"Well, well, well, if it isn't 'Dark Rose', are you on a date?!... Disgusting! Don't tell me you have already forgotten about 'him'?!"

Someone approached from behind Acheron, the voice of the woman was sweet like honey, but the words were full of poison.

"What are talking about? and more importantly, what are you doing here, corpse breath?" asked Rose, a sneer plastered on her beautiful face.

If the woman that just appeared had looked at the man Rose was with, she wouldn't be acting so high and mighty, especially since she knows who it is.

"Oh?"

Acheron turned his head to look at the woman, only to have his head buried in two soft mountain peaks.

*Boing*

Rose and the woman watched as Acheron inadvertently buried his face in the woman's chest. Time froze for a minute before Rose's face turned to anger and stared daggers at the woman filled with jealousy.

While the woman, who had still not seen Acheron's face, turned cold, her eyes spitting murderous intent.

The woman raised her arm over her head, a long knife held in her hand.

"Disgusting creature! How dare you defile my royal body?! Only my white knight can touch me!" the woman screeched,

The woman moved fast and accurate, she was aiming for the man's heart, she intended to end him with a knife from the back.

Acheron with his face still buried in the soft flesh just smiled and inhaled deeply, causing the knife to move even faster towards him.

"If it isn't Little Vee! You sure have grown up in the last decade!" Acheron said, his muffled voice was barely heard by the two women.

The knife froze just centimeters away from his back, the woman's face was shocked as tears started to well up in her eyes, as the voice was so familiar to her.

Suddenly, the knife disappeared from the woman's hand and before she knew it was back underneath her dress in the knife strap on her thigh, Acheron had moved at lightning speeds and disarmed her before she could even blink.

She took a step back, now revealing the face she had dreamed about ever since she was 16. She couldn't believe her eyes, she thought this man was long dead, his supposed death is what turned Rose from her best friend/rival to her enemy.

"Big Bro Ash?" Her voice quivered as tears started to roll down her face.

Acheron smiled at her,

"Hey Little Vee, it has been a long time! You have grown to be such a beautiful woman, more beautiful than I would have ever imagined"

As he looked at the grown woman in front of him, he couldn't help but think of the girl he had seen almost a decade ago.

Her name was Violet Mountbatten, her last name is well kept secret and only a few know of it, this includes Acheron. Born of royal blood, she joined Shadowland as part of her training, she is sworn to protect the British Royal Family by all means necessary.

Her appearance in Shadowland coincided with when Acheron had taken Rose there for training, seeing that they were almost the same age, Rose 12 at that time and Violet 14, they quickly became the bestest of friends and often teamed up for assassination missions.

Within 2 years there, they became the best assassins on the Shadow List, where the world's best assassins were ranked. Rose became Rank 1, while Violet became Rank 2.

Rose gained the nickname of 'Dark Rose' due to her always wearing black, a style she copied from Acheron, and her striking red hair. While on the other hand, Violet gained the nickname 'Splice' due to her mutant powers.

Acheron couldn't help but think of this beautiful woman's weird power.

Violet had the power to interchange body parts with fresh corpses. Be it organs or limbs, she can easily remove them from her body and change them with another.

What is even more interesting is what happens to the other person's body part once it is put in place by her. The new limb or organ is quickly assimilated by her body and transformed into one fit for her body.

For example, if Violet's arm was crushed or amputated, she could easily remove the arm, find an enemy male's intact arm, remove it from their corpse and attach it to her shoulder, where her body will quickly create another layer of skin over the new arm. Her body will then assimilate the new arm, change the new DNA into hers, and turn it into her previous dainty and soft looking arm.

She can do this with any body part, except her brain, well at least as far as Acheron knows, her brain has never been touched.

Violet has the potential to live a long time, he now puts her approximate life span at 500 years.

*BAM*

Rose slammed the table, breaking Violet out of her stupor.

"How many times have I told you?!? It's A-KE-RON! Not A-SHE-RON!!"

Acheron laughed,

"Its okay Rose, different parts of the world pronounce my name differently, her form is one of the acceptable ones"

Rose pouted,

"But Lord Acheron, her form of address is simply disrespectful! Anyone who hears it will think of that cartoon character from Pokémon!"

"There's nothing to worry about, besides, I raised you watching Pokémon, so it's not that bad," Acheron said dismissively,

Violet just stared at the two banterings while still in a state of shock, she still couldn't believe that Acheron was alive.

"Big Bro Ash, I thought you were dead!" Violet said,

Acheron looked at her weird,

"Who said that?"

"When I was 16, you didn't come from the mission with Rose, on her arrival she looked devastated, and when I asked her where you were, she said you were gone!" Violet said,

"Hahaha! I didn't die, I just went home" Acheron said,

"Rose was probably sad since she had to stay there by herself until she was 18"

Rose looked down full of embarrassment, she didn't dare look up because his words were the truth.

Now Violet felt bad, she had hated Rose this whole time thinking she was the reason why her White Knight in shining armor, her hero, her crush of almost 1 year then and now 10 years, was gone.

Because of a misunderstanding she had lost her best friend of all time, she wanted to apologize to Rose, but she didn't know how and if they were able to be friends again.

'Oh, how embarrassing this is!' Violet thought,

"Well, Little Vee, why don't you sit down and join us… Rose scoot over and make some room," Acheron said,

"…. Okay" said Rose, her voice full of defeat, it seems her alone time with Acheron ended here.

Violet sat next to Rose in the booth, she now had a dazzling smile as she looked at Acheron.

The trio didn't know of the chaos that had occurred upon their arrival.

Rose's beautiful dress and burning red hair attracted the eyes of all males inside the restaurant, which earned the scorn from those who had their partners with them.

Those that glared at Acheron were full of jealousy, thinking it was just a rich boy taking this beautiful model out for a date, showing off in front of the common masses.

Then Violet came in, just as beautiful as Rose, her purple hair attracted attention wherever she went, her hourglass figure was covered by a beautiful black dress that showed her back.

When she spotted Rose and headed towards them, when the male eyes landed upon Acheron, they couldn't help but swear at the world for the injustice and the boy's luck.

The reason why Violet even walked into this family restaurant, she had just come back from a job in the U.S and had the habit of going to family restaurants after a mission, just like when Acheron did when they were teens.

The trio talked and bickered whit each other just like they did in the past, it felt nostalgic for the three of them, causing the girl's hatred for each other to diminish by quite a bit.

Rose had already realized what had happened with Violet all those years ago when she saw how Violet was so surprised seeing Acheron and the look of guilt in Violet's eyes when she looked at her, that's when it hit her and put the pieces together.

When Acheron finish eating, he looked at the girls'

"Shall we go shopping?" Acheron asked,

The girls nodded, happy smiles plastered on their faces.
