3rdPOV
The sun was shimmering high up in the air. As a group of students assembled on the front gates of the city.
"Alright, so I presume this is your group?" asked a certain teacher, who goes by the name of Mr David.
"Yes" Benedict replied.
It was early in the morning, around 7am, where school starts, that the group found themselves stationed at the front gate, waiting in line for departure.
"By the way Mr Benedict." The teacher called out to him as he looked behind.
"This is not a family vacation trip" he sighed.
Dominic was in flip flops, accompanied by a T-shirt and sports pants. His reason went something along the lines of : "Theres no reason to dress nicely if you're gonna get dirty anyways".
Most students in addition, do not even aspire to become great adventurers or anything. Instead, they prefered to dedicate their life to research or work. To become an ordinary blue-collared worker was a life time dream for some students.
Pretty ironic for one living in a world full of dungeons and dangers.
"Whoese that plain looking person in Benedict's group?" Katie asked.
"Apparently that's his younger brother" Matthew, a person from her group replied. Matthew was the kind of character that would be socially acceptable, and he loves to tag alongside Benedict. Sort of like a beta type.
"No way!" Katie replied.
Dominic's appearence stood out among the flamboyant appearence of the others. Being of a much lower calliber in comparison.
"That's Benedict's brother?" the surroundings muttered.
"I wanna hit them" Dominic thought.
He kicked a nearby rock, and it cut one of their faces. Naturally, no one knew or even suspected that it was him.
Instead, they thought of it as a misfired spell and healed it off.

Dominic wanted to teach them not to be rude. And yet again, when they spoke ill of someone, he fired off another rock.
"Alright! Whoever that is, own up!" a female student screamed out in anger.
Naturally, Dominic was never going to do that. It was too much fun.
In the end, the group grew quiet. As it awaited its turn for the front gate.
"Alright! Students from Kacademy, you may pass" the guard shouted.
With David in the lead, the students followed behind in a disorganised mess.
"Mr David!" Benedict called out.
"So where are we going first?" he asked.
"Kill some goblins, then go relax at some vacation city." was his reply. There were some disgrunted expressions among the group. 25 people, and around 12 of them were students of the school.
The teachers had placed all thoese with higher combat abilities together. And naturally, Mr David wasn't going to let them just kill simple goblins.
"Alright, since you guys aren't happy with it, how about we explore some dungeons?" he asked.
"Are there any near here?" Someone asked.
"That's why I said explore"he replied.
"For 3 months, you guys are going to spend your time in the wilderness!" Mr david declared.
Naturally, there were complains, but everyone complied in the end.
The group passed the deciving forest via an alternate route underground. Apparently, this was dug by the founders when they wanted to build a city safe from monsters.
The group ended up in a plain field. With smooth little slopes, and green slimes bouncing everywhere, here and there. The wind was perfect, and only mere hours had passed in the underground tunnel. That was kept cool by someone using wind magic.
Despite that, some students still managed to get tired.

"Let's rest here for abit" Mr David sighed. He was lamenting over how weak the current generation was.
Mitsuha, had floated the entire way, hence allowing her not to break even a sweat.
"Oh. This place" Dominic commented.
"How nostlagsic" Benedict finished.
The tiny little slimes bounced around, feeding off the sunlight as they photosynthesis. A gentle breeze blows through the field, as Dominic and Benedict brought Mitsuha along, asking the two bunny girls to stay with the group, as well as catching the attention of most of the people there.
It was a story that dated back to around 6 years ago.
Having been traveling through long distances and not managing to find a town, the siblings found themselves here, at a peaceful grass field after their long journey from their devastated home town.
Here, the siblings made a small hole to live under a little hill.
Near the small stream far from the forest. They lived peacefully there for a year or two.
The two brothers brought along their sister, and headed towards the place where they used to stay. Near the stream, rather far from the distance, and burried in a certain little hill.
A small wooden door, beaten and tattered, yet retaining it's shape stood covering a small hole by the hill.
On the door , cute little words saying "our home!"was carved in by mitsuha who was learning how to write then.
Thus, the siblings squeezed in through the door and entered their old house, while crouching down a bit.
"Hey look! Its our old sleeping area"Benedict commented.
Three handmade mattresses, made out of the wool of the mountain ships, and the skin of cows, were pushed against a wall.
Dust covering most of the things, Benedict used telekinesis to move them out of the room.
A small little table made out of stone was in the center of the room , with three wooden stools or more accurately, cubes surrounding it.
The table held many memories for the siblings, showing where they ate, drank, studied and taught.
A warm feeling spreads through the siblings as they recalled the memories of their childhood.
In which Mitsuha still fulshes red, as her high intellect helps her retain most of her memories during her childhood. The times when she wet the bed, the times when she cried as she fell.
Moving along, the brothers went outside towards the top of the small hill.
Over there, lied a few rocks piled up to form a makeshift barbeque pit.
That was where their food was made. Their feasts were held.
A large smile spreads through both of their faces as they recalled the memories of the past.
Feelings of wanting to return to that time welled up inside of them. They stood there. smiling. As they let the warm feeling sustain itself, before it slowly dissipates.
"Let's return shall we?" Benedict asked.
And the three of them returned back to the place where they were before.
For Dominic, the top of the hill also held many memmories for him. Of bandits. Monsters and etc. there were exciting momments where he was almost caught by his siblings.
Why does he even bother hiding his strength?
The main reason was for that it was fun. The next was that he didn't want to be relied on. He wanted his siblings to be able to fend for themselves instead. For he knew he couldn't be with them forever. So until then, he would want to have his own joy.

Of Men and Dragons, Book 2
Jack, S'haar, and all their family are back. After crashing his ship on an underdeveloped world, Jack found friends and family among the terrifying cat-lizard natives of the world, but now mere survival is no longer enough. They must carve out a new home for themselves in the landscape of the now rapidly changing world. Raiders, politics, and even nature threaten their happiness and their lives while they struggle to deal with the nightmares and traumas of yesterday. They'll need to depend on each other more than ever if they hope for their new home to have any kind of future. In case you missed it, here's book one. ATTENTION: This is soft sci-fi rather than hard sci-fi, hence why I chose that tag. For those of you unfamiliar with the distinction, here's what Wikipedia had to say. 1. It explores the "soft" sciences, and especially the social sciences (for example, anthropology, sociology, or psychology), rather than engineering or the "hard" sciences (for example, physics, astronomy, or chemistry). 2. It is not scientifically accurate or plausible; the opposite of hard science fiction. Soft science fiction of either type is often more concerned with character and speculative societies, rather than speculative science or engineering. The term first appeared in the late 1970s and is attributed to Australian literary scholar Peter Nicholls.

Ebony Chitin - Eclipse
Richard Adams is something of a talented alchemist. One of the few magical professions that have anything to do with some kind of science. Everything was going swimmingly, until the 'cold night' incident happened. With it being determined as his fault, that such a thing happened. He was promptly exiled until he could return to Eclipse with a new 'discovery' for his field. What he didn't expect; was that he'd run into a strange humanoid monster that could seemingly heal any life threatening wound in a matter of seconds. Certainly this would be what he needs to become a master alchemist. The first step on a multi series journey. Please excuse the earliest chapters and their poor grammer. Ebony Chitin follows Richard Adams, and Mimi on their Journey to understand each other and the world around them. Due the the exploratory nature of such a claim, it will cover many different topics. This was my first attempt at actually writing a story, and because of that I will not edit it. I'd suggest reading the second part as it comes out as most of the things within this book will be recapped. Though if it becomes popular I hope it might inspire some of you readers to write your own stories. Cover Art by Rose Dragon
