《They said I could become anything so I became a _____!!!》Chapter 69: Spooky, Not So Scary, Skeletons

"Creator of heroes? What's that's supposed to mean?" I ask, still confused. That explanation was kinda flat... like my chest. Dammit! Now is not the time for boob jokes!
"It means that you, my Songbird, are the one that will set the heroes on the right path" Orethon says, as if it was obvious. When he sees my confused stare he continues. "Right now Chreshna and Ylwa uses their heroes to fight each other. If one of them defeats the other then the balance of this world will collapse".
"And that is... bad?"
"Yes my Songbird, it is bad" Orethon says with a serious voice. "If the balance is destroyed then no one will ever go safe again. The skies will fall, the ground split and the water will turn into fire".
"Oh, that sounds real bad". Water turning into fire? I won't be able to take a bath ever again. Sure, people would die but come on... baths. "But how do I turn the heroes on the so called "right path"?"
"I am afraid it's by becoming their target, my Songbird".
"... What?"
"Right now the goddesses focus lies on each other but if you were to enter the stage and pose a threat to them then they would direct their attention towards you" Orethon explains. But before I get the chance to respond Rowan suddenly takes a huge step forward, stepping in between me and Orethon.
"From what you said it sounds as if you will put mistress in danger. I won't allow that" Rowans says threatening.
Please Rowan, don't threat the incredibly strong Lich king that also seems to be kinda bipolar. To my surprise Orethon doesn't become angry. Rather, he is actually hanging his head low.
"I am sorry but I am afraid that it's already to late" he says. Wait, what? "You have the ability to turn into another form, yes?". I nod at this. "Whenever you turn into this form you release a tremendous aura, similar to lord Hariams. I felt it and that means that THEY also felt it. And that means..."
"That they are coming for me..." I finish. Orethon nods slowly. "Well... damn" I say, kicking away a rock that lies on the ground.
"Are you ok mistress?" Rowan asks. He's obviously worried for me.
"Ah, yeah, it's just... I don't feel so well" I say before getting dizzy, causing me to stagger backwards. Rowan catches me before I can fall.
"Mistress!" Rowan exclaims. "What's wrong!?"
"There are two goddesses... are after me. They probably want to kill me and here I am with the same amount of health as a mosquito. That's what's wrong. But otherwise I am completely fine, thank you for asking!"
"Don't worry mistress! I swear that I shall protect you, no matter who I have to face!". Aww, thank you Rowan but I'm afraid you won't be much help when they come after me the way you are now.

I stare into the horizon. The landscape before me looks dead but at the same time it gives of a subtle beauty. The sun is hanging high on the sky and there's not a single cloud in sight. I can see a sandstorm in the far distance.
I have never seen a place like this before, with such a haunting beauty that leaves you breathless.
"My Songbird" Orethon suddenly says, "while I cannot change the past I can aide you now. So please, help us. Help us save this world by becoming the enemy of it". He goes down on his knee, bows his head and offers me his hands.
... What am I supposed to do? There are still so many things I don't understand but from the information I have been given it seems like I have no other choice. If I leave then I will surely die but if I stay then I will become the villain. Everyone will hate me and see me as the devil.
But this is the world I have been reborn in. It's the one I live in now and it's my new home. If those goddesses succeed then it will get destroyed. I must protect it.
I sigh.
"As you wish. I will stay and I will do my best to save this world. Please take care of me!" I say and grab Orethons hand, smiling in the process.
"My Songbird..." Orethon says looking up into my eyes. "Thank you, thank you so much!". His grip around my hand tightens. "I swear on the name lord Hariam gave me that I will serve and follow you forever and beyond that!"
So this is it huh? This is what I was meant to do. So I will do my best. I will become the most feared villain this world has ever seen and I will survive this.
--------------------------------------------------
*Five Minutes Later*
Why is he still holding my hand? He hasn't said anything either. At first I thought he was just really grateful, now I'm afraid that he have fallen asleep. He doesn't have any eyes so I can't rally tell.
... This is getting kinda awkward. I glance towards Rowan. Realizing how bothered I am he once again takes a step forward.
"Ore- uhum, I mean Lord Orethon, I believe mistress is still tired. Perhaps a meal and a bath would make it all better?"
"Ah, that's right!" Orethon exclaims and releases his grip on my hand. "Such inhospitality I have shown! I will have a meal prepared immediately, meanwhile, please feel free to take a bath, if that's what you wish to do of course".
"Yes, a bath would be nice, thank you" I say and gives him a light bow. Orethon snaps his fingers and suddenly two maids appear beside him. Oh, it's them...
"Please take my lady to the bath and prepare other clothes for her" Orethon says.

"Yes my lord!" Charlotte and Miriam respond at the same time. They are... different from before. The warm and bubbly atmosphere from before is gone and is now replaced with a formal one. They turn towards me.
"My lady, please follow me" Charlotte says, motioning me towards the castle gate. I follow them into the castle.
Compared to before the castle seems full of people now. Apparently they all left their stations when I disappeared from my room. It seems they were all searching. It was just pure luck that I didn't run into any of them.
After a while we arrive at the bathroom. As we are about to enter the maids suddenly stop.
"You can't go in here!" Charlotte exclaims and points at Rowan. Oh yeah, Rowan's a guy after all. Never thought about that.
"B-but I can't just leave mistress like that!" Rowan protests. "Also, despite mistress beauty, I am unable to feel any sexual attraction to anyone".
"Still, you are a man and a man following a lady into the bath is inappropriate!" Miriam says, putting her hand on Rowans chest, pushing him away.
"Mistress..." Rowan whimpers and looks at me but I simply shake my head.
"Sorry Rowan but you have to wait out here. And don't worry, I'll be done soon". Rowan doesn't answer but it's apparent that he accepts my words. I enter the bathroom and the maids close the door behind me. I can't help but feel like an owner leaving her dog at home while she goes to work.
... This is the bathroom? No, it's more like a hot spring, right? Wait, calling it a swimming pool would be more appropriate. It's freaking huge. And what's with all this steam? I can barely see two meters in front of me.
Suddenly something takes a hold of me.
"Ch-charlotte? Miriam? W-what are you doing?" I ask, blushing as they grab my clothes.
"Isn't it obvious? We are helping young lady undress" they say as they continue stripping of my clothes.
"Th-that's not necessary! I-I can do it myself!" I exclaim, desperately trying to cover my body. In response they simply smile. It sends chills down my spine.
"Oh, don't worry my lady. We are all women after all"... Is this their revenge for me tricking them earlier?
I try to resist but to no avail. In the end I end up stripped naked and with a little less innocence. The maids exit the room saying that they will come back when I call for them.
I enter the water. Ah, it's really hot! But I can take it. I slowly slip into the bath.
((Hey boss)) Morgana suddenly says, ((mind if I join you?))
"Ah, feel free to enter" I say. The moment I do Morgana suddenly appears and falls into the water, creating small waves. "You can join too Zar". Yeah, he is a boy but he is also a kid. No harm done.
((Thank you mama!)) Zar exclaims and enters the water seconds later.
"Thisss. Issss. Heaven" Morgana comments as she swims to my side. I can feel her happiness. Zar splashes towards me. It looks quite funny the way he moves in water.
"Mama, mama! This is so much fun!"
"I'm glad but for now, let's just relax. Let's take this opportunity and just enjoy it". I sink lower into the water. I can feel the stress washing away. Ah, I feel kinda bad for Rowan...
--------------------------------------------------
After I am done I summon Morgana and Zar back into the Storage and call for the maids. They arrive nearly instantly. With them they bring a crimson dress. They help dry me off before helping me with the dress.
When that's done we exit the room, only for me to find Rowan standing with his face against the wall.
"Uhm Rowan, what are you doing?" I ask.
"Oh, mistress!" he exclaims and turns around. "I was just... examining this wall! It seemed kinda... frail".
"Ok... and what about it?"
"What about what?"
"The wall".
"Oh, it's, uhm, very supportive! It seems I was just imagining things! Ahaha-ha..." he says, making a sorry excuse of a laugh. Aw, honey. If that didn't sound so hilarious I would feel bad for you.
"Well, if you're done with inspecting walls, how about you accompany me to the diner?"
"That's an excellent suggestion mistress! I'll be right by your side!". Ah, now he's happy again. He's so easy to read.
The maids leads us to a large door. In front of the door stands a couple of guards. They are wearing silver armor covering their whole bodies except for their heads... that they for some reason don't have. Are they dullahans? Awesome. They bow when they see us.
"Lord Orethor is waiting for you inside, my lady. Dinner will be served soon".
"Ah, thank you" I respond and gives them a light bow in return. I enter the room. Really, this castle... How can it have so many large rooms? I mean, this dining hall can house at least 800 people PLUS tables and chairs with ease.
The walls are all full with various artworks and candles. In the ceiling hangs a HUGE chandelier. I wonder how many candles there are in it.
In the middle of the room stand a long table with just two chairs present. On one of them sits a skeleton... wearing a tuxedo? What the hell is going on?
