Selenia continued her journey Meanwhile Lucifer began working on a few projects he had been putting off while the attack was in progress, first he expanded the third floor by adding a large lake near the end of the floor, then he diverted the water from his trap into the lake to fill it up causing the people outside constructing the new city to panic at the sudden stop water again, the last time this happened was almost a week ago and the water only stopped for a couple hours unlike this time where it took days for the water to resume.

Lucifer actions caused a panic of the construction teams and city planner and had inadvertently led to the creation of an artificial aquifer, which would be used if the waterway suddenly stopped having flowing water again.

Lucifer gave a satisfied nod to himself at the genius idea of using the water from his trap instead of creating his own to save mana, then once the lake was nearly full he started looking through his Earth Mails to find suitable creatures to fill the lakes eco system, he had messed around with small versions of the lake in his lab before so he had an idea of what to place where.

Soon there were aquatic plants living in the lake to make cover and hiding places and food for the smaller fish, then he added some small predators, some were simple fish that were similar to piranhas of earth while others were more similar to crocodiles, Lucifer refrained from adding the more interesting aquatic things he found in his Earth mails because they were not suitable for the third floor.

Finally, he created small breeding pools that a large salmon type fish would use, these shallow pools were small enough for the Panthers to easily hunt or play in, which was his original purpose for creating the lake in the first place before he got carried away, this was a means to reward the Panthers for their fine mauling skills they showcased during the invasion.

While Lucifer was working on the lake Lucky appeared to watch the Panthers happily eating the fish, then fluttered over to where Lucifer was and suggested that he put something shiny at the bottom of the lake, he asked "why would I do that, dark waters are scarier than clear water"

Lucky smiled deviously in complete contrast to her beautiful appearance and replied: "But how are those big lizards going to eat anyone if no one goes swimming?"

A short time later evil laughter and cute giggles intertwined as something shiny lit up the bottom of the lake giving off an ethereal light.

Lucifer felt something move in one of the rooms he was keeping track of in the back of his mind, he said goodbye to Lucky and left her to play with the Panthers as he flew to the holding cells deep in the dungeon, when he arrived he found The rogue had woken up, he gingerly felt around the cell as his muscles were still damaged and caused him pain with every movement.

After watching the rogue fumble around in the darkness for a couple minutes Lucifer decided to speak to the man once he realized that he was not going to escape.

"There is no point trying to escape, those walls are made of the strongest material I can make, and even if you do manage to get out of that cell you will only be met with an unending maze of misery and suffering" Lucifer coldly said.

The rogue jumped and the sudden voice then replied "What do you want dungeon"... "what have I done to deserve this?"

Lucifer answered "You not only invaded my DOMAIN you also told others of my existence and of my sentence"

"how did you know"

"you told me" Lucifer sighed at the man's stupidity.

"what?... when"

"just now dumbass"

The rogue sat there in a stupor thinking about how stupid he was for admitting it so easily, he sighed in despair once again, he took a deep breath and seemed to calm down to the surprise of Lucifer, he had accepted his death.

The rogue was not a good man by any metric of measurement and he knew his past deeds would catch up to him eventually so like most adventurers death was not an unfamiliar concept to him, however, he would have never guessed that his end would come from a sentient dungeon from the legends.

His thoughts were interrupted by Lucifer "submit to my bindings and become a servant"

The rogue could hear the slight tone of anger that Lucifer could not keep hidden and was reminded of all the other times he had heard that familiar venom filled tone, most of the time he had heard it the person on the receiving end died a long drawn out death, he paused for some time before he decided then almost carefreely replied "I'll pass, I don't like being anyone's servant, I've already been there and done that so just kill me and be done with it"

Lucifer chuckled sending shivers down the rogue's spine then replied: "we can do this the easy way or the hard way and personally I recommend that you chose the HARD WAY, because that would be so much more FUN to me hahaha".

The rogue could faintly hear familiar scuttling sounds over the dungeons laughter, he then swore that the dungeons voice became several times more sinister despite there being no change in the voice at all, all the hair on his body stood on end as he remembered the nightmare of being chased by the ants until he was exhausted and eventually overwhelmed.

Lucifer watched the reaction of the man and when he thought that the man was on the tipping point of sanity he stopped laughing and with a sickeningly gentle voice said "don't worry they won't kill you that are actually quite friendly, although they like to play bite sometimes, but that's just how they show affection, you don't need to worry I'll make sure to heal any little boo boos they cause so you can get along for a long time" Lucifer almost could not help adding a cutsey "teehee" a the end with a woman's voice just for added insult to injuries sake.

The rogue started to shake vigorously as the blood drained from his face, he then began to pat down his body in search of a weapon, Lucifer thought that maybe the weapon he searches for is not for the ants and was almost forced to give compliments to the man's decisiveness.

Just as the oversized ants came into view the rogue pleaded "okay okay I give up, just take those things away from me please" with a noticeable tremor in his voice.

After binding him to his will Lucifer said: "now that initiations are finished my first order for you is to never lie to me, or hide the truth from me in any way, so shall we get started with the interrogation, first question what is your name".
