《When Plush comes to Shove》Chapter 46 -

-=Lizz POV=-
“Plush.” I call out.
“Yeah?”
“What are you even going to be making with all of this?” ‘Honestly, all of these ingredients are completely random.’
“Ehm… Actually I think that'll be a surprise, if you don't know what it is from the ingredients then you've probably never heard of it either way. But now I just need to figure out how to even go about this.”
“Well while you do that I'll go check out what Cy is doing, wanna come?”
“Gods no! I think I'll do just fine without seeing myself as half spider thank you very much!”
“Eh, your loss.”
I then fly into the living room, contemplating whether I should remind him that we can change our form in here, but then I remember that we can only change our form to ones that we've actually had before as real bodies, and i highly doubt Plush has ever been tall enough to use this places equipment.
When I get to the living room I turn on the big box, Shiona called it a TV when I explained it to her, and when I do I see Plush's body possessed by Cy.
The purple body had turned a dark shade of brown, like leather, and the red fur had become much shorter and changed color as well, it was now glossy black, however when the light shone on it the reflection was red.
There were much larger differences as well though, case in point being how Plush's feet, those which had previously had three claws on them, had now been split into three parts and looked like someone had grabbed the feet by the claws and ripped them apart, making Cy have six legs and two arms.
I can hear Cy asking one of the male elves, not sure who though, apparently she took out her talking machine.
Responds the elf in a gloating way while holding one of his hands on one of the magic doors.
At this I could hear a very fake sounding sigh coming from the voice machine, guess that's something she needs to work on.

Cy then started talking more in depth about each of the parts of both the doors, the carriage itself, and the mechanical horses and how to improve them.
*groan*
*klick*
All this techno babble was giving me a headache so I decided to turn off the TV.
“?”
*sniff sniff*
And when I did I could smell something tasty, I lost myself in the smell and before I knew it I found myself inside the kitchen, looking into a large white cube with a glass window, inside was a yellow bubbling… Something, I don't know what but it's yellow and is bubbling almost like boiling water.
“Excuse me.”
I hear a voice coming from behind me and I move out of the way without taking my eyes off of the food.
“Thank you.” Says the voice, after that two large arms covered in cloth stretch out and open the large white box, they then grab the metal plate which the food was on and take it out, putting it the top of the box.
I then hear the sound of someone opening one of the tableware drawers and soon two human hands reach out to the dish with an odd round rotating knife and starts cutting it into triangles.
I look away from the dish and see that there was indeed a human here, he had boring brown hair and a boring face, nothing special about him, he looked like he was troubled over something however soon snapped out of it, the human then used the circular knife to cut one of the triangle pieces into four smaller triangles and handed me one of them.
“Here you go.” He says while grabbing one of the larger pieces for himself.
I wasn't really sure about how I was supposed to eat this so I look at the man and simply use my hands like he does.
A few minutes later the entire dish was gone and I was sitting contented on one of the chairs while the human was making more by flattening a piece of dough.
“Wait, who the fuck are you!?”

The man just looks at me, a bit confused by what I said, his face carrying the feeling of ‘What do you mean?’ incarnate, however it then switches to a face of slight shock before he looks at himself and I swear his eyes go at least halfway outside of his head when he does.
The man still doesn't say anything, however with a puff of smoke the man disappears and in his place stands Plush.
“God fucking damnit!”
“What!?”
“Don't scare me like that! I though an outsider had gotten in!”
“How the hell would that even happen!?”
“I don't know and that's why I was scared!”
I start panting after all this shouting but manage to calm down from the small break.
“I'd ask what happened to you but more importantly; what is this food!?”
“I'm amazed by your sense of priority.”
“Like you're one to speak mister forget-I-have-an-illusion-ring!”
“Point taken-
“Speaking of, before you fainted last time I heard you say something about needing to practice with that trickster’s sleight skill, whatever happened to that?”
“... I forgot…”
I sigh and keep staring at Plush until he understands why.
“Oh, and the food is called pizza.”
“...And?”
“... And what?”
“ And how did you make something this tasty!? I've never seen anything like it before!”
“Well I didn't make it myself, I'm not sure if this is true but I hear it was originally a farmers food where they just threw together what leftovers they had and put it in the oven.”
“Oven?”
Plush points towards the large white box.
“Oh.”
“But man, you made me lose my momentum, i have no idea how I even did that…”
I felt like I should tell him so he can make food, but instead I snag what’s left of the pizza and hole myself up in my bedroom, after a while I can hear sounds coming from the kitchen so he must've figured it out on his own.
-=Cy POV=-
‘Honestly these elves, gloating about everything they’ve made without even knowing how shoddy it really is.’
-=Elves POV=-
‘This is amazing! All these new ideas! This will revolutionise magic craftsmanship!’
“We will make you proud teacher!!!” ×3
-=Shiona POV=-
*sigh*
Ever since Cy came out the carriage stopped and all three of the elves are staring at Plush/Cy with gleaming eyes, taking notes every time her machine says something and no one is willing to tear themselves away in order to drive the carriage.
*sigh*
‘I heard sighing is bad for you but I can't help it.’
-=Charlie POV=-
“Hold your ground!”
“Aye!” ×2
‘Of course it had to be this!’ I think as I jump to the side to avoid a translucent fist crashing down where I stood.
I look up at the golem in front of us in contempt as Baom releases arrows trying to hit the golem in its core while Diifan is trying to get its attention.
‘Of course the golem had to be made of fucking crystal! Why couldn't it have been made of, I dunno, rock!? Then we could have just opened it up with magic!’
*SLAM*
“Gah!”
“Here!”
I throw a few red jellies towards Diifan who was just sent flying by the golem's arm.
“Graahh!!!!”
‘Oh no. he snapped.’
I look towards Diifan, he hasn't even used the jellies I threw him, as he charges straight at the golem, jumps high in the air and slams straight down with the sharp end of his shield sword into the head of the golem, piercing it and destroying the core.
The golem falls apart, leaving all the crystal it was made out of in small chunks on the ground.

Four story anthology
[participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] [participant in #NaNoWriMo] Preface: This fiction will contain four different stories set up as a challenge for myself and to get better at writing. The challenge for royal road writathon is a 55.555 word goal while the nanowrimo challenge is 50.000 words. Reader suggestions is turned on, feel free to point out errors I missed and I'll fix them up! Chasing sun, napping softly: Cultivation/Xianxia genre. Some parts will poke at the ridiculousness of the Xianxia gerne. We follow the life of a magical fox monster, who doesn't like how the cultivation world works. Said beast seems to have more knowledge than is usual for normal magical beasts. In it's infinite wisdom it decided to search for the main character of the cultivation world to have a cozy and safe place beside him. Our fox will act as a "wise beast" to coast along on the main characters rise to greatness, all for peace, happiness and that amazing napping spot in the sun. The challenges for myself with this story: Writing in first person. Comedic effect between talking vaguely and sounding wise. The cost of heroism: A story more centered around fights and mental health of hired mercenaries/heroes. The world is infected with an eldritch corruption. Humans are trying their best to explore and clear out wilderness and the dungeons hiding in them to establish new cities. Lords seek for hired hands to do the professional work. Thanks to the setting, the story will show how awful pasts are the norm and how pragmatic people became thanks to that. People exchange their sanity for riches, fame and gods acceptance. Interpersonal relationships change drastically and quickly. The challenges for myself with this story: Writing grim scenes/imparting a feeling of how grim the world is. Writing fight scenes. Showing different mental states. Describing their influence on people during fights, walks or even after successful or failed campaigns. Who will be the next powerhouse? : A story about a gaming show, it's host Staan and the different participants. Stereotype characters, stereotype backstories, silly challenges and quizzes. The winner of those challenges gets powerups for their power system. Be it magic, ki, psychic power or anything else imaginable and unimaginable to reach the power of gods. The challenges for myself with this story: A softer tone for storytelling. Making the reader smile and enjoy themselves. A different try at slice of life story. I was left behind on earth as my family conquered another world and enjoys riches, but that's okey because I got a cheat too! : Stereotypical Isekai story parody twisted into an Urban Fantasy story. The challenges for myself with this story: Writing over the top and overdramatic scenarios/scenes Writing in first person. Walking into stereotypical scenarios and making them more dramatic/giving them a twist. Different type of humor.
