Lucifer returned to his lab and took a glance at the doll in the corner and sighed, should he continue his research on gaining a body which he was close to completing, or focus on defenses for the incoming enemy.
The problem was, he had no idea of 1 when they were coming, 2 how many were coming and most importantly how strong they were. If the people Salenia said were after him then security was more important, but if they ignored him or simply couldn't like the equipment to him, then saving what little of his humanity would be a higher priority.
He could feel irritation building, but then just disappear. At that moment he had made his decision, he could die and that wouldn't be a problem for him, he would just start again, but if he lost his humanity then he wasn't sure that even going through the doughnut would bring back his humanity. (he his him he his him god dangit)
He flew towards the cells where he kept his prisoners, The rogue sat in the corner muttering something about ants but Lucifer did not want him to die just yet, so he passed the rogues cell and arrived in front of the tank's cell.
Inside the cell, he found a broken man, Lucifer had looked in on the man occasionally but for the last week he noticed the man hadn't moved, he sat in his own excrement apparently too apathetic to even use the toilet. Several days worth of food sat untouched near the door where Lucifer created them.
he was already talking to himself as a coping mechanism before Selenia left. Without her daily visits and verbal battles he quickly fell deeper into insanity, he was suffering from hallucinations and then he became paranoid about the hallucinations. Prolonged isolation is a reliable method of sending someone insane, but Lucifer could never have guessed that the man would break so quickly.

Lucifer intended to use the man in other experiments, but in his current state, Lucifer was sure that was pointless trying to get him to do anything. Besides he had a greater use for him right now.
The problem with Lucifer's attempts at entering a new body was everything he tried to possess could not contain him, his consciousness seemed to be made from pure mana and forcing it into a living being usually ended in an explosion.
It's not that he had not used that much mana on something before, but then it was used to evolve the creature so all the mana was absorbed and used by the creature's body, however, when he tried to shove his consciousness inside a body, it had to hold all the mana at a single moment for an extended period of time.
So Lucifer intended to simply create a stronger body.
First, he shot a water jet at the man to clean him, the high-pressure water pushed him into a corner, but the man did not even react so Lucifer stopped before he accidentally killed him. Second, he started to shove large amounts of mana and life energy into his body. The tanks body bulged and grew, the already tall man went from 6 foot to 7 and his shoulders widened, finally, his muscles started to increase in size until Lucifer was sure the man was at the limits of what is still considered human.
With his first body complete all he had to do was possess it, he began to slowly force his consciousness inside the tank's body, however, there seemed to be some sort of resistance from the man's soul preventing Lucifer from taking over.
Getting so close to finally obtaining a body and then being bodyblocked by his prisoner's soul pissed Lucifer off, so he activated his the tanks soul binding and instantly crushed the soul into non-existent. He was only surprised by the effectiveness of the soul binding for a moment before his vision shifted to black.

After a moment he felt his arms, then his legs. He felt all the muscles in his body to get a feel for it then stood up. Lucifer flexed his muscles and felt the power he had gifted this body.
Although he could feel a slight connection to his core reminding him he wasn't completely human (not that this body was still human), however, he was glad that he could feel things physically again.
After focusing for a moment a mirror appeared infront of him and he sighed in relief, if he lost his dungeon abilities that would be a shame.
The image reflected in the mirror was of a tall man with sharp features and absurd muscles, he looked like the mountain with the body toning fo bruce lee. The only thing that disappointed him was the previous owners face, however, after a little magic the problem was solved and Lucifer left the cell satisfied with the experiment.
When he walked past the rogue's cell Lucifer could hear screaming fade behind him about betrail and getting out together which he ignored.
Lucifer still needed to plan for a possible invasion and this time he wanted to be well prepared. Instead of going directly towards his core to start increasing the defenses he wanted to get the opinions of those working under him. he definitely wanted to know what Rick had to say considering his abilities, perhaps he could make something fun for the intruders.

Wizards of the Otherworldly Court: End of the Five, Twenty-three, and Twenty-nine Years Story
Alternate titles: - Five, Twenty-Three, Twenty-Nine Years - 5, 23, 29 "Dad? I think I got a really bad fever, why do I still feel fine?" "It feels cold..." Five years ago, Owen became a Court Wizard in search of his father who was lost to the unknown three years prior. But that wasn't the beginning of the story. Maybe it began twenty-three years ago when Ronald Bell and Joshua Ruze saved the Illyer family. Or perhaps, it all started twenty-nine years ago, when Ronald, the son of the wealthiest merchant, became a Court Wizard. Well, it doesn't matter anymore, for the story five, twenty-three, and twenty-nine years ago shall now meet its end. 2nd book written in the Wizards of the Otherworldly series. Read Wizards of the Otherworldly Court: Alicia first. This story is split into two 'Collections,' Ronald's Collection and Owen's Collection, each centering around those Court Wizards. Crossposted with WordPress site, Wattpad, Sufficient Velocity, and Rainobu. Wizards of the Otherworldly Court is a fantasy story about the Otherworldly Court, an inter-dimensional (or world-hopping, you get the idea) organization made up of people of all ages, gender, and race from many parallel or different worlds. They are granted elemental-like magic powers and called themselves 'Court Wizards'. They are tasked to watch over the many worlds they come across and step into these worlds on 'missions' to preserve the balance, life, order, anything to make said worlds better places in the shadows but may reveal themselves if necessary. However, these missions may partially or even fully oppose their nature, personal interests, and ideals. Yet, most of the Court Wizards are aware and willing to complete even the worst missions that would shatter their true selves that they will never cast aside regardless, either growing or regressing because of it. Basically, it's isekai to multiple worlds but each book after Wizards of the Otherworldly Court: Alicia focuses primarily on one world while also discussing its lore in detail. Book Alicia is the introduction containing the essential worldbuilding of the Otherworldly Court universe you need to know while shoving in as many characters and worlds as I can. Also, each book will have a different main character, sometimes more than one in a single book, like Jojo.

Time And Thoughts
This a book is where I freely express and convey emotions and my thoughts about topics. It's a place where I spend my TIME putting my THOUGHTS into words in hopes of helping someone. I've written these poems in such a way, so that my viewers can derive their own meaning from them. For me as a person I tend to feel more comforted, when down, by listen to music or reading poems, in which the poem or song is hopeless and gives off the feeling of the protagonist being bluntly hurt. In my poems I write without words of encouragement, but instead comfort the reader through understanding and allowing them to feel.If you ever feel the need to talk to someone or want to know the meaning of one of my poems or just wanna say something feel free to comment or private message me.Please enjoy and be comforted by my book.Highest ranking:#1 poems#1 poembook#2 poemcollection#2 poem#3 poetry#3 poetrycollection#5 sadpoems#5 thoughts#8 emotions#13 freeverse#17 hopeless#20 feelings#24 sadness#36 depressing #44 updating#56 life#70 sad#87 poet
