Chapter 26- War Orc’s Cry
Morpheus zoomed over the trees, trying to save his mana by gliding.

You have levelled up Archaic Wings Level (E) (5)
The young chimera now could fly straight for thirty minutes, and glide for well over two hours if he gained enough height.
He could finally see the giant mountain where Ela’s village was located. He hadn’t slept for two days since he flew through the night, his night vision managed to keep him in the right direction.
He reached the huge circular gap in the mountain and looked below. His wings retracted and he dropped down, making himself light so he could float down.
A female orc shouted to some others as they saw him floating down. A group rushed over aggressively but soon realised who it was. He prepared the grunts in his throat.
“Where is Ela? It is Urgent.”
“She is inside the house.” One of them replied.
Morpheus jumped over the gate, and flew over to her house.
“Morpheus, why are you back so soon.” Ela said behind him, getting water out of the well.
“Ela, Citite is in trouble. The Ditorians are going to take it.”
“Ok, but why have you come back.”
“I have spoken to Ervos, they have asked me to offer you citizenship and trade rights if you help in the battle against the Ditorians.”
She processed the information for a while.
“We are peaceful, we do not wish to battle anymore.”
“Ela, I know it is not my place, but you were forced to fight against good people back then. But these people are bad, worse than the Empire.”
She twirled her finger around a bucket of water.
“We will talk about it with our people.” She said.
Ela grunted to a few others to spread the message, and soon almost all the orcs were gathered around the well.
“Welcome all, I am sorry to disturb your day. Morpheus would like to explain an offer to us.”
‘Fuck that doesn’t sound good.’
“Morpheus, will you tell them why, it is not my place.”
“I’m sorry to disturb your day, I reached Citite a few days ago to find out an ancient group of people called the Ditorians have attacked Southcross and are now about to attack Citite.”
He took a breather.
“I have been asked to offer you trade rights and citizenship of Ervos if you fight with the Independant against the Ditorians.”
A round of conflicted grunts followed. He saw the same old orc speak up at the back.
“Most of us prefer peace. Many of us have done evil deeds.”
“I know what the Empire has done to you all, but this is not to do evil, it is to fight evil, to do good. The Ditorians have already killed in Ervos and Southcross. If they take Citite many more will die.”
The next person to speak shocked Morpheus, it was Tali.
“I will fight, you are strong, I will follow.”
Morpheus nodded to him.
An old orc in the back spoke up.
“I have done wrong in my life, I will fight for you.”
“I will fight!”
“For Apollo.”
Loud grunts flew around Morpheus in favour.
Ela raised her hand for silence.
“Those who wish to fight with Morpheus please step to his side.”
Roughly seventy orcs stood by him, including Nu.

“I want those who don’t want to fight that I hold nothing against you. I respect your wish for peace.” Morpheus said. He truly respected the war orcs.
Nu spoke up. “Brethren we fight for Morpheus, for the Independent, in return our lives will get better and we will be respected like a human. We fight for those who do not wish to.” Nu said. It was the most complicated sentence he had said, Nu was clearly improving.
A few more joined the group.
“We leave now, the journey to Valhalla has begun.” Nu said and loud grunts followed.
The group went and collected all their weapons and gear, they truly looked terrifying.
“Morpheus I need details, where and when.” Nu said.
Morpheus explained the situation, hopefully they should get there before the battle.
The group set off at a tremendous speed. They were heading directly south of the Bording Mountains, where the two armies should meet.
Nu related the message of the battle that was to come to the rest of the war orcs. He could see some of their eyes light up, others just showed no emotions. Morpheus could tell none of them feared war. They should arrive in a day and half if they kept up their pace.
He quickly sent a message to Brevair, but Brevair had sent one back already.
‘The fucking stupid king of Citite doesn’t believe Cavet. He said he will offer his daughter to the Alpha if they actually come. Hopefully he will.’
Morpheus smiled.
‘I hope his daughter likes black guys, I’m bringing seventy of them.’
A minute later he got a reply.
‘His poor daughter, remember Morpheus the gods are with you. Kill those Ditorian bastards.’
He smiled again and put the crystal back in his pouch, it was time for war.
—————————————————
“Your majesty, another message from King Cavet has been received.” An advisor said.
The king just rolled his eyes, he knew most of his men would die, but it would minimise the damage to Citite and it’s people.
“What is it?”
“Cavet has sworn by Odin that a chimera will bring a small group of war orcs.”
“Enough with his jokes, just tell him to take the city back when it falls.” He solemnly said.
“Your majesty I don’t mean to cause offence but he has sworn by Odin.”
“Fuck off with it, Odin does not care for us.”
The poor advisor looked mortified, the king just insulted a god.
One of the king's generals spoke up.
“Your majesty, the Ditorians have been spotted next to a mountain, close to the edge of the Bording.”
The king nodded. “Change course slightly, we will meet them head on. Let us hope they don’t have too many two hundreds.”
—————————————————
Morpheus and his group of war orc’s tore through the forest, slaughtering all in their path.
“Nu, the king has offered his daughter to you.”
“Did he tell you through that green crystal?” Nu replied.
Morpheus nodded.
Nu looked slightly worried.
“I do not mean offence but I am sworn to Ela, I am sure others will be happy if you offer them.”
“He doesn’t think that we will show up.” Morpheus said, smiling at Nu’s response.
“Then we show him the true strength of the war orcs. Battle is not pretty, but it sure is glorious.” The alpha war orc said.

‘Battle is not pretty, but it sure is glorious.’ He replayed the saying in his mind. It was very interesting, he would be sure to use it in the future.
A war orc suddenly appeared next to the two.
“Nu, forty thousand against thirty. Average level of a hundred. We can surprise enemies from the mountain.”
He nodded back. “Relay a message to the others, we will attack when the armies have just started fighting.”
“Why not join them before.” He asked.
“Morpheus, we are trained for war, suprise is a weapon among others. Sacrifices will be made.”
He didn’t like the sound of sacrificing but he trusted Nu.
—————————————————
“Your majesty, battalions are in place, we will advance forward on your order.” A general said.
“Begin.” He said with a wave of his hand. He sat just behind his army on a horse with golden armour.
“March! Bellona and Ares begin to curve.” His general shouted. The army moved forward together in sync.
The three battalions of ten thousand men each spread out forming a curve into the incoming army.
The drum of a charging army soon filled the air. It was forty thousand against an oddball army of soldiers and adventurers. The Ditorian have been known to be more ruthless than the Empire in their battles.
The Ditorians were dressed in black leather, with higher than average levels. Each wearing a mask to cover their faces.
“Shields up!”
Huge balls of a variety of magic came into the Citite army, the shields shook from the impact.
“Fire!”
Citite’s army launched waves of magic towards the Ditorians but they did not produce shields, only step over their dead.
The Ditorians collided into the shields of the defenders, the clashing of swords and screams of death could be heard.
A sound louder than the two armies combined could be heard coming from the mountain next to them.
Huge black figures could be seen emerging from the skint tree line.
“ROAARRRR!” The biggest of the figures shouted.
—————————————————
Morpheus’s heart pumped adrenaline around his body as his he ran down down the mountain side.
“ROAARRRR!” Nu screamed.
Buff Recieved-War Orc’s Cry, your blood has been activated by a War Orc’s Cry. +10 Strength.
The small army charged down the slopes, emerging from the thin tree line. Into the unguarded side of the Ditorian.
Nu disappeared from Morpheus’s view, but reappeared in the Ditorian army. Body parts flew around the alpha, coating him in blood.
A rage engulfed Morpheus, his mindset was changed. He want to outright kill every Ditorian for what they did at Ervos. They almost killed Reyna, Sophia and Brevair. They were terrorists.
Morpheus quickly met the army with his orc brethren, Archaic Wings spread from his back as he jumped into the air, bringing Pride of the War Orc above him, he slammed it down on a shield cutting it and the person hiding behind it also.
Soon the rest of the war orcs charged into the Ditorian. The war orcs tore them to pieces, tusks were dug into their necks and swords pierced their eyes.
—————————————————
The king could not believe his eyes, a group of high levels war orcs had just charged into the enemy.
“Quickly, Harold, they are broken in the centre. Curve the army more to give them support.”
His general blew into his horn three times, which was the signal to encase the Ditorians. The middle group labelled Tyr begin to cut through the center to join Morpheus and the orcs.
—————————————————
Morpheus swung his axe in circles cleaving people in two, people at level a hundred stood no chance form Arcane Strike as it tore through them.
Until it stopped by a woman's hand.
(Warrior, Kraken Slayer, Level ???)
She kicked Morpheus’s hand, causing him to drop his axe. He used Arcane Step to back away, while extending his nails and showing his teeth.
The lady didn’t hesitate and dashed at an incredible speed toward Morpheus, bringing her sword down and taking his arm off.
Blood gushed out and the young chimera fell backwards into a dead body.
She brought her sword up again to slice his neck.
He closed his eyes, but death did not come. He looked up to find the women headless and an orc hand holding her head.
“Tali!”
“Come brother, we must not hesitate.” The orc said while stretching out a hand.
Morpheus quickly regrew his arm, and ran over to grab his axe. He looked around but their was barely any enemies in his close proximity. The Ditorians numbers were lowering gradullay.
A sharp horn blew out over the battlefield, halting the fight. The Ditorians began dashing away, trying to get out of the circle the Citie army had formed around them.
A few thousand of them managed to break the circle the way they came from and they began to pile out.
The war orcs and the adventures formed an inner half circle, with Morpheus in the center, slaughtering them and pushing them back.
He could see the fear in their eyes yet he didn’t hesitate, he could be killed at any moment.
“Push then back.” He head someone shout.
Even those who dropped their weapons and held their hands up got a spear through their heart. Morpheus soon found out that the war was not pretty, it was a blood bath.
Eventually the numbers dwindled down and there was the only one man left in the circle.
(Brute, High Priest of Axon, Level ???)
He shouted out to the circle of soldiers around him.
“I will fight for Axon! You will all be judged unfairly!”
The soldiers hesitated to attack, for they have seen how many he had slain.
The king had may his way into the circle and he stood close to Morpheus.
“You dare kill innocents, coward!”
“We serve Axon, the god above all!” The high priest screamed.
He heard metal armour shuffling out of the way of someone. It was none other than Nu, even the King stepped aside in terror.
Nu looked towards Morpheus and the young chimera nodded.
The giant alpha war orc, walked up to the high priest, dwarfing him. He stood there looking into his eyes.
“You do not scare me, disgusting monster. Axon has seen my deeds and I will fight to the death in his honour.”
The high priest brought his mace down on Nu, it hit his shoulder and got stuck. He tried to pull it out but the war orc was too tall. Nu grabbed the priest by the neck, and bit into it, tearing out his esophagus. Everyone except the war orcs looked at him in terror.
He heard Nu mutter something.
“Weak.”
The battle was over and a few thousand Ditorians had retreated.

The Silver Mana - Book 1: Initiate
I used to be a healthy, young guy with a normal life - I had a career planned in professional soccer, a girlfriend, lots of hobbies, and loads of fun. Until the accident. Which changed my life. A few years later I had adjusted to my new reality, adjusted to being in a wheelchair, adjusted to having someone take care of me 24/7. And then the world changed. Old people and kids did not make it. And neither was I supposed to make it. But never count me out. If anything, I am tenacious. This new world was different. People could do magic. And there were monsters. And what about me? I had mana as well, silver mana. Which no one else seemed to have. The only problem was, I did not know what to do with it. Until I really needed to. Author's note: This is the rewrite of Silver Mana. The first bunch of chapters (until I will have caught up to level 2 of the dungeon) should be quite familiar to people that have read the original. There are some changes in content, but the story follows the original fairly closely for at least the first 150-200 pages. Most of the changes are in the writing, and some of the details of how things work. A few of the side characters get a bit more attention too. Some general comments to avoid disappointment: 1. The MC likes to swear. If you object to reading the word "fuck" at least once and usually multiple times each chapter don't read the book. "Fuck" is such a great, allencompassing word... fuck that; what the fuck?; fuck me! Fuck! one word, expressing so many nuances. And, frankly, the people I know that use fuck as a swear word.. they often use it a lot. 2. If you are looking for immediate progression, rapid advancement of the story, etc.... read another book. This one takes a bit. 3. I am NOT Pirateaba (who is writing The Wandering Inn) or anyone close to that level of productivity. If you expect to read 10k words every 3 days, or even just once a week... sorry. I've got a busy life. This is for fun, I have no patreon, paypal, anything, so I write when it is fun and however much is fun. Not more. And sometimes that turns out to be a decent amount, sometimes nothing. I have another book (Marrow) so that complicated things - basically I switch between the two whenever the muse strikes me.
