《Land of Ilragorn》Chapter 14- Dungeon

I blink and the void around me disappears to find two red eyes with thousands of red hexagons in them with no sensor for personal space.
I put my feet on the ground and jump back to be caught by a bunch of tiny black dots, they put me on my feet, around me is a cavern with only the light crystals to see.
Turns out the red eyes were Suvunkilbub, when will I get used to seeing her every time.
Wait first of all, where am I.
Oh wait, I activate mind acceleration.
“-oseeyouareawake,nowit’stimetostartyourtraining,itisverydangeroussobepreparedtodie.”
“Slower please, and where am I?”
“It is nice to see you are awake, now it is time to start your training, it is very dangerous so be prepared to die.”
“And where am I?”
“Dungeon Cyko.”
“Dungeon, as in labyrinth with multiple floors that has monsters that try to kill you every floor.”
“Yes.”
That is so freaking Cliche.
“But Cyko is a little bit different, usually dungeons have a theme, however, this dungeon theme is, well, I guess I shouldn’t spoil it.”
“How many monsters each floor?”
“In this dungeon, besides the boss floors, one floor is equal to one level up to you.”
“Why’s the boss different?”
“You’ll see.”
“So how many floors does this dungeon have?”
“Nobody knows.”
“What do you mean?”
“This dungeon isn’t based on floors, it’s based on time, you have one hour to complete the dungeon, once the time is up you magically come back to the top. “
“What happens if you are suddenly immune to magic?”
“It sends hundreds of monsters to kill you.”
“Glad I’m not that then.”
“Me too, otherwise my first chosen one would have died.”
“I’m your first.”
“You are the first non-suvunkta I have been able to talk to in centuries.”
“Oh.”
“Will I meet anybody in the dungeon?”
“No.”
“Why, if it’s one level per floor, then I would think hundreds of things would want to fight in it to get stronger?”
“I made the entrance of this place my nest, nothing has gone in here for hundreds of years except me.”
“Where are we in the forest anyway.”
“Remember the cave I had you move the rock too?”
“This is it?”
“Yes.”
“That quest was way to easy by the way? Why didn’t you move the rock yourself? I know you could have.”
“I was excited to find something to talk to. It was supposed to be hard for you, as you were about a week old and should have had stats of 3’s and 4’s, it was supposed to be a challenge of wits. If you didn’t have such high stats you would have to find a stick to put under the boulder and push it under it to find it was easier to move the rock using tools instead of raw strength, then I was going to teach you telekinesis to show you that magic is easier than tools, but you just used raw strength, so I gave you armor so you wouldn’t die charging into battle like all people that use raw strength do.”

Was she fuming?
“Anyway, where do I start?”
“Step on the altar.”
I looked around and found what she was talking about, it was the brightest place in the room, a flat rock surrounded by glowing crystals, I walked over and stood in the middle of it.
“No that’s my egg-laying spot.”
I jumped straight out of it and landed on the floor.
“Gross!”
“How did you know the password?”
Before I could respond I was beamed with light.
Then the floor disappeared for a second.
I end up dropping in the middle of what looks like the same cave, but the entire thing is illuminated with crystals, the room itself is a square only about 20 by 20 by 20 meters.
In front of me is a door a huge one that you will only see in fantasy.
Gold door with what looks like a silver frame.
Behind me is… A minotaur in an iron bar cage that’s falling slowly by a chain.
It is giving me more bloodlust than the filolial village chief when I told his grandchild no.
First things first I have to check if I can open the door.
Then I land on my stomach, iiit hurts.
Then the chill down my spine tells me that the minotaur has almost landed.
I get up and run to the door and use my beak to open the circular handles, it opens.
Into a room with two routes.
Should I go left or right?
I look back to see the minotaur cage land with a clink.
I use analyze on it.
"Target: LVL 40 Minotaur" "Titles: Dungeon Monster, The Beast"
A LVL 40 is a level for me, why couldn’t it be split into multiple monsters, that would be so much easier for me!
I decide that left is always the right answer and go left, I get to another cross-section and go left and left again, that was a dead-end and then I kept going along the left wall.
The walls of this place were still of the cave, with the occasional crystal to keep it bright.
I hit another wall and then I felt it’s bloodlust, it had caught up to me.
I turn around and see a bull on two legs, it simply is a bi-pedal bull with hands, wearing a gourd on its back and a loincloth in the spot it’s supposed to be.
It rushes me head first, two sharp horns on each side.
I jump over it, it hits its head on the wall behind me and I run, I think I’m not supposed to kill it yet, otherwise, why would there be a maze here. I keep running and it keeps finding me while I jump over it.
The fourth time it puts its hands up in the air so I can’t jump over, but I just wall jump higher than its arms can reach.

The seventh time it jumps, but I’m still too high.
The ninth time it wall jumps too, which is a sight to see, but I go under it.
Then I get there the eleventh it has me trapped, I get ready for it to charge, but it doesn’t move, it waits for me to move.
So I do, I wall jump till I’m at the ceiling and then am almost over it, but it grabs my leg and throws me back to the dead end.
That was weird, let's try something else.
I jump up to the ceiling and look like I’m doing the same thing to see if he does it again.
When I’m almost at the point where he grabbed my leg, I kick against the ceiling towards the ground and get headbutted by the bull, not a good feeling.
I hit the ground with an oomph, the bull smiling, in a victory pose, what’s he got to feel good about, I did this to him 10 times, I start glowing red again, just like when it did with dad.
The bull noticed, it widened its stance ready to intercept.
I rush forward and use pepper breath, it surprises him and he blocks it with his arms.
While he is blocking it I go above him and get out of there. I turn another left into another dead end, I’m still glowing red. He catches up to me. Now I’m mad, I activate Flamethrower and then pour MP into it, flames stronger than a fire hose fly outta my mouth and hit him. I pour more MP into it until I think the minotaur is dead.
When I let up he is severely burned and on his knees but isn’t dead.
He stands up takes the gourd off his back and drinks out of it, then smashes it against the wall.
The burns disappear, well looks like healing items are real here.
Well then plan b, I use shadow manipulation, and I get my target, but I get rage and triumph as the kickback, looks like the same rage from the evolution dungeon, and triumph from its own personal feelings.
I spread the message in his head that if he blocks he’s going to die, if he dodges he’s going to die, if he moves he is going to die.
He doesn’t move until I activate flamethrower and he jumps over it.
Of course, he’s a dungeon monster, he doesn’t even think of death.
He rushes over the fire, jumping from wall to wall, he does one last wall jump, then with his fist back in position to punch, he lunges towards me, and I dodge to the left, cutting his eye, he does a semi flip to put his feet against the wall that was behind me and all I see is his fist about to collide with my beak.
I get beamed with light into the original cave.
I see Suvunkilbub, “Seriously how did you know the password?”
“What? You mean Gross?”
I see another beam of light and the floor drops again.
What no, I’m not ready, I need time.
I get to the same room, 20 by 20 by 20.
Then I look back and see the minotaur, it has the scar from when I clawed it, and the gourd is back.
You know what, whatever, I’ll destroy this dungeon this time.
I start glowing red, I guess it activates anytime I act prideful.
He is grinning larger than any child I have seen before. And creepier too.
I land on my feet this time, and immediately run to the door and open it, making sure to go right.
I meet a hallway similar to that of a dead-end, but there is a door with a sign that has this world's language on it.
I use analyze to see what it says.
"Defeat the monster before entering, Duh, that's the basics of dungeons."
Are you serious, there was no special thing for beating the maze before defeating the monster, that’s just rude.
And there was no more maze after the first right, it was just the end, so left is always right is a lie, it was right is always right.
Anyway, the minotaur is now at the end of the tunnel, its cornered me.
I do the one thing that has been effective so far, flamethrower mp boosted.
This time though he slowly walks forward as he uses his arms as a shield, I put as much MP as I can make at one time into the blast, he gets pushed back in the impact, I see he’s ok and then use pepper breath with MP boosting, it is less meteor of death, but should still be in killing range.
I look at it to see it smiling at me, giving me a thumbs up.
What the heck does that mean, did it actually like me, was the rage a ruse, why is it making me feel bad for it.
The fireball hits and kills him, leaving me feeling depressed.
"You have beaten Minotaur LVL 40 Entity #900001283992193201" "You have leveled up to LVL 32" "You have gained access to Floor 2 on Cyko." "Would you like to activate Copy Entity Number LVL 3?"
