Dominic's POV
The sun shone down upon me, like the ruthless foul being it was. That is to say, it was in the afternoon, and I was out searching for my lunch.
Come to think of it, school was reopening soon. I was simply unsure of when.
My siblings somehow managed to avoid contact with me over this holiday, making me unsure if weather they were doing so on purpose.
"Dominic?" I heard someone call out to me.
Looking towards the direction of the voice, I saw a curious Titania with a grocery bag in her hand.
"Yes?" I asked her.
She must have called me for some reason or another.
"Oh, I just wanted to say hi" she stated.
Or that could be a valid reason as well.
"Where's Michelle?" I asked her. Noticing the absence of her duo partner.
"Work" she replied.
Come to think of it, it seemed rather strange that Michelle could survive day to day with her usual spendings at a casino. So the reason was that she works huh?
"You want to join me for lunch?" I asked her. It was pretty lonely to have lunch alone after all.
"Pass" Titania replied in a slip short manner. Perhaps that was her new trend?
Thinking back, it had been a rather fun journey, I got to see different sceneries, people and places. Though a few weeks were spent trapped in a conclosed box, it wasnt like there was nothing to see there. In fact, one could even say that I had seen the other side of the world.
"Oh ok" I acknowledged.
Walking along, I found myself ordering takeaway at ZcDonalds. Naturally, I was going to enjoy it at the house I have left for months.
...
.
.
The door to the house wasnt locked. With a turn of the knob, I found that the door was able to be opened. This was rather strange. I was sure that I had locked it before I left.
Entering the house, it appeared to be kept clean to an acceptable level. The floor was at the least, not sticky or slippery to walk on.

Could my siblings have returned earlier than me? Yet again, i was proven wrong.
Inside the house, I see a few people with black hoods and the visible star and pentagram mark, sitting around, acting as though they owned the place.
"Oh whoese this?" greeted the hood people.
"The owner" I replied.
"I see" the hooded people immediately flew towards me. Leaping out from their positions, swords, magic and guns, found their way towards my direction.
Taking out my phone, I called the ambulance.
This alarmed the surrounding people, as they threaten me to let go of my phone immediately.
"Emergency hotline, may I have ur emergency?" A strangely happy tone greeted.
"Yes, can I call for a stretcher for 7 people?" I counted.
There was no need for me to state the adress. The city somehow knows after all.
Trying my best not to dirty the place, I decided to knock them out at once, by shaking each of their heads so vigorously, that their brains start resonating. Probably causing some severe head damage and whatnot.
None of them could move. At least, they found themselves on the ground before undestanding why.
I guess that's it?
The ambulance arrived in a flash, but instead of the usual white uniform, a few men dressed in black suits appeared at the door and took them in.
It was wierd. They didn't even bother asking why, they simply bagged the 7 unconsious attackers, and threw them into the van.
Then again...
it was really none of my businesss.
Sitting down at the dining table, I ate my ZcDonalds.
3rd POV
"Uh... hey.." Benedict tried to call out.
A certain adventurer was being forced to spend his money on liquor, by a certain archpriest who can't read the mood.
"Look! Look! It says here that this was made 40 years ago!" the archpriest waved around an expensive looking bottle.
"Its a rainbow label!" she exclaimed, promoting the drink to Kitzuma like some sort of salesman desperate to get his first sale.
Kitzuma reached his hands out, but managed to hold himself back in time.

It was dangerous.
If he were to take it, there goes all the money they earned.
"Sorry Perlin, but I guess this was just not what I want." Kitzuma told her with a straight face.
Currently, the wealthy archpriest had already dropped back down to the lowest ranking in the party, after spending most of her money on expensive liquor. But with that, she still hasn't learned her lesson.
"Uh Kitzuma," Benedict's voice freed him from the grasp of the archpriest.
"Yes?" he quickly replied, eager to change the subject.
" You told us that you were travelling with a gunslinger right?" Benedict probed.
"Yeah?" Kitzuma replied..
"By any chance, does he have black hair and eyes? An average looking face that could easily blend in with the crowd?" Benedict asked what he had thought of his younger brother as.
"Mhmm" Kitzuma nodded his head.
"And does he go by the name of Dominic?" he shot the last question which he was holding back.
"Yeah, do you know him or something?" Kitzuma replied.
The reveal was nonchalant and anti climatic.
"Yeah..." Benedict sighed.
With this fact answered, Benedict headed over to Mitsuha.
Their eyes met, and Benedict started his topic.
"By the way Mitsuha, do you know that the gunslinger they mentioned..."
"was Dominic right?" Mitsuha cut in.
"!" Benedict was suprised.
"Well.. yeah..how did you know?" he asked.
"It was kind of obvious wasn't it?" she replied.
The apathetic behaviour, the easy going mood, how he showed suprising skill desite his average looking appearence. Thoese were... pretty much the major hints.
An awkward atmosphere enfolds, as Benedict scratched his cheek awkwardly.
"So you guys want to grab dinner?" he asked them, as he watched the sun slowly dropping behind the buildings.
"Yeah" the others voiced their opinions.
In a certain academic city, there resided a certain white haired youth.
7 new individuals appeared infront of him.
"Where are we?" a hooded man asked, as he was forcefully thrown against the white and cold hard ground.
"Are they the new test subjects?" asked the white haired youth.
"Yes, you may begin" an announcement shook the entire room.
"Someday they gotta reduce that annoying loud announcement" the white haired youth thought.
He was perhaps the one reconigsed as the strongest student in the entire academic city.
With red eyes and white hair, they nicknamed him "The Devil", but alas, the #1 ranked in the academic city, found his powers to be lacking.
Having mastered the control of possibly all vectors, the white haired youth now stood upon the realm of breaking through into the scalar quantities.
Ever since he suffered from an unknown suprise attack, he demanded more and more power. Thus, the scientists here, would be thoese that grant his wish.
Countless body modifications, sugery and thoese other things had been done, his blood now flows along with some chemicals in a seperated man made vessel. All in all so as to prepare him to endure the burden of utilizing the unknown factor.
A scalar quantity so abstract, its concept was barely being grasped.
Time.
As they would call it.
"If you wish to live, kill the white haired youth before you" was what the annoyingly loud voice stated.
The hooded people complied. Having found their teleportaion spells to be useless, they complied. As they moved, the stopwatch started.
And then, time froze.
0.0000003
Was what was recorded.
Blood was splattered all around, as the hooded figure were all seen lying around on the floor. Like the lifeless corpse they were.
"The power level of his opponents increases everyday, yet his results only get better..." a scientist standing behind a glass pannel commented.
"Indeed, if this continues, we could be making the being that far replaces the hero" the scientists continued on their exploration into the unknown. They wanted to see how far science can go.
