《Path to Godhood: The Silver King (RWBY)》16. - RWBYS: Stunned Winter

Following after, Winter saw the two people guiding her, both of them were a little bit younger than her, yet exuded an atmosphere not weaker, she had seen the man before, as she too watched the Vale Tournament Clip recorded, as huntsman she knew the boy had already the strength of a second rank Huntsman, and while the girl strength was unknown, her momentum was the same.
As she followed she couldn’t help but look around the place, and she noticed that as they walked the amount of the security personnel reduced, their strength raised, by the time they reached a building she had seen a few professional huntsman.
At the moment they were to enter the building the man turned back and said towards her “My apologies, but this is as far as they can reach”, he said while pointing towards the two soldiers, nodding she told them to wait for her, as she continued following them.
Entering an elevator, Neo used the control panel to write a sequence, and the panel opened showing a black screen, Winter realized what it was, as she saw Neo put her hand on a down part of the screen and her identity was displayed in the other upper part of the screen.
Once she was done, she made a few gestures towards Winter, indicating her to hold onto the sides of the elevator, at that moment the elevator they were in, dropped slowly for a bit, before moving horizontally for some time, causing little discomfort as her balance was shaken a few times, finally the other side of the elevator opened, and she followed them out.
In front of her, was a room with closed silver doors, Neo moved first, opening the doors and making a gesture to Winter asking her to come inside.
_____________________________________________________________________________________
Entering the room Winter couldn’t help but feel marveled to the inside, it was quite big in size and there many different things inside it, yet the room was really organized, looking like a mixture of a laboratory and an office, at the right side of the room, there were many different types of mechanical and designing equipment while in a stand there were many different weapons being showcased.
The moment Winter saw them she couldn’t help but feel surprised, they were what the media classified as the Silver Class Weaponry, she recognized immediately as all of the carried an special feeling to them, apart from their elegant appearance.
The other side of the room, looked like a normal office would, there was a stunning desk and chair, and on top of it a portable model of computer was located, together with a scroll. At that moment Winter heard a sigh coming from the side, looking at the direction, it was none other than Neo that sighed as she held her head with her hand.
Seeing this Winter couldn’t help but feel stunned, suddenly Neo moved in the laboratory side of the room, as if looking for someone. Finally she spotted her direction and moved to a faraway model of motorcycle, and she stopped right in front of it, while looking downwards.
Seeing her Winter couldn’t help her curiosity and moved a little to unblock her sight from other equipment, and she finally saw what Neo was looking at, as a pair of legs came from below the bike, what surprised her were the size of them, as she could tell, they belonged to someone just a bit taller than Neo, and she was quite short even for a girl.

Finally she saw Neo couldn’t wait any longer and used her umbrella to poke the legs, and from within an even younger boy came from below, he was using some earphones, and looked questioning at Neo as he took his earpieces from his ears.
“What’s wrong Neo?” to his question, Neo pointed towards her in answer.
Seeing he gesture the boy, moved her sight towards her, and Winter was finally was able to see his face better, and she had to admit the boy was quite charming, tanned yet healthy skin, well defined features, and a pure silver colored eyes and hair.
The moment the boy saw her, he had a surprised expression on his face, but didn’t lose composure, he simply smiled towards her, and talked in a lower voice to Neo, to his action Neo simply took out her scroll and showed him the time.
Giving Neo a wry smile, he stood up from where he was and moved towards Winter, giving her a smile he said towards her “Hello! It’s nice meeting you, Miss Schnee”, taking his right glove off, he offered her his hand.
At that moment Winter couldn’t help but feel stunned, she had realized many things from Neo interaction with him, as a matter of fact, the boy couldn’t had been in this place if he wasn’t someone important, and the fact that he was manipulating equipment in this place, could only mean a few things.
She was so shocked that, her brain seemed to lose its functionality, as she took his and asked “Excuse me, are you by any chance?”
Seeing her Silva couldn’t help but smile and say back “From your reaction, it seems the General has maintained quite a few things well hidden, that’s great”
“Well Miss Schnee, my name is Silva Branwen, and I’m the Silver Fang Company, Mysterious Co-Owner”
_____________________________________________________________________________________
Hearing him say that, it took some time before Winter was able to come back to herself, she was truly appalled, her mind completely went white as she thought of the past years, this meant the boy in front of him that looked to be the same age of her little sister, was in fact the one that started everything.
After coming back to herself, she looked around to find Silva as she didn’t saw in front of him anymore, and found seated in his desk as he drank a cup of hot cocoa, while both Adam and Neo stood by his sides, she appeared quite mortified as It was the first time she had shown such embarrassing demeanor, so she tried fixing her appearance while walking towards him, only to see a small smile on his face, making her feel more embarrassed.
“I beg your forgiveness, I had shown such an embarrassing side of myself” she apologized as she lightly coughed.
Moving his hand in front of her, he answered back “There is no problem at all, you were only out for less than a minute, there is been way worst, you handled it the best so far”
Hearing him, she could not help but feel a little better and said while sitting on the chair in front of him “Is that so?”
“Yeah for example, there was this one council member that stood while muttering for at least a few hours, I was so worried I had to call Beacon’s Headmaster, after all, it was his fault”

“His fault?” asked Winter once more.
“Well, the reason why we had been able to grow so fast, it’s because his support, after the Company grew the one who received more benefits was no one but Beacon itself, yet because of the Headmaster responsibilities, there is some things that would take too much of his time if he were to take care of them directly” Silva explained seeing she nod he continued.
“For example, planted spies. After all there is many companies that wish to obtain information about me, and inside the Silver Fang, I don’t truly hide my existence, so how is possible that my appearance hasn’t been leaked yet?”
At that moment Winter completely understood what he meant, for companies it was normal to have many spies planted in other companies, even her family company did that.
“So I imagine, that man should had a big influence on Vale’s Economic Power to be able to deter other companies” Said Winter conclusion.
“Just as you say, of course there is other powers that still don’t understand, but I don’t have to worry about them, after all, I have trusty assistants” Silva said while looking towards his sides, seeing both Adam and Neo, both of them nodded back.
Looking at them, Winter couldn’t help but nod at him, during the small time they had talked, she found him to be not only pleasing to the eye, but incredible smart, before she could say Silva interrupted her by saying.
“Before we continue, I want to offer you an apology” His words stunned Winter as she tilted her head confused.
“Well I guess this guy by my side, wouldn’t have introduced himself to you, right?” Hearing him, Winter nodded back, in fact even though she didn’t say anything about it, she actually felt he was quite rude for not doing so, even though she knew who he was, after all he was the beginning of the Silver Series.
“His name is Adam Taurus, but you must have known him, he a great friend of mine, the only problem is he is quite resentful, so I beg your pardon” Silva said towards Winter, seeing that Adam couldn’t help but feel a bit ashamed of himself.
“I understand, there is no problem, but I have a question” Winter said back
“Oh! Do tell me please”
“About your name, by any chance are you related to the Branwen siblings?” Said Winter, appearing a little excited.
This question caused a small laugh to be heard from Silva, stunning Winter, seeing her amazed by his sudden outburst he said “Sorry about that, it’s just you are the first person to ever ask me that question on the first meeting, as most of them find out after”
“And yeah you could say, after all Qrow is considered to be my guardian, but that’s a long story you can look out by yourself later on”
“I understand” Responded Winter, the only thing he wanted was his confirmation.
“Now Miss Schnee, let’s start with what you came here for”
_____________________________________________________________________________________
Hearing him Winter nodded and raised her hand showing a spatial ring, this was one provided to her by General Ironwood, and she had to admit she was quite satisfied about them, even her Father had bought a ton of them, in order to help with the dust crystal transportation.
From within she took a small box and gave it too Silva, reaching the box he immediately opened it and took out a round crystal dust the size of a fist, seeing it, Winter couldn’t help being stunned by the amount of markings shown on the surface, there were so many she got completely dazed by looking at them.
“Want to know what it is?” Silva asked her, hearing him Winter unconsciously nodded.
“This is the latest model of continuous energy generation” He answered stunning her “At difference from the past generators which by being marked constantly absorbed energy from its surroundings, this little thing here, it’s made to work together with the past generators that utilized lighting dust”
“It has such a big amount of pure concentrated natural energy inside it, making the insides look like liquid” he said shocking Winter.
“You can’t see it because of the transparency of the liquid, but the moment you dye it with an elemental energy or aura, the liquid becomes visible. We call it Ether Crystal”
“While is not easy to make, its full advantages, the fact that it can work with the past generators it’s an incredible fact, after you can’t just replace every generator in Atlas”
“But the greatest benefit, it is small size and strength, which can augment the potency of military artillery. In the past, even though Dust was utilized in huntsman weapons, it wasn’t used in military artillery as it was still considered a luxury, but now things are no longer the same” Hearing him, moment many thoughts crossed Winter’s mind, as why she was receiving this information.
Finally she couldn’t help but ask “I understand, after all, I seen how the General is expanding and upgrading the military arsenal of both Atlesian soldiers and knights, but what are you trying to achieve with this?”
Seeing her Silva nodded and from his desk, he took out a tablet size scroll and gave it to Winter, he had confirmed his thoughts about her, she was a smart woman, who even at this point of time could see the bigger picture and was loyal to the General, it was no wonder that even with the situation of the SDC, the General still chose to give her some authority in the military as special operative.
After seeing her take the scroll and surf through it, Silva simply remained in silence as he watched her expression change, from surprise to doubt to sudden realization, finally her expression was a mix of them, and after some time she finally talked.
“This is?”
Seeing her, Silva answered confidently.
“This is the future direction, which Atlas Military and the Silver Fang wants to go, and at the same time is a business offer for the SDC”
“Yet you must understand why, the one in front of me right now, is not your father but you Miss Schnee” After saying those words Silva simply stayed silent as he let Winter think about his words thoroughly.
