????
"Man, it hurts all over" a certain black figured man in a tophat collapsed on the ground. It was clearly visible from the enormous hole bore through his abdomen. If it wasn't for his nature as a phantasm being, he would most likely have died by now. Ironic, for he was death itself.
"Hey, how are you doing?" a gently smiling women came over, she had a rather bright glow around her, and seemed to complement the aura comming out from the man collapsed against the ground.
Her whitish golden hair brushed against her ears, as she combed them back. Each step she took, the empty floor took form, golems formed out of nowhere, the golems walked around meaninglessly in the darkness, before collapsing into nothingness once again the momment it came near death.
"You fucking lying bitch" Death cursed under his breath.
"Hey now, mind your language young man" she chided in a rather sarcastically mocking manner.
It should be rather obvious, however life and death for which came first, it would always be life, and where it ends will always be death. Hence the play of words she used on their age.
"So, how was meeting a candidate?" she asked.
"Great, as you can see" Death replied.
As more golems dissapeared, the hole appeared to get smaller and smaller.
"Well, you should count yourself lucky to even be alive~" Life nonchalantly said, as she paraded around causing more golems to spawn.
"Sadly I'm death, so I'll never be 'alive'~" Death replied.
He managed to sit down on the floor, having recovered sufficiently.
"Yeah yeah whatever you say, we both know what I mean" Life replied.
"So? Did you manage to injure him? Did you cut his leg? His arm? or maybe even an eye?" Life asked excitedly.

"You'll be perfect if you weren't such a battle maniac" Death replied her.
"Whatever, just tell me" Life failed to notice the subtle confession, so as Death himself didn't notice his own words.
"Well, no, I didn't even manage to scratch him" Death replied.
"Huh?!" Life exclaimed.
"Really?! Don't you have more battle power than me?!" Life questioned.
"yeah really, I even brought him into my 'world' "Death told her.
"Did you grow weaker?!" Life questioned, she shot a beam of light out of the blue, and Death swatted it away with his own dark beam.
"No" Death replied.
"Even I managed to cut off his leg! There's no way the one you met could have been so much stronger"Life announced.
"I don't know, there's so many timelines here see? We are super lucky to even meet one in the near infinite amounts" Death told her.
"And, I only went into that timeline because one of the phantasm beasts escaped there" Death complained.
"Well, you shouldn't even have tried to fight" Life laughed as she praddeled around more.
"After all, there are only 9 of them, so when the last one comes into existence I guess the destroyers will begin to move......"Life told him.
"destroyers?" death asked.
"What?"he asked again.
"Oh, the one you met never told you? Well, as you know beyond us is Time, Space , Chaos and order in the void realm right? Further beyond that, we have Fate, Genesis, Reality and Miracle. However, even beyond that, we have, nothingness, everything and Creation/Origin." Life explained.
"And?" Death asked.
"You see, Creation/Origin has his own enemies you know? As you see from me and you, Creation's enemy is the destroyers. So there is 1 major giant super-being and uh alot of small ones. They range from planetary destroyers to universal destroyers. They live to destroy everything and stuff" Life summarized.

"So, from what the candidate has told me, he learnt things even beyond that. That creation or Origin has been trapping candidates to isolation to kill them so that he won't be replaced by one of them. There's also some superior power stopping Origin from killing the candidates. Some complex thing I don't understand." Life continued.
"So then, now there are only about 5 candidates left? Probably a 6th one is the last? Anyways, so after they chase away the destroyers, a gap in the fabrics of what makes anything anything at all would allow Origin to use that paradox and kill the Candidates. And also, since there can only be 1, after Origin somehow gets defeated, they'll have to fight each other until 1 last guy remains" Life concluded.
"And also..."
"This is farewell" Life said.
A mystical collar glowed around her neck. A mark glowed around her neck.
"The candidate I met held control so..."
"I guess he'll use me in more ways than one, this is SO exciting I mean look!" Life grabbed the mystic collar that formed around her neck.
"huh? wait!" Death desprately grabbed her collar.
It wouldn't budge.
And she dissapeared.

Crimson Pervert
Markus gets - quite literally - thrown into an RPG Fantasy world. Casually gaining game-breakingly great power is the very first thing of course, but afterwards travelling the world, building a harem and having plain fun is on the agenda. Note: No room to hide the fact that this is heavily inspired by the "Death March" web novel. I will give it my own touch by not having a Japanese-ish main character (Japan is cool and everything, but why have a harem if you never ever do something "H" with them?). Everything (characters, story, etc) is basically my creation, but I consider it a re-think of the original, so I can neither call it an "Original" nor a "Fan Fic". Don't expect it to be overly innovative. I will add an 18+ warning as soon as something like that happens, the first chapter just has a bit of undramatic blood. Comments welcome.
