Above a cornfield, Clare stared down from a helicopter with cold red eyes. Since early this morning the farm been under lock down by police. Under the suspicion of human trafficking and growing and distributing drugs. The farm was in chaos as the police began to swept the entire farm with few of Kevin’s special team.
“Clare, do you see anything?” Kevin’s voice entire her headphone. Disappointed in not finding a trace of Lefu, she shook her head.
“We will continue after a break,” Kevin said as he flew the helicopter over to flat spot. When the engines stopped and the propellers slowed down, Clare got out and stretched. She been searching nonstop for the past four hours.
After few stretches, Clare walked around and saw few women and children huddling around covered in dirt. Confused by the sight, Clare approached them, but they backed away from her. She approached a young officer who was attempting to talk to them.
“Who are they?” Clare asked.
“They were found in the basement. We are trying to find a translator as they don’t speak English,” the officer said as she watched with pity. The officer had a great body as Clare compared herself to her. If Clare had to describe her, she would say it a perfect hourglass figure. The officer had large breast and a thin waist, allowing Clare to wonder why she didn't become a model.
Why should I be worried, I should match Lefu’s preference perfectly, Clare glared at the officer name tag. Rosa, why are you wasting your chance to become a model?
“Something wrong?” Rosa asked.
“Nothing, so what is the language are they speaking?” Clare asked.
“We identified it as Czech, but nobody here can speak it and the cell service is bad,” Rosa replied in disappointment. Clare watched as she pouted and fell mesmerized by the sight.
“How come you didn’t become a model?” Clare suddenly asked out curiosity.
“I attempted to become a model, but when I refused to sleep with heir of Smash Entertainment,” Rosa replied in great anger. “I was blacklisted and any modeling job I found after that they would come in and steal it at last minute. So I gave up after a month and decided to become an officer.”
When Clare learned that it was Ted’s doing, she was displeased with Smash entertainment. Even if she has no interest in Smash Entertainment, she still knows some of it shameful behavior. Countless models were ruined by them and lives in shambles.
“If your interesting in modeling again, come to Primrose,” Clare said handing her a card. “We might not number one in modeling industry, but you won’t have to worry about Smash underhanded tricks.”

Rosa accepted the card out of politeness, but Clare seen she didn’t have any idea of joining. After talking for few more sentences, Clare walked towards Kevin who talking on the phone.
“What do you mean the workers went on strike,” Kevin asked. “So it the workers of Thousand Wood Logging company. Since they don’t want to work, just fire them and quickly rehire and get the place back on track.”
Kevin sighed as he hung up the phone. “Why do they want double of what they are making? They are making around 24.59 an hour.”
“It seems our excuse of human traffickers turned out true,” Clare said standing near Kevin. “The victims speak Czech, but doesn’t seems to understand english.”
“Oh,” Kevin said. “Well I will go speak to them. I know a little since some business partner speak it.”
“Be sure to ask if Lefu was here!” Clare shouted at him. Kevin quickly sent a thumbs up while cheerfully talking to the group. After few minutes, the group slowly began to speak and Kevin began nodding translated it to Rosa. Soon he thanked them and walked away.
“Lefu is not here as it been over a week since the last group came,” Kevin said. “It seemed that the trafficker were having an internal problem. So, these were the last group until they could find a new supplier.”
So Lefu not here, Clare sighed in relief. “If he not here let go onto the next farm,” Clare said ready to go. When she prepare to go, Kevin stopped her and shook his head.
“The police won’t be able to move for next few days,” He explained. “They have to file paperwork and they need breaks. The earlies we can get to the next farm is in five days as we can’t use the police forces everyday.”
“He could be gone by than,” Clare yelled. “What if something happens to him? What would happen if his seal breaks? If his seal breaks and he rampage what would happen?”
“We will know his location,” Kevin attempted to joke. “Anyways there are infinitely of ‘what ifs’ but worrying over it won’t solve it. My advice is to believe and trust him as he is not as weak as you think. He just needs to find his Will that pushes him grow, as currently he only been getting massacred by us.”
If his seal breaks, than a repeat of when he was fighting Matt will repeat. Even than we barely manage to stop him, but he grown stronger since than. Clare thought increasing her worries. She began to recall the countless futures that she seen inside the Omni System and didn’t want any of those to happen.

“Why don’t you join Camilla at her photoshoot for the next few days instead of worrying?” Kevin suggested. “If you continue worrying like this you will get early wrinkles.”
“I can’t get wrinkles,” Clare angry said. Since she is primogenitor of the vampires, she will always have flawless skin. Vampires will only stops aging during their twenties or unless they’re older when turned. In truth Kevin should look to be in his twenties, but for business and public image he cast illusion magic on himself appearing older.
Now with the knowledge that Lefu not here, Clare decided to leave leaving the police to their work. Instead of going back home, she went towards the park with a sketched pad. Whenever Clare returns home, she can’t stop worrying and wondering about Lefu. So, she began taking interest in drawing hoping to take her mind off of him.
She sat down on the park bench and looked towards the building peak above the trees. Gently pressing her pencil against her paper, she began outlining the basics shapes. Slowly she began adding smaller details into the trees along with the buildings. Within twenty minutes a sketched formed nearly identical to black and white photograph.
Satisfied with the result, Clare turned to the next blank page and began drawing another scene. Allowing her thoughts to go wild, she began drawing a scene where countless corpses were mutilated with a faceless man at the center. When she realized what she drew, she flipped the page and attempted to draw again.
Once again the scene was present, but the faceless man wasn’t alone. This time Lefu appeared seeming to be angrily shouting. Clare began to pick up speed quickly drawing the next scene and witness a grand battle between the two. Before she reached the end of the fight, she ran out of paper.
Clare sprinted towards a nearby street artist and bought his sketched pad. Trying to see the end, Clare attempted to draw again. “Why isn’t it appearing!” she shouted as no matter what she tries it doesn’t appear. In a fit of rage, Clare slammed the pad down and flopped into the grass looking back through the scenes.
“It seems both are equally matched, but why aren’t there wounds healing?” Clare analyzed carefully. “Both are heavily wounded, but Lefu should be healing within seconds. Judging how the faceless man is holding his own, he doesn’t seem weak either.”
While Clare gradually became lost in the sketches, a young man with short blonde hair approached. He wore suit and simple smile causing all the nearby ladies of young and old attention. He swiftly arrived next to Clare and began studying her body without a sense of shame.
“Hello beautiful, do you want to join me for a meal?” he asked in a flirty tone.
Clare annoyed at someone distracting her, she glared colder than absolute zero. She quickly debated if she should beat the man within inch of his life and disfigure his face or have BIll deal with it. A shadow at the corner of her vision quickly dismissed the thought. “If you can defeat my fiance father,” Clare simply said.
“Huh?” the man confused by her answer felt a hand land on him. He slowly turned around and saw a middle aged man made of pure muscle. His cold sweat had cold sweat as he was beyond terrified.
“Young man,” Matt asked in heavy tone. “What are you trying to do to my son’s wife?”
Matt who been destroying gangs looking for Lefu, was still in battle mode. His original plan was to take a relaxing break before continuing, but he spotted Clare. Upon noticing her, Matt saw a strange young man talking to her, but Clare attitude kept becoming colder.
“I-I was-wasn’t do-doing anything,” the young man said as he sped away. Confused by him running away so fast, Matt looked at Clare.
“Don’t worry about,” Clare said. “That guy wasn’t anyone I know or want to know.”
“That good,” Matt said. “Still it quite rude of him to runaway like that. Someone should teach him some manners.”
Please anyone would want to run away from you if they were told to fight you, Clare secretly smiled. Even when I mind my own business, why do random guys appear? Lefu was truely unique as he always attempted to stay away.
“Why are you here? Violet said you be destroying gangs or turning the city upside down,” Clare asked attempting to change topics.
“I decided to take a break,” Matt replied. “I found a man who seen an old man dragging somebody that looked similar to Lefu. When I went to the place, it turned out to be it was his grandson who was drunk.”
“So we still don’t have any clues,” Clare sighed in disappointment.
“Yeah,” Matt said. “But your seer power should give us few hints.”
“What?”

Madness Led by the Hands
‘Great, no… splendid. It was for naught.’ ‘Naught? Depends. If your desire is to send an army of killers our family’s way, yes indeed. If it’s plain survival you seek, then no.’ ‘They don’t coexist?’ ‘What… don’t tell me you’re still all groggy from the fall. Perhaps in novels, but real life is much tougher–––many more times a drag than anyone can possibly imagine. If dusty history is not a reliable teacher for you, then the pandemic surely took that place. At least that one has the advantage you needn’t be literate to savvy how reality always trumps imagination.’ ‘Whatever you say, whatever you say. So… what now?’ ‘Now? Isn’t it obvious? Now we shall survive. And live a good life.’ ‘Ohh… pretty much everything here has something against this little weird wish of ours. Might you consider?’ ‘Then pretty much everything here is a goner.’ ‘Hm, I don’t like the sound of that. Too much trouble, you see. I’d prefer laying low somewhere safe.’ ‘…nobody told you it’s mutually exclusive, no–––or did you forget about that too?’ ‘Fine, then I wish my future enemies all the best.’ ‘They are undeserving of your pity.’ ‘Of course not. That unlucky bunch won’t ever comprehend the reason behind their demise. Just let me smoke in peace and offer my condolence in advance.’ ‘Idem, let me study alchemy, unobstructed by all, if possible. This also includes you. By the way, are you sure you smoke to offer condolences? It seems like an excuse to me.’ ‘I-it is none. Plain truth, you see?’ ‘Seriously, why did I even ask...?’
