Slowly opening his eyes, Nevada sees the ceiling of his room. He slowly turns his head to his sides and sees no one there. As he watches around in confusion, he remembers everything what happened and jumps out of the bed, only to have his body give up on him. So he collapses onto the floor with a loud *thud*.

"Fuck."he mutters and rests against his bed.

Few seconds later, the door is opened and Alice walks.

"W-what???"Nevada asks in a confused voice, when he saw his mother enter the room. She was supposed to be dead.

"Nevada!"Alice shouts and immediately runs up to him and helps him to sit down on his bed. She grabs his face with her hands.

"I know what's going through your mind right now. I'm not some illusion or anything like that. I didn't die on that field and I wasn't even hurt. Raz made you see illusions. Me and Veronica are fine. Everyone is fine."Alice tells him while holding his head.

Nevada doesn't say anything to her and just grabs Alice and pulls her into a hug. He was glad that she was alive.

"Don't worry Foxy. I won't go anywhere."Alice says and pats him.

"So you are awake."says Maria who walks into the room, with a file in her hand. She walks over to the bed and puts the file on the bed. She grabs Nevada from Alice and gives him a kiss before taking the file in her hand and saying.

"I know you are tired, but this is something you should hear."she says and shows the file."This is the file on Raz. It took a lot of time, but I found it. I'll read it out to you. You listen too Alice.

"Name: Morgan "Raz" Zain."

"Did you just say Zain?"Nevada asks and looks at her."Z-A-I-N?"

"Yes. You know that family name?"Maria asks.

"Yes. Echo Zain."Nevada says.

"Gray hair and eye?"Maria asks immediately

"Yes."Nevada asks.

"Ooh shit."Maria mutters.

"Eeh. What? Who's Echo Zain?"Alice asks in a confused voice.

"The eighth demon lord, Despond."Alice answers.

"Not that shit again."Alice says"Last time was such a trouble."

"What happened last time?"Nevada asks.

"Veronica had to kill her master, as he had gone rogue because of a demon lord."Alice answers.

"I think the two aren't in contact? As much as I know, Echo wouldn't send out his son."Nevada says.

"And how do you know that?"Alice asks.

"Because he's a friend."Nevada answers.

"I wont even comment on it."Alice says and the looks at Maria"Continue."

"Right. He was born in year 10370. Race: blood half-elf."

"Never heard of that race."Alice comments.

"It seems that Anna has written that his parents were high-elf and a vampire. So mix of the two?"

"I guess."

"Okay. His rank: eleven or Red rank."Maria then starts to explain to Nevada, who she knows hasn't heard about it"Red rank is a special rank, that you can't earn by just doing jobs. You must inherit the mask from the previous owner. With the mask, comes the rank. As for the mask itself, it's as old as this clan. Nowadays no one really talks about it and there hasn't been a new one, because the current one hasn't given it up."

"What does Red rank even do?"Nevada asks.

"No one knows besides The Master. And Anna is currently missing. No one knows where she went."Alice answers to his question.

"Could I finish this file and then we can discuss."

"Sure." "Okay."

"Specialization: illusions and information gathering.

Abilities: illusions, blood magic.

Bio: I found him in a small village of Hura. The residence of the village were all slaughtered except for him. I found him in the middle of the village, sitting there, hugging a sword. He was covered in blood, but on closer inspection had no wounds. He was the one who killed everyone. Knowing I couldn't let him stay there, I brought him here, the Ice Fort.

"And here's how to defeat him.....this is a joke."Maria says.

"Whats written there?"

"DON'T ENGAGE. RUN!"

"Is he really that dangerous? That Anna would suggest to run."

"Yes. He could even paralyze me, someone who's body is affected by the void. His blood magic is really dangerous."Maria adds.

"So what can we do?"Nevada asks.

"Nothing. Right now, we can hope that Anna can talk sense to him."Maria answers.

"How do you know that Anna is going after him?"Nevada asks.

"Because before R- Morgan left, he said that she would know where to find him. So obviously she would go after him. They were lovers for 30 years."

"What?! I never heard about it."Alice shouts.

"They kept it a secret from everyone. I just happen to notice the chemistry between them."Maria answers.

"And you didn't tell me?"

"Not my business to tell you. It was your sisters job to do."Maria answers her friend.

"So what now?"Nevada asks them.

"Well we can't hunt him down, so we can only continue living our daily lives."Maria answers.

"I can't just let him be after what he did."Nevada tells Maria, while grabbing his bed sheets.

"And If you find him, what will you do? He can make you immobile and kill you. I don't want that. Alice doesn't want that. None of us wants you to die. So don't go out there and get yourself killed."Maria tells him"Trust me when I say: I want to take him down. But we simply can't."

"Okay."Nevada gives a weak reply and just drops his back on the bed.

"I'll go now. I have things to do."Alice says while watching the two. Before she leaves the room, she tells Maria.

"Enjoy yourselves."
