The sky.
A pure blue piece of everlasting wonder that creates the query. Where and how did it come from. Instead of giving some scientific or religious wannabe bullshit, its there because its there. That isn't the focus anyways, as Matthew and Dominic saw the sky for the first time in about 3 months.
"Ohhhhhh" Matthew breathed a sigh of relief.
The dungeon erupted in a shower of golden light. As as symbol with a circle and a star drawn in its middle flashed up upon the sky.
The two youths were in a rather bad state, reeking of blood, sweat and probably some other nasty stuff.
Seeing as the river was right there, the two immediately stripped off their clothes and jumped right in. Immediately, the water was dyed in a color of brown.
"!"
The board of directors were alerted.
"No.. no way!" one of them shouted.
"They actually cleared it?!" another one was suprised.
"Relax, we should just be happy that our war potential grew stronger.... and... our scouts have reported of another one that popped out near Devil's peak."a female voice retorted this time.
"Oh..." this had calmed down the mood.
"What are you all waiting for?! Send someone over to pick them up!" the leader director commanded.
Benedict and Mitsuha were in the middle of training their Ki.
What is Ki? It was an alternate energy source that makes use of the energy within and flowing around them. It allows them to bend it to their will depending on their proficiency, and a master was said to be able to even turn back a tsunami.
According to Mr David, the first thing he wanted them to master was Qing Gong. A chinese martial arts that enables one to sort of glide through the air of sorts. Basically making yourself light with the Qi.However, it could also be used to jump in air.

The advantages were extremely high. It'd enable Mitsuha to float around and fire off her skill without using any to keep herself afloat.
It also enabled them to move with a higher agility.
Currently, Benedict was made to stand on a bamboo pole and mantain his balance with only a single leg. The bamboo pole was thin. So thin that it would have been crushed and broken under his weight.
Mitsuha was seated upon a single small and tall branch.
Her advancement was so quick, that Mr David had deemed her as a genius. Of course, this was due to her unique ability of "Tremendous growth".
Their eyes were closed and deep in concentration, as they try to hold as much as energy from the surroundings within them. In a sense, training their Ki.
Then, the sky flashed in a golden light, as their concentration broke along with the supports below them.
"Its from the direction of the dungeon!" Mr David announced.
"Could it be?!" the two of them hurried over as fast as they could.
"Holy shit that felt great" Matthew stretched, as he put back on a loose T-shirt.
"I think I took a dump in there" Dominic said something rather shocking.
"Ew dude what the hell?" Matthew shouted, as he recalled the two of them being of a rather close proximity.
"kidding. I already did it in the dungeon" Dominic said.
"When?" Matthew was rather suspicious.
"Could he have done it near me when I slept?!" Matthew's insides screamed.
"You guys are gross" his right hand spoke out.
Then, Dominic noticed a person, dressed in black, a few kilometers away at the entrance of where his old house used to be.
"Hey, after this, probably someone from the academy city would come pick you up. Tell my siblings I died or something and I'll be back for dinner." Dominic told him, before dissapearing. Which was actually moving faster than Matthew's eyes could see.

"Full of mysteries" was what Matthew dubbed the new person he befriended.
But, he'll keep Dominic's strength and skills a secret. After all, being unexpectedly good at something did bring a sort of glorious feeling. And since he looks so... normal... That unexpectedness would increase.
"Heh" Matthew laughed.
He remembered Benedict talking about his brother being the weakest since he wasn't blessed with anything good once. However, Matthew could now safely refute that statement to the very core. Skill alone, Matthew deemed him to be one of the top of the gunslinger class.
He couldn't wait to see the suprised look on their faces when he reveals his true strength.
Little did he know, he too would have the same face as well.
Dominic POV
An auraless being stood within my house, he ripped out the phantasm metal fom a mattress I kept under its sheets.
Auraless...
Its either a phantasm lord or... someone from the void.
50/50 give or take.
"So, what brings a phantasm lord here to ransack my home" I asked a rethorical question.
