many times for you to feel confident in knowing the text)

-Be able to provide constructive feedback on the novel's plot, setting and characters

-Attend a 2 hour online conference with Author and other Beta Readers to discuss the novel (Date TBD, but will be between the 25th and 30th of June AEST)

-Be able to provide any additional notes on the work not discussed in the conference

-Be a member of my Discord Server (This is where the meeting will take place! Server Invite Code: a7vf5P8)

Each Beta-Reader will be paid for their service.

Email must be sent and received BEFORE 12 pm on Saturday June 11th AEST (Australian Eastern Standard Time). Unless the required numbers have not been met, applications received after this time will not be accepted.

Depending on the number of applications, you will receive either an email requesting additional information to be answered prior to Monday 13th of June at 12pm AEST, or a confirmation email that you have been accepted as a Beta-Reader on or before Wednesday 15th of June at 12pm AEST. The confirmation email will provide a full description of your role and responsibilities, a selection of time preferences for the conference, a request for personal information (around payment) as well as the Text Draft.
