Gruugus appeared in full Space Marine attire, grinning viciously. "Finally, a chance to test you myself. Hmmm, it seems that my stats are lower than I expected, but they are set to match yours. CLARENCE, WHERE IS THE REST OF MY HOST?"

"Forgive me, your divinely gifted power, but the System refused to allow your chosen Wave schematic. I could have had him fight all of them or you. I figured you would appreciate yourself being here more than him fighting your host of space marines," Clarence answered calmly, which made Gruugus laugh.

"Ah, I figured he was much stronger than this. it must be the equipment he chose to work with... yes, I see it now. I will barely be able to inflict any damage to him, due to the combination of Defensive Statistic and Defensive Gear. A wonderful choice, my Champion. Wait, is that... yes, a true Crucible of Forging... Amazing. It has been centuries since the last True Artifact was Forged in Battle." Gruugus motioned at Joriya, healing him and fully replenishing his pools. "On your feet, Champion!"

"Clarence, some good battle music, please?"

"Do you have a preference?"

"How about you start out with Powerman 5000's 'When World's Collide', and follow it up with Otherworld, by The Black Mages."

"Done!"

The music started as Joriya rose to his feet, pulling the sword from the floor. He charged forward and clashed blades with Gruugus. Their blows rang off each other, parrying and narrow dodging as Joriya was tested by his deity in full. They knocked each other away and circled before clashing again and repeating the clashing of blades and bodies, each one a unique series of attacks, parries, counters, counter-parries, and disengaging.

After nearly eight minutes of this heavy back and forth, Joriya sacrificed a wound to his side in order to sever the tendons in Gruugus' primary arm, making him drop his weapon, which opened him up to a thrust to the face, which is blocked by a sudden blade coming out of the left arm of Gruugus' power suit. He grunts in pain and coughs, meanwhile the golden blood is quickly absorbed by the adamantium sword and Gruugus calls the fight in Joriya's favor.

"Good Job, boy, now check your messages!" Gruugus shouted as he abandoned his avatar, letting it be absorbed by the dungeon as the System seemed to go insane with updates for both Joriya and Clarence.

Joriya pulled up his notifications, starting with the secret quest, the completion of the Challenge, and Techniques he learned, followed by his sword's Crucible, and then the adjustment of his previous skills.
