"What...what is this?!" a certain king from a nearby kingdom screamed.
The army he gathered was filled with expert and vertan soldiers numbering up to a thousand or so calvary. It was overkill for a simple village, however, he wanted to send a clear message towards the surrounding countries to warn them of the fate that thoese who appose him would have to meet.
However, ahead of him a single ordinary young man sat down blocking their path.
"For thoese who have a family, children or a loved one here, if you wish to die, take a step forward." the ordinary looking youth stated.
"Ridiculous" the king rebutted.
"Forward!" he commanded.
The front line took a single step, and the next thing the others saw, was that the riders at the front had lost their heads.
"I'll not repeat it" Dominic declared.
"I...I didn't even see him move.." the assasins trembled.
"There was no trace of mana being used" the mages confirmed.
"He must be using some sort of ability! Mages seal him!" the king, being rather smart, made the mages seal him.
A bunch of chains flew at him. Boxes upon boxes of magic layered themselves around him. Giant poles drop down from the skies, forming a circle around him and some sort of barrier was layered between each pole.
Seeing him as a major threat, the mages have used their best seals.
"Alright, forward!" the king commanded. The soldiers reluctantly pushed and shoved. Before finally having the courage to take a step forward.
And then, the next line of soldiers had their heads rolling on the floor.
The seals were instantly broken.
"Wha..." even the king with his arrogance became speechless.
"Range, fire at once!" the king ordered. Bullets and magically enchanted arrows flew.

However, they were also cut down the momment it crossed the line.
"Its some unique ability!" the king declared.
"Come on now, if you dont want to back away, I'll have to take a step forward you know?" Dominic threatened, as he took a step forward lightly.
The soldiers instantly jumped back at once, causing them to accidently collide and fall over.
"There's no way a unique ability is this strong without a repercution. We just have to wait it out." the king tried to appear as though he was still under control of the situation.
Then, Dominic took a step forward.
The soldiers backed.
And again and again he stepped forward.
Somewhere along the line, it reached the point where it was something like a run, and the soldiers could only run away.
Then, Dominic stopped.
"Actually you know what? this is kind of boring, so I'll have all of you die here, well you can be assured, in 5 minutes, thoese who are still in a 1.5 km radius of this place will die." he declared.
"300..." he started to countdown.
"Don't be ridiculous! Forward!" the king ordered, as the vertans were mercilessly cut down.
"250"
"Alright, kill him off with spells!"
The spells appeared harmless.
"Fire the forbidden spell!"
Nothing happened.
"200"
"150"
"Alright then, retreat!" the king ordered. However, the mages were left on the ground, exhausted.
"Carry the mages and run!" he declared.
"100"
"RUN!"
"Oh I don't know how to count." Dominic said.
With that, he jumped up and hit the air with his fist downwards, and a crater exceeding 10km in radius was formed.
"Monster!" that was the last cry from the king, before he was sent to the afterworld.

Morning came, as the villagers woke up with hangovers.
"I drank too much" Kitzuma vomited at a corner.
"It feels so bad" the archpriest wobbled around.
"Alright! Let them come!" the magicswordsman was apparently the only one who remembered that.
"Who?" asked his drunk party members.
"Lets go, we still have to get to the city next to Galiol remember?" Dominic told them to get a move on.
"But what about the invasion?!" the magicswordsman asked.
"Theres no one around, you must be drunk" the fire mage (lol) told him she was standing while shaking to and fro from left to right.
"Yeah~" the villagers and the messenger agreed with their faces still flushed in red.
"Wait, am I the only one whoese wierd here?!" the magicswordsman exclaimed, as the group carried on their journey in the carriage.
Suprisingly, the guild member was able to hold his liquor well, hence he was in charge of driving today.
"By the way, where did you go?" the guild member asked Dominic.
"I needed to take care of my nature's calling (aka. excrete)" Dominic told him.
"Well, it must be pretty big to take 10 minutes" the guild member chuckled.
"Tell me about it" Dominic replied in a comedic fashion.
As the group traveled long enough for the others to get over from their hangovers, they passed by a giant crater that appeared as though a meterorite had fallen. Lying nearby, was the flag of a certain kingdom that shall never be named.
"What's this? Some sort of tourist attraction?" Perlin looked intrested.
"Judging from the flag nearby, it seems that That kingdom has laid claim over it." Kitzuma half heartedly replied her.
"Can we stop and take a look?" she asked Dominic.
"If you have a tourist attraction, naturally someone would have to pay for it right?" Dominic replied, with a tone that stated that he was not going to pay for it.
"Stingy," she pouted as though that was going to help.
"Helppp~" they heard a cry from a soldier in blue armor nearby.
His legs were missing, and he was bleeding all over.
As he noticed Dominic on board the carriage, all he could mutter, was "Monster..." before he left the mortal realm.
"Isn't that the army that declared war on the village?! I was right! " the magic swordsman appeared to be wierdly happy.
"He said Monster..."
"There must've been some really strong beast nearby to wipe out their army.." Kitzuma deduced.
"Imagine if that..." as Perlin was about to jinx, she was swarmed and brought down by the crusader and two mages.

Forgotten Dungeon
Death comes quickly and without warning. Even for such little personage as him. It's quite hard to start as a dungeon core. Quite harder when divine bureaucracy simply dumps you in the a** end of nowhere because of their incompetence and because of your agent status as a Fallen Angel. Yet Uno (temporary name) is used to working with subpar materials and making the best of circumstances. It doesn't help that his personality was cut down to size, but he tries to overcome the system with ingenuity and a healthy dose of duct tape. Or the local equivalent of such. *** An audiobook of the Forgotten Dungeon story has been made by Agro Squerrils and is available on YouTube, under this link: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLcfzFNUhrNS3Z7DfjN5pMWn-CI1uKg3s2 He has my permission and full support for doing so, so don't be shy and check it out! *** Hello people! It's a story about a dungeon. Or maybe the dungeon? Who knows. Dumped in a hostile world, working hard to overcome circumstances. There is an RPG system in place, but I'll try to make it not number-heavy. I would be more focused on skills - at least from the perspective of the sentient races. Dungeons will have their own little playground. I'll try to make MC not overpowered - it always irks me how the stories tend to go from zero to hero in a few minutes. I hope y'all will enjoy the ride! *** Also, a Discord server has been made recently: https://discord.gg/sK2pam3 Join and share your opinions, if interested! :)

The Joy of Evolution
"Alright, so I have this idea, a completely original one by the way, never done before." I say. "Alright, lets hear it." You reply happily. "What if you got trapped in the body of a tentacle monster that looks like a virus in a world that is like a videogame, with skills and... whoops slip of the tendril there, what I meant to say is Mutations and Levels as you evolve your way up from being that lowly creature into a slightly better lowly creature, all the while, an evil devil person watches over you for entertainment purposes." I say making weird hand gestures across the table. "Oh and that main character used to be a human male and uses its past experience as one to survive in this new world as a little mass of flesh." I pull out a little ball with suction cup tendrils and show you. "So, what do you think?" " I dont know seems, a little sameish, I think Im gonna go." You say as you start to get up from your worn but still plush velvet chair. "Wait" I sigh, " I didnt want to do this but you leave me no choice, I promise you an extremely diverse harem..." The door closes as you leave. "They'll come back." I say hopeful. Cover: https://phil.cdc.gov/Details.aspx?pid=21073
